Coming Out is a fantastic spot with a view on the Colosseum that I kept coming back to during my stay in Rome. The place is very clean, with a welcoming atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff—special thanks to Domenico, Rosie, and Alessandro! Their warmth and hospitality made me feel at home every time I stopped by.Their Egg and Avocado Toast is a must-try! It’s huge, delicious, and perfect for brunch. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a tasty start to your day.One experience really stood out: I was sitting outside on the terrace when two people sat behind me, and I didn’t notice that my bag with all my papers and wallet was left open. Thankfully, Domenico was quick to spot that something was off. He came over, asked if they were ordering, and, after sensing they were just hanging around, asked them to leave since the terrace was reserved for breakfast guests. Only afterward did I realize that my bag had been opened—thanks to Domenico, they didn’t have time to take anything.Huge thank you to the team at Coming Out for not only their excellent food but also their care and attentiveness. Highly recommend stopping by for breakfast, brunch, or just a welcoming vibe in the heart of Rome.
Beautiful gay bar with affordable drinks right by the colosseum. Their signature pride drink has all the pride colours and it tastes great! I heard that they had a vegan burger but we didn’t eat there.
Cute LGBT restaurant and bar with an amazing view of the Coliseum. Prices can be a tad high, but they do have deals at times which can help balance the cost. The service was pretty good, the servers were nice. The views both during the day and nights are incredible. There is enough space to sit comfortably and the clientele are a mix of tourists and locals, which is nice.Nice spot to sit down and have a snack or drink through the day or to have a drink at night with a few friends
My wife and I stopped in after seeing the rainbow sign from the Colosseum. The service was great and it's nice to be free to kiss my wife without being concerned about our safety. We bought T-shirts, had drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere. It's definitely worth the stop.
Stopped here for lunch after the Colosseum and so glad we did! Every thing we ordered was delicious, the cocktails (we got aperol spritz and the coming out spritz) were amazing, but the highlight of our visit was our amazing waiter. Highly recommend!
Stepped in for a nice dinner, but left all disappointed. Pizza was average, “french fries” nothing to be amazed by, but the awful part had to be the chicken, no favour, not even salt, the sauce that came with it it was pure colores oil, such a letdown to be honest. Not very much recommended.
Nice partial view of the coliseum. Plentiful outdoor seating. Large menu of cocktails and food options (didn’t try the food though). The staff is very friendly and efficient at getting orders out. Prices are a bit cheaper than usual and cheaper than the gay bar next door. Music was nice and there were drag queens dressed up. My drink was prepared well.
Fun, welcoming, and reasonably priced joint just steps from the Colosseo along Roma's "gay street". While the street is only 300 meters long, Coming Out is...
This is a gay (male) bar located right next to the Colloseum, but they are welcoming to all people! You can get a photo of yourself in front of the bar with...
