Great place nice decor unique dance floor, friendly staff and lots of effort gone into the interior design hope it gets more popular. Support your local lgbt venue. They are closing faster than opening. Edit. Unfortunately due to a load of hostile straight locals, the bar was forced to close. Screw you, Wimbledon

I just have to say how utterly disappointed I am so this bar. Everyone wants to support it but it has nothing going for it, bright lights, no music, no lights on tables, no promotions, no reason to be there! What are you doing it’s utterly shameful that the only LGBTQ+ venue I would seemly have no idea how to have a good time. It would take all of a week to transform this place with DJ, promotions, low lighting, fun bar staff. None of which currently exist there. who owned this place!? it’s basic bar 101. Such a waste. When it’s gone it will never be replaced they have this chance only to make things right!

TRUST YOUR INSTINCTSReally didn’t like it here. There was an aggressive kind of vibe, which later spilled over into aggression which ended up on the street outside. Googled it when home- the fact that this establishment is still open following a recent history of serious physical violence is as surprising as it is deeply troubling. There are much nicer places along this strip- with atmosphere, and more importantly, a feeling of safety. Ironic really. Also the staff are disgusting rude, how disappointed is that, good luck to you.

Used to be a great gay bar and safe space but apparently no longer due to a management decision.Doesn’t feel for the lgbtq+ community, although the staff were apologetic and sympathetic.

Used to love this place but it’s now under new management and charging £10 to get into an empty bar. A lot of attitude from the door staff too. Avoid.

I am really sad to say there is nothing gay and happiness at this Bar anymore, honestly i quite. there is nothing more than people offering to buy drugs, strange people… i do not recommend to no one, music horrible and the place honestly sticking like a hell customer that do whatever they want just because they are friends stuffs. I’ve that am not a fan of Central london i have to go over there o maybe in clapham cause the club is done. My advice for people who live near Wimbledon

Owner should bring back the old management from 2019 pre covid, to TRY and save this venue. The events and vibe was fun and safe back then.It is a total shame it is going down hill, as the local community needs a safe space.

Could work as a gay bar rather than gay club! Merton council altered the licence for this premises so it can only stay open until 12:30. This is not ideal but the amount of incidents that occurred is dreadful and needs addressing. I was there when a man was bottled and the person who was bottled grabbed my plastic cup and threw it at the offender. Since then if feels like it went down hill.I was a semi-regular attending this venue every other week or so. It used to be amazing. I can only suggest it try and survive as a bar with themed nights etc. With a better happy hour. Will be sad to see this place shut as a gay bar / club.

It really is beyond me how this grubby little neon den, with nightly screeching and regular violence spilling out onto the pavement, is still open. The Police have made an application for review of its licence, so hopefully it won’t be for much longer.

Start on the manager and the security guy was rude and he took away our full drinks . We pay £20 to go in to an almost empty bar to see dark queens show… which it wasn’t our primary preference but we still thought the bar was good. Furthermore they kicked us out with no explicable reason, and the security guard took away our drinks that were paid for with not a word. So I really would not recommend this place to anyone, unless they want to be mistreated.if I could I would rate 0 stars ⭐️

Surprisingly fun queer venue in Wimbledon. Bar, dance, cabaret/drag all great. I guess the upstairs part could do with an upgrade in interior design, sound system and lights (mirror ball, flashing, coloured lights? CMYK coloured lights would be a no brainer?!), and glasses (how can one run out of pint glasses in a London bar?!) Staff are super friendly and the genreal atmosphere is very fun and easy going. Worth a trip to Wimbledon for sure!!

Came for the karaoke and had a great laugh, the club is small (not a bad thing) and has a good atmosphere as well as drinks, Rosie Z was beautiful and I will be coming back in a Sunday for a drag show, 5 stars is not something I would give lightly but my female friends and I were being harassed by some men and as soon as I reported it they were moved away from us by the bouncer, I called up later to ask the manager(?) to check on my friends which he was very happy to do, very impressed

£10 for a drag show on a Thursday night in which the venue was seemingly empty... Not sure that's a business model that's going to work!

It’s either really busy or really empty, either way the bartenders are a delight and I always feel safe when I’m there x

Was racially attacked for being dual heritage, staff removed the patron and then let him back in, in which he carried on racially attacking patrons

Fully booked, despite there being no indication of a booking being needed on their website. There were more people in the smoking area than could be seen indoors. The only issue I've had with the door staff here. Make sure you're three males on your own. No reason given. A shame, this place is usually an ally to the LGBTQ+.

Went there on a Saturday, bar staff were so so friendly and nice that’s the only reason for the extra star. My boyfriend and his friend got a bottle of prosecco, and the drag act drank from the bottle without asking before they went to perform, when we started asking why, they then asked the security guard to throw us out for “being too loud and drunk” even though we weren’t at all. As a regular before it changed I always loved dancing downstairs which used to always be busy at the weekend however it was not open on this night due to not many people being there which was a shock for a Saturday night

Great little bar, but feels like it’s still trying to find its feet. There seemed to never been the right number of staff working - too few to cope or too many twiddling their thumbs. Drinks are expensive for the area and compared to going more central where there’s obviously more action happening. Not sure I’d go out my way to head back soon. Might wait till it’s a bit more established.

I know some of the Drag Queens getting booked at this new Gay Bar in Wimbledon. I've also been following it on Insta since its launch to see how its been going...Being totally honest, I was intrigued to see what its like so I made the long over an hours journey (3 different trains) to get a feel for the place.Despite being a Small Bar it is however entirely charming & very welcoming. There are friendly bar staff (some rather easy on the eye 😉), great atmosphere & excellent Drag Queens to enjoy👌.The only thing I cannot do is attend often purely for the fact this is based on the edge of West London & I am situated on the edge of East London 🤷🏼‍♂️...Don't worry though, I'll be back one day in future👍🥂!
