Le Baroque is a cozy gay bar nestled in the heart of Brussels, just a short stroll from the iconic Grand Place. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, it has become a popular spot for bears, their friends, and admirers. The bar embraces a ""Bear Spirit,"" which emphasizes an attitude of balance between trendiness, fashion, and non-conformity.
The interior is intimate, often leading patrons to enjoy their drinks outside, especially during warmer months. Despite its size, Le Baroque boasts a vibrant ambiance, with colorful ceilings and walls adding to the fun. On weekends, DJs spin a mix of club classics and pop music, and they're usually open to requests.
Le Baroque operates daily from 5 PM, except on Tuesdays when it's closed. Happy Hour is on Wednesdays from 5 PM to 7 PM, offering a great opportunity to enjoy drinks at a discount. The bar is located at 44 Rue du Marché au Charbon, making it easily accessible for both locals and visitors exploring Brussels' gay scene.
La Baroque will not make you Baroque as the drinks are well priced and the vibe is fun- this place makes you want to stay all night! Everyone is kind and caring and it felt so good and inclusive! Good job, humans!
Wandered in on a recent visit. Tariq was the bartender. Friendly, welcoming and attentive. Beer was reasonably priced and the bar had a good atmosphere. Clientele seeped a bit cliquish but not rude or standoffish.
This was a great bar to hang out in for a bit. It has really fun decor and the bartender was friendly and helpful. We just had beer, and it was great....
Great beer selection! Very friendly staff and very small space! The location is great as well. Live DJ was spinning. This spot is known for being a bear...
