Delicious and varied food, arrives quickly, reasonable prices, took a long time to wait for the table to be cleaned, beautifully decorated place, recommend!
Very lovely bar/restaurant. I spent a weekend in Athens and came back here three times. The staff are lovely, the head barman treated me to a few shots and admittedly I found one of the waiters to be really handsome lol. The Rooster wine warmed up is a treat and the food is very good value for money, try the veal burger and Rooster chicken salad.
Me and my boyfriend, Shane, stayed opposite here in a local hotel. We came here every day for a wind down/ drink/ food. Great food and great value. And gay friendly. While also attracting a cool mixed crowd but there was definitely plenty of gay guys hanging out, too. I would guess at least a few of the cute male waiters are gay 😉
Music was unnecessarily too loud not just there but the places next door. Otherwise would have been easily a 5!Still recommend and would return there. Friendly and efficient staff. The manager was also taking a look and making sure everyone was promptly served.Really great they just need to discuss the music issue with the other places around to make it more pleasant without the cacophony of mixed songs playing loud from every establishment.
Lovely gay(ish)/friendly bar on Agia Irene square in the city center/monastiraki/Aiolou area.Lovely servers. Good vibes. Great music. Good options as well. All-day operation, till 1am. Good fun. Loved the outdoor areas.
I fell in love with this place! Good quality food, nice decor and friendly staff. My waiter with a ponytail was bursting with positive energy and made my day! We both laughed so much! One of the reasons I will be back in Athens apart of catching up with the museums and beaches is this cool restaurant. I just love it!
I visited Athens twice and highly recommend. There is so much to see and do. The Greek have such a sense of hospitality and it shows at Roosters. There are two team members that really ensure that everyone has a good time - Tatiana and Stefanos at the bar are always working hard but ensure even if you are alone, you have a good time. Thanks for your hospitality.
Oh! Best fruit salad I’ve ever eaten in Athens! Greek yogurt, natural honey, fresh fruits - it was awesome. Croque Monsieur was perfect too. Portions were huge! It was very nice that the cats could sleep on the couch 🙂 Restaurant is good located, we spend great time 🙂
Super friendly staff, many guests and very good food. Lovely atmosphere!Had a Greek salad in the evening. We (me and my family) also eat breakfast here the whole visit for 5 days because our hotel/apartment with the same name had free breakfast here.I will definitely go back!
