Friendly people, good priced drinks, and high-quality karaoke singing.The biggest issue that I noticed was the quality of Wi-Fi here. Their router apparently can't support more than 10-15 parallel connections, so you to compete for a free slot. It is a problem only because there's almost no mobile data available at the main bar area (-2nd floor), so no Wi-Fi means no internet.keith forsyth

Rarely have we been to a pub with such a welcoming, friendly and fun atmosphere. My partner and I visited the Underground last Sunday early evening and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. It happened to be Karaoke Night led by Bruce who kept everyone laughing and attentive between songs. He’s a truly gifted moderator. The bar staff were lovely and very friendly to both locals and newcomers. Drew was exceptionally kind and chatty with us and went out of his way to make us feel at home. The Underground was one of the most pleasant and memorable gay pub experiences in ages and we’re eager to return.Kevin Thompson

Was in town for a few nights and stumbled upon this gay bar. It was a blast and the bear karaoke night hosted by Brucy was amazing!!! They sure made everyone feel welcome.Christopher Graham

Comfortable and inviting underground bar similar to company bar Manchester only cleaner and bigger. Retro cool sounds, more mature sexy crowd varied nights and fantastic bar staff. Was made very welcome. Thanks guys xMark Charles

Not been in for quite some time due to Covid, but popped in last night for a cheeky beer in the way home from work and lovely to see some familiar faces behind the bar (hello Brucie Boy!). Lovely basement bar in the heart of Glasgow. Friendly staff and always a smile to greet you! Will be back possibly this weekend. Trying to get my life back on track now the world is slowly recovering!Elvis Smith

Just drove 1 hour 30 mins to be refused a drink by the bar maid with the excuse we were to happy we must be drunk. We were stone cold sober never have I felt to humiliated but I tell you I will pass my comments to any decent person who agrees this is a disgusting way to treat another person. Life is to short to be miserable if you was my bar maid I would have you on a training course in how to deal with visitors. Clearly my money wasn’t good enough for you. I hope you get the sack as you are costing that business money clearly not effected by Covid like the rest of the world.Aimee farcon

Place is alright, not bad for a dive bar. Weird how the bartenders got into my relationship. With my partner, went with a few friends and he was smoking outside last night- they refused me service until he was there; weirdest situation of my life. I don’t need a babysitter mom. Thanks. Stay away if you like your privacy or don’t want to get your friends involved in your relationship. Awkward. Btw we are still together, nothing happened other drama by these folks.David Lepoint

VACATIONED IN GLASGOW 3YEARS AGO. SAW A SIGN THAT READ "UNDERGROUND", SO HAD TO CHECK IT OUT. EXTREMELYWELCOMING STAFF WHO INSISTTHAT ALL PATRONS HAVE AGREAT TIME. THEY MADE THISMAN FROM THE USA FEEL ATHOME. AS TRAVEL BANS ARE LIFTED, I HOPE TO RETURN TOGLASGOW, AND SEE SOME OFTHE MEN AT UNDERGROUNDTHAT MADE ME GLAD I WENTTO SCOTLAND!! As you enter, you might think you're entering a den of inequity however it's really not the case. Friendly bar staff and a really mixed crowd. Good DJ and a mini dance floor. However the place is a bit on the small side and can get a bit crowded and enclosed. Don't let that put you off, always had a fun timeKenneth M.

A dark, basement drinker with a decent looking pool table. Given the general older age of the crowd that were in you have to wonder if the music selection...Rob K.

Like the name suggests, this is a basement bar - every time I pass by it I end up humming Jamiroquai's Deeper Underground..I've been in here a few times...
