Thi Bar sits on Bui Vien Street in the heart of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, and offers a relaxed environment for anyone seeking a casual night out. This gay-friendly bar hosts regular live music sessions that feature local bands, giving guests a chance to enjoy Vietnamese pop alongside well-known international tunes. The interior has a simple layout with a modest stage area, bar seating, and a few tables spread around for easy conversation. The overall vibe is laid-back, and people drop by to unwind with a cocktail in hand or chat with friends. Staff members are generally warm, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the experience pleasant for travelers and locals alike. Visitors often appreciate the diverse crowd, as the bar tends to attract a mix of tourists and Ho Chi Minh City residents. Some nights include open-mic sets, letting amateur performers share the stage or showcase acoustic sets that vary the pace. The drinks menu features local beer and common cocktails, without leaning toward flashy presentations or high-end fusions. It is located a short walk from other popular nightlife spots, and there is an active street scene to explore nearby. Thi Bar opens daily and typically stays lively until late evening hours.
On our last evening in Ho Chi Minh City, my husband and I were wandering through the streets, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere, when we stumbled upon Thi Bar Saigon. The sound of live music drew us in, and we decided to enjoy a mocktail while listening to the incredible performance by the ✨️B.3.M band✨️. The energy, the soulful vocals, and the warm ambiance made it a perfect way to end our trip. If you're looking for a place with great live music, friendly vibes, and delicious drinks, Thi Bar is a must-visit!💥
I had an amazing night here! Went on a Friday, and the atmosphere was lively with great vibes. The live band was fantastic, playing current hits that got everyone dancing. A must-visit in Saigon!
The drink was good, not a lot of guests but the staff was not really able, to care about the guests. No eye contact, no smile. Our waiter was looking bored and a little bit grumpy. The seats inside are not cosy, only tables with high seats.Good for a drink if you don't want to talk to foreigners and don't want to be disturbed or if you're there with a friend to talk. Not my favourite place.Advice to the owner: put some cozy seats with a table and show the staff to handle foreigners
I usually go for the lgbt-themed night that they have every Saturday, and every time i go i always have a fun time. The live music bands are so nice, and they know the club classics, K-pop songs, new hits,… Sometimes they even have a drag show on.Prices are reasonable.
가볼만함It is supposed to be one of the old LGBT bars in Saigon. Small but live music band singing latest hit live was impressive. It was more crowded than other bars and clubs during the weekdays. Laid back vibes and nice decor. It is worth visiting for a drink or more. Cocktails are excellent. I recommend this place.
✅ Pros:1. Cheap liquor!2. Entertaining band!❌ Cons:N/ARating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Remarks:Really fun and cool place! There's this one REALLY CUTE waiter and just smiled at me so I got shy but smiled back lol
I went there on a Friday night and found the atmosphere really nice. There were live bands who were really great. I really enjoyed my time here dancing to the tunes of live band. The place has some really nice vibes.
Great bar. Came here for an after party event and the vibes were amazing. It was packed to the brim, full of people, but that’s what adds to the fun atmosphere. Live band was great. The music in between sets was great.
Four nights spent in HCMC, three of which we visited Thi Bar. Great Live Music venue with excellent nightly bands.Reasonably priced drinks and attentive and friendly staff. Great LGBT+ hangout. Good mix of foreigners and locals. Arrive before the band, especially at weekends as it gets busy!
Really loved this bar!Came here on a weeknight and enjoyed Noff Band playing an absolute variety of hits. Both the male and female vocalists had breathtaking voices and the band played very well too. Cocktails were good quality and affordable. Only complaint is that they close too early and not open on Tuesday.Look forward to visiting here again.
