Paco's Ranch, nestled in Puerto Vallarta's lively Zona Romántica, has been a cornerstone of the city's gay nightlife since its inception as Club Paco Paco in 1989. Located at Ignacio L. Vallarta 237, this venue is renowned for its dynamic drag shows and energetic dance floor. The club's interior blends modern design with traditional Mexican flair, featuring vibrant murals and rustic accents that create an inviting atmosphere.
Nightly happy hours from 10 p.m. to midnight offer reasonably priced drinks, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors. The club stays open until 6 a.m., catering to night owls looking to dance into the early hours. Regular drag performances showcase talented entertainers, with shows typically starting around 12:30 a.m. and a second show at 3 a.m.
Paco's Ranch holds a special place in Puerto Vallarta's LGBTQ+ history. Its founder, Paco Ruiz, was instrumental in advocating for the community's rights, influencing local perceptions and contributing to the city's reputation as a welcoming destination.
The club's location, just a half block from other popular venues like CC Slaughters, makes it a convenient stop for those exploring the area's vibrant nightlife. With its lively ambiance, diverse crowd, and commitment to inclusivity, Paco's Ranch continues to be a must-visit spot for anyone seeking an authentic experience in Puerto Vallarta's gay scene.
Be very careful—they overcharge for drinks when paying with your credit card without making you aware of it. For example, a beer is normally 60 pesos, but I was charged 400 pesos for one beer when I payed with a credit card.
It is a gay club with a sense of stability. The clientele is a mix of mostly LGBT people but with some female customers as well.I enjoyed a good quality drag show. Shows start at 0:30 am and 03:00 am.A good place to end the night in a relaxed but fun way. Although if you want to have a morning wildly cruising, you might better try something else.I like this place.
One of the best drag shows I’ve ever been to! The selection of songs for the lip syncs were amazing! The drags queens are funny and they interact with the audience. The Jell-O shots are bad lol don’t buy them.
Good local hang out spot. There's a drag show and then the dance floor opens up. The service is relaxing and relatively prompt. I really liked it there especially after hours when everything else is closing down. There is a 50 MXN cover earlier in the evening but you get a band to return anytime you want to. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Romantic Zone.
The place is always BUSY!Show times 12:30am and 3am, you gotta be there early for a good place/ seat doors open at 10-10:30pmThis las time i visited was a little bit of boring,And I agreed with 3 of other friends about this; They performed mostly 80/90s artist.Theres a $100MXN cover which is good and affordable. Beer prices average for the zone.
