Tucked away in Puerto Vallarta's lively Zona Romántica, The Palm Cabaret and Bar has been a go-to spot for live entertainment since 1999. This intimate venue, located at Olas Altas 508, offers a diverse lineup of acts, from drag performances to musical tributes. Over the years, audiences have enjoyed shows like "This Is Gaga" a tribute to Lady Gaga, and "I Want It All: The Freddie Mercury Story" celebrating the Queen frontman.
The Palm's cozy setting allows for an up-close experience with performers, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors. The crowd is mostly gay, but everyone is made to feel at home.
In 2024, The Palm expanded its presence with a sister venue, Coco Cabaret, situated just four blocks away on Calle Fco. I. Madero. Coco Cabaret features a larger seating capacity and high ceilings, accommodating more elaborate performances.
Whether you're in the mood for a drag show, live music, or a theatrical performance, The Palm Cabaret and its new counterpart, Coco Cabaret, offer a variety of entertainment options in Puerto Vallarta's vibrant nightlife scene.
Go See Hedwig and the Angry Inch at The Palm Cabaret!I've been a Hedhead for a long time, and was thrilled to see Jordon Carnegie take on the role of Hedwig at the Palm Cabaret. Jordon brings the energy, force, and incredible voice to life every week. It's a non-stop funny, poignant, and brilliant show! The humor and the perseverance are what we need today, and the music is some of the best ever written.Yoalli Guerrero really shines as Yitzak, and when she gets her part, she blows the audience away. The band is superb, and the staging and video material is incredible.Don't miss this show!
Came to see Escándalo on a Saturday night, hosted by Mamma Tits. Less than five minutes in and my cheeks were hurting from how much I was already laughing. Yes, the talent is there, the presence is clear, the voice is great, and Diego, her stage partner is incredible, But what was most impactful to me was Mamma Tits’ message of love and support to all of us, INCLUDING to ourselves. The woman has gone through stuff, and she was open to let us in on how she has found the path forward, which tonight was the gift I needed. I recommend the show to anyone looking for quality entertainment in PV.
This show was amazing from the intro act Celine to the finale of this show. If I did not know Freddie Mercury was dead I would have thought we just saw him live. The show with video, stories ,music and dancers told the story. A must see if going to downtown PV
While we have been coming to Puerto Vallarta for years, this was our first time seeing a show at The Palm Cabaret. We enjoyed it so much we watched another a few days later. The venue is smaller than some others we've been to, but is well laid out and feels pretty intimate. Drink service was efficient throughout the show. The sound system produced good quality sound, and while loud, was not overly so.Most days have 2-3 shows/day and they are posted outside the venue in an easy-to-digest format. Some shows sell out in advance, so we'd recommend getting tickets early if there is a particular show that you're interested in seeing.
We had a great time at the Abba show with the whole family! The Witch Please show was hilarious and so well done- highly recommend this venue. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful
Absolutely love the shows here. The other week I went to see Miss Conception, Beyoncé, Sutton Lee Seymour, and Butterfly. The live singing and comedy are incredible. Each of the acts are unique and if one isn’t your cup of tea, don’t worry, everyone is drinking vodka.Sit down, get your tip money out, and get ready for a good time. And yes you can pay for the drinks with a credit card, but don’t forget to tip. They work hard keeping us hydrated.
You absolutely must go to a show at The Palm Cabaret if you’re staying in Puerto Vallarta! We went to see Miss Conception’s “Tooned Out” and loved every single moment of her show! From her live costume changes to her comedic audience involvement and amazing vocals, we couldn’t wipe the smile off our faces 🤩
