Centre Stage, Copenhagen, is the city’s hottest new LGBTQ+ spot, having opened its doors in August 2024. Nestled in the heart of Copenhagen's buzzing gay district, this bar brings a vibrant, playful energy to the scene. It’s a must-visit for those who love the glitz and glam of musical soundtracks, movie hits, and all things pop. Expect a dash of fabulousness with glitter, colour, and a safe space for flirty fun.
The bar regularly hosts themed nights and serves up karaoke and drag performances on its cozy stage. It’s perfect for a night out with friends or making new ones, with its welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that reflects Copenhagen's progressive LGBTQ+ culture.
Centre Stage took over from the iconic Cosy Bar, so it has some big shoes to fill, but early buzz says it’s already becoming a community favourite. With its late-night closing hours (sometimes until 5 AM!), you can keep the party going long after the pop beats drop. A go-to destination for LGBTQ+ visitors and locals alike, it’s definitely a place to feel at home and celebrate all things queer in Copenhagen!
Such a great time here! Drinks were delicious, atmosphere was very fun and lively. Staff was very nice and recommended really good drinks. Saw someone left 1 star, guy got kicked out for stealing drinks and being rude to staff, this place deserves 5 stars! Tak!
The atmosphere was super welcoming and vibrant, with a really pleasant and friendly crowd that made it easy to feel at home. The drinks were fantastic — well-made and reasonably priced — and the music had the perfect balance, mixing classic hits, pop, and dance tracks to keep the energy just right all night. Definitely a spot worth visiting for a good time
I absolutely love this bar. The owner has a clear vision and the decorations with divas all over were great. The bar staff is friendly and fast. We went on a Thursday night to see Evita Kedavra do a Broadway themed show and it was super fun. She was respectful but worked the crowd with those who wanted to engage and she knew how to command a room. We were planning to go to another bar but decided to stay later because we had so much fun. I highly recommend this place!
Easily the best queer bar we visited in all of Copenhagen (and we visited them all). Make sure you stop in for a pint or cocktail. The friendly bar staff (especially Eddie) will get you where you want to be. The space is comfortable with a lounge vibe and they host shows and events almost every night. You don’t want to miss the drag nights!
Amazing staff, the venue is so classic and Jazzy and the staff are so welcoming. I was lucky enough to join for the karaoke night! Was so much fun. Highly recommend for tourists and locals alike for a chilled bar filled with light hearted fun and positivity.
What a wonderful bar and incredible staff! They made me and my partner feel welcome while visiting Copenhagen for the first time. Although the staff helped us understand the great spots around the neighborhood, we found ourselves back here again and again each night of our trip. You must stop by if you’re in Copenhagen!
An absolute hidden gem in Copenhagen. Amazing atmosphere. Super professional and personable bartender. It really feels like a speakeasy. I thought about not telling anyone to keep it my little secret, but I also wanted to be here. Come here you won’t be disappointed. I bet all of my reputation on it..
Such a great place for a Sunday night wind down! Morton was such a great and wonderful bartender! It was a slow night, but he kept us entertained. My friends and I had such a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back Tuesday night for Karaoke night!!!
One of the most inviting places I've been. The staff here is second to none. Great vibes, great drinks, and great people. What else could you need. We will definitely be visiting again next time we're in Copenhagen.
Beautiful place to grab an afternoon coffee and evening drinks. This bar has the most selection of Hendrick gin I have ever seen. The bartender was amazing, so knowledgeable, handsome and fun. He made amazing Martinis and Tonics 🙂 I missed the Karaoke but the bar is well put together, clean and has a very classy feel.
I was recently traveling around the Nordic capital cities. I stopped at Centre Stage while I visited Copenhagen. The bar had a great atmosphere, great drinks and lovely staff. The owner, Morten, is super friendly and welcoming. If you're in Copenhagen, stop by Centre Stage for a good time.
A very nice, all-inclusive gay bar. It used to be Kozy Bar. Was recently renovated and re-done very well. It has a showtunes theme. Lots of classic divas on the wall and a combo of showtunes and pop music playing. Very classy, relaxing vibe. Drinks are good. Full bar. Owner is very personable. Non-smoking if that's your preference. A nice relief compared to the other bars on the street that are very smoky.
Lovely place with amazing music - musical and cabaret hits. Fantastic staff with experience within the lgbt community for years. If you are into chandeliers, musicals, drinks and vibes from a forgotten era, this is the place to visit!
My new favourite bar in Copenhagen! Camp, fun, colourful, and friendly. Great music, friendly staff, nice drinks, and a really nice atmosphere. A refreshing new option for the city.
I visited Centre Stage last Friday. Excellent new entry in the Copenhagen's scene! The bar had a cozy feel and the staff was attending and friendly! Definitely I will go back again and I recommend it!!!
Fabulous bar - went there with 5 friends on the day after its opening day and already everything went perfect. Super friendly staff, great cocktails and a fun lively crowd. We had great fun!
