My hubby and I went to this bar on a Friday evening before it got too busy and there’ was only one bartender working and he was slow as can be and not very friendly. It’s such a beautiful bar, but I hate going here because you have to wait in line for a drink longer than any other bar in Phoenix.

Friendly hangout, mostly LGBTQ+ but welcoming to all types and ages. Good dogs welcome on the great patio. Top-notch cocktails created by attentive, attractive, top-tier bartenders. Two pool tables, darts, jukebox you can control with app. And they'll do ya a delicious charcuterie. All-in-all, a pleasant time spent.

Bar 1 is exactly what you’d expect from a solid neighborhood bar. Strong pours that hit the sweet spot—generous but not over the top. Prices are reasonable, and the bartender was perfectly fine, though nothing stood out. It’s not a place for thrills, but it delivers what you want in a local spot. A solid 4 stars.

I first walked into to Bar 1 at 23 years old. I was greeted with nothing but kindness and joy.I’ve met some of my best friends at Bar 1.We’ve all shared loss and growth.Bar 1 helped me fully come out of my shell.I will never forget it.I met my love at Bar 1.I embraced my queerness at Bar 1.I took my mother to her first queer bar, at Bar 1.Bar 1 is simply the best.

I don’t really write reviews, but wanted to on this special occasion…This was my first time there. Atmosphere was great and drinks too (had apple martini). But I had the little Charcuterie platter and I ended up with bad food poisoning. I am writing this on the toilet.The place was pretty cool overall. Probably would go again. Just a bummer to have a night of emptying my stomach out of both ends like in the movie Bridesmaids.

Have not been to Bar 1 in years. Took my sister and laws out for their wedding anniversary and to celebrate my birthday. Great, chill atmosphere.The staff is amazing.Couldn't ask for a better night

Invited here by some co-workers, great atmosphere and vibe. Gay or straight it’s a good bar. The owners, the Todd’s are the best!!!! Patio is bomb.

Was on my way to another bar when me and my friend noticed this place with all there lights and decided to check it out had no clue it was a lgtbq bar and omg this place is amazing one of the best patio set ups I’ve seen this place has such a great theme throughout and the bouncer is one of the nicest people you’ll meet overall the bartender I had was super sweet as well and we were served pretty fast for it being really packed I love this place I plan to come more often now such a vibe I recommend coming for a drink
