Great bar for billiards and drinks. Love the programming as well! Bingo with Bebe Brunges on Tuesdays is a must for laughs and drinks. I think I've won a prize 3 out of the 5 times I've been. Plus the bar men are hot and friendly 😀

Best gay bar in toronto; bar has pool tables, plenty of seating, jukebox, Friday, Saturday has a dj with mostly top 40 and retro music; good quality beers on tap! No dance floor! Large video screen for music videos! Darts, pool, table hockey, ping pong and video games available! This is a chill relax bar! Tuesdays, has bingo, Wednesday amateur drag show and Friday Saturday live dj with awesome music and sound! My favourite bar in toronto!
Definitely one of my favourite places in The Village! Very chill vibes, friendly staff and great variety in clientele; all ages 19+, and diverse crowd. There are three pool tables in the back, a giant Jenga tower, table tennis and a shuffle board for entertainment. Usually the waits to play at a table aren't long, the longest I've waited is 30 mins. There is no kitchen here, but snacks are available behind the bar and they also allow you to bring in food off the street.
i felt personally targeted and racially profiled by this place. Upon paying my bill and exiting, i was aggressively stopped and accused of not paying which as anyone can imagine was humiliating and felt as if an attempt was made to publicly shame/embarrass me. They then clarified that there was a glitch in there system but very little accountability was taken on their behalf
I come every week for the Drag open stage! Not only are the hosts amazing but the bar staff is so nice and I always feel welcome! There is pool and games on the T.Vs and I highly recommend going to Pegasus for a fun time!
As an older guy I find that there are fewer places where I can feel comfortable in the village. This is one of those places. There is a good mix of down...
Pegasus is so lucky to have Simon! He's what makes my favorite Toronto gayborhood bar a five-star review. Walking in during hockey playoff season, it was...
“Are you smarter than a Scottish guy” is a fantastic way to end the weekend! 2 hours of general trivia, great crowds, affordable drinks and hosted by the amazing Simon
Are You Smarter Than a Scottish Guy? Trivia on Sunday nights - a lot of fun and the perfect level of challenging. Get here early for a table and pregame drinks!
Sunday’s trivia night (Are You Smarter Than a Scottish Guy) is a hoot! The night features great questions in fun categories - a great way to keep the Sunday scaries away.
Pegasus is an amazing bar. I come here every week to play pool, some Ping Ping and mainly for Are You Smarter Than A Scottish Guy (Trivia Night) every Sunday from 7pm onwards. It's is hosted by Simon who is amazing. 100% recommend if you love trivia.
We hit the pool tables around 6, and I gotta say, they were in great shape. But here's the thing – the beer or just the bottles had this weird weed-like smell, so we passed on another round. Later on, the place got pretty packed.
Great environment where everyone is welcome. Had some drinks with my wife and friends on Halloween night and it's an awesome place to hangout, shoot some pool, and get together with friends.
Visited awhile back and I gotta say, tables here play really nice, food and drinks were very cheap. Only downside is not a lot of space between the tables. Overall decent establishment!
Pegasus On Church is an absolute gem in Toronto's nightlife scene. The ambiance is electric, and the dance floor never disappoints. The diverse crowd creates a welcoming atmosphere, and the music selection keeps you moving all night. While some might find the drinks slightly pricey, the overall experience is worth it. The friendly staff and excellent service add to the allure of this club. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Pegasus On Church guarantees an unforgettable night out. Don't miss it!
If you are looking for a gay space to hang out in without too much prestige or fuss, then this is the space for you. It's a friendly and easy-going space that focusses on drinking & chatting (plus games). It's not a nightclub vibe so its a great space if you are looking for more of a local gay bar vibe.
From the perspective of a former employee, Pegasus isn’t a terrible place. However there were more than a few concerning aspects of working there. I won’t go on and on but I do wish them luck into the future and hope they can be more supportive for their employees. I don’t think they are Ill intended. But they are are well adjusted and I think they could cause more harm than good.
Very well maintained pool tables in a queer friendly environment. Some arcade style games, ping pong, and shuffleboard. There is a typically stocked bar on site with quiz games as well. A pleasant, low-key space for hanging out and playing games. Small tables are also here if people just want to hang out and talk. I have been to a variety of events here and found it very welcoming.
Giving 5 stars for the lovely bartender Adam, they were fabulous and so kind and quick. Made myself and my friends feel special and right at home. Great conversation and laughs
Very cool bar! They have a ping pong table and 3 billiards tables + what looks like slots machinesThe atmosphere is the right blend of lively and calm, I definitely recommend for a chill night out with friends 😊
This is a great go to casual spot in the village. Looming for billards or an arcade machine they have it in the back with seating in the front for casual...
My favourite queer space in Toronto! Best bartenders, friendly environment that’s judgment free and open to all, great pool tables and games nights like trivia and drag bingo. My go to spot!
This is a great place to go for a drink and meet friends... great ambience, feels like a local bar, very friendly... there are pool tables and other games... it's a lot of fun 😎they also play good music, there's a giant video screen and several other screens around the bar
A great and classy place!! Be sure to come on Tuesday for “Are you Smarter than a Scottish Guy”. Good looking bartenders. Friendly crowd. In the heart of the gay village
Wonderful spot with great staff. I play in a queer dodgeball league on Monday night's and appreciate that Pegasus gives us a place to come after to socialize as a team. Just the best!
Wow! My niece and I had a fun evening here while on holiday. Nice evening with tasty cocktails, pool, ping pong and Tuesday night quiz! The staff were all very nice, and we were so kindly included in the fun quiz that I think has mostly regular guests attending every Tuesday evening. There was such a friendly and cheerful atmosphere, and we were even given delicious home made cookies by one of the guests who shared them around the room. In short; a laid back and fun place to spend an evening!
I decided to hit up a low-key gay bar while in TO. I chose Pegasus and I wasn't disappointed - crowd is friendly and Daryl is super kind, polite. Drinks are...
This used to be a great bar with friendly strong bartenders, great music and atmosphere. Recently they've changed the entertainment to noisy TV shows (non-stop RuPaul and Survivor), and the staff are increasingly rude and not correct in their billing, with a particularly bad experience this weekend.
Such a fun place. Trivia with Simon (Are you smarter than a Scottish guy) is the most hilarious evening you will spend all week. Be sure to check this place out for pool, darts, ping pong , televised sports and great staff and good times.
‘Are You Smarter Than A Scottish Guy’ is the Best Trivia night in Toronto. Tuesday nights at Pegasus on Church. Simon is THE best host, even better than Alex Trebek was , may he rest in peace. And he is also moderately cute.
Pegasus on Church is my go to place to chill and feel welcomed. The staff here are all amazing. If you like trivia you need to come on Tuesdays for Are you smarter then a Scottish guy.
This bar is not just a watering hole! There are billiard tables, darts, shuffle board and ping pong tables available as well. Many groups choose Pegs as we lovingly refer to it as their meet after or for planning their events. This bar welcomes everyone, gay, bisexual, trans gender, straight etc. with open arms into a safe and inclusive environment. There is zero tolerance for annoying people that do not respect everyone's right to safe enjoyment. So if your in the neighborhood drop in and experience for yourself. Staff are also fantastic and many of them have been there for years which supports the inclusive safe environment.
Came here on a quiet Tuesday, and there was a trivia night on. The MC, Simon, was absolutely delightful and the place was chill, welcoming, and just generally a great way to sit back and enjoy the Village, especially if you’re a non-clubby but still lively environment. I came alone and immediately felt at home in the Pegasus
Friendly staff in a relaxed environment. Place to listen to music and watch sports, play some pool or gaming machines. From Trivia night to open mic nights, this place is a hub of Church Street. Thank you for many fun night, wild events and great cocktails
Great spot on Church street to hangout. The staffs are friendly. There are a lot of activities to choose from trivia, ping pong table, pool dart, and other bar top video games. They also host various nights like trivia nights with one of the bartenders.A welcoming environment where you can find a vast varieties of patrons of different background and generations. Definitely one of my favourite spot in the village to feel at home.
Pegasus is an amazing bar in the heart of the LGBTQ+ village. It is a nice open space with friendly bartenders and staff. There are billiard tables, e-darts and pinball. They also have many special nights which draws in people. My fav is "Are You Smarter than a Scottish Guy" Trivia on Monday nights hosted by Simon (who is also a great bartender). Definitely check it out!
Great bar, they have a lot of events like a quiz night on Monday and Bingo on Tuesday, you can play pool, shuffle board, darts or casino style slot machines as well as change the music using the mobile juke box app on your phone! Drinks aren't overpriced and they have great specials!
Beautiful and fun ,,, they're always nice and taking care of costumes so well, they have ping pong amd billiards tables so makes it more fun and most of times you're listening to good music ,,, one of the best place to hang out with your friends and laughing... also when they have Karaokes 🎤 you can shout more lol 😆
It is a real good place to have a couple of drinks and play pool or ping pong. Nice vibes, friendly staff and ice cold chilled beer. I will definitely go there again. It is also in a very lively location.
A great place to catch the Village Vibe in more tempered pace making it a great place for great, and easily heard, conversations! Aestheticly a cheerful pub look. Relaxing atmosphere, variety of drink choices, pool tables available to grab a friendly game with your friends, staff are friendly, clean facilities. Plays great music, often with the video on a big screen. Pre-C19 had Trivia and Bingo nights and hope they come back! Window seats available with a view of Church St. and watch the activity below. Though the entrance is right in front of you, you can easily miss... look for the red Pegasus logo and up the stairs you go!
Favorite bar in the village, very relaxed a chill. I first came in 2016 and they were hosting a bingo event. Very friendly bartenders and they make you feel very welcomed.
I come here once in a while and I always end up doing a bit of pool playing, then some trivia if I feel like it. I enjoy the video DJ playing some awesome tunes on the big screen and also good for people watching. I mean after all you are in the village and people are quite friendly. The pitchers of beer are decently priced and the service is outstanding. Just make sure you tip your gorgeous bartenders!!!!
I love this bar! Low key, casual and lots do do; shuffle board, pool, ping pong, darts and more. Drinks are reasonable and lots of seating. They have gender neutral bathrooms which is AMAZING, especially for those who know the difficulty public restrooms can pose. Great to meet up with friends, a date or just a night on your own.
This is a fantastic bar with at least 5 pool tables, and shuffle board at the back. Lots and lots of small round tables and seating up front. I haven't been here for a long time. It's a great prelude to go early or before maybe going to Woody's which is always packed Saturday night. No drag shows at Pegasus and they also have large TV screens for example Hockey games and music videos and good music!
Just had some of the worst service: bartender is showing vaykay pics to friends, eventually acknowledged me even though it's not busy; couldn't remember the...
Really fun bar. It's upstairs, the entrance can be easily missed. Big open space with large windows over looking Church St. The windows open up in spring and summer. Fun for people watching or being seen. Plenty of bar tables throughout the space. Bar staff is super friendly and make great drinks. There's a pool table and video games as well for entertainment. They have plenty of TV screens throughout the space. The days I was in town they didn't have anything specific going on. I did notice they had a number of performance and themed nights. Although on Church and seemed to have a predominantly male client it seemed open to all not just gays. Really enjoyed this place for happy hour. Wasn't crowded and the place was sunny. They even have free WiFi. Totally fun place.
I did not know that it was possible for SUCH a friendly, lovely place to exist anywhere. I swung by to Pegasus for a drink after a particularly long day of...
Newly renovated and cleaned up, three pool tables, darts, slot machines. Casual dance area, good music and good vibes. My particular waitress was very blase, but didn't bring us down. I'll be back. A fun place to unwind on a weekday night.
A pretty decent bar in the village, although the scene is not so much thumpin' and lively as it is casual and laid back, which is perfect in my book. The...
At 489 Church Street Pegasus is a gay bar located in the heart of Toronto's gayborhood. When walking the street you have to look for it because it is...
