La Purísima in Mexico City's Centro Histórico is a lively spot that blends creativity and inclusivity in a way that draws in locals and visitors alike. Its eye-catching decor features neon-lit religious icons, mirrored walls, and a cheeky homage to Catholic motifs, setting the stage for a night that’s anything but ordinary.
The playlist here is as diverse as the crowd, spanning house, pop, and Latin beats that keep the dance floor buzzing well into the early hours. Crowd favorites like Gloria Trevi sometimes make an appearance, giving the party a nostalgic twist. It's a space where energy runs high, and everyone is welcome to join in.
Located at Calle República de Cuba 17, the venue is a breeze to find, conveniently reachable via Metro Allende or Metrobús República de Chile. The atmosphere heats up as the night progresses, so it’s smart to arrive early if you’re keen to avoid the queues and grab a prime spot.
With its central location, dynamic vibe, and a crowd that’s as eclectic as the city itself, La Purísima has become a go-to destination for those looking to dive into Mexico City’s vibrant nightlife scene.
If you are looking to mix with prehispanic, authentic indigenous people, this is the perfect spot. Amazing place for an anthropologist or and archeologist. Here you can see last surviving gay Australopithecus. If you love mingling with the service, this is the place. Plus this place is in neighborhood where if you look like an evolved human being, you'll get kidnapped for sure.
If you’re a foreigner, I WOULD NOT recommend coming here. This place is mostly for locals, who will try to steal your drinks. The security guard even accused me of stealing a phone and searched my bag in the middle of the night!
Visiting from US. Went at 10pm on a Saturday. It was rammed. Everyone was carrying beer buckets, tons of girls (which is fine, but several were very pushy moving through the crowd). Took a long time to get a drink. I had to leave. Will give it another go next time.
The best night club in the city with friendly atmosphere, great music, welcoming staff, affordable prices, and amazing people to dance with! The only thing that bothers me is overlyloud music, have to use earplugs to keep my hearing safe.
Had a really good night here, friendly staff and a decent crowd. Music very mixed from Spanish chart stuff to A-Ha. Interesting and cool design. Came on a Thursday night, no cover and was 40MXN for 2 bottles of beer. Got really busy but I still felt safe and everyone was having a good time. Definitely worth a visit
This is one of my favorite places to get drunk, the atmosphere is really good, if you dont like Reggaeton this is your place because the music is focused in pop, the true is that this place is already for whole peolple and whole preferences, with the time it has been losing the exclusivity for gay people.
