I’ve been to Trixie before and enjoyed the atmosphere, but this recent visit was disappointing. We arrived as a group of six on a Thursday evening at 6:00 PM, planning to check out all the gay bars in town to celebrate my birthday. It was freezing outside, and we were the first ones there right after they opened. Despite the bar being completely empty, we were informed that only the main bar was open, which was fine—until they insisted that we pay for a mandatory coat service and wouldn’t allow us to keep our coats with us.It wasn’t the payment that bothered us, but the attitude of the staff. They were unwelcoming and made us feel like an inconvenience, which completely ruined the vibe. We all looked at each other and unanimously decided to leave. It was really disappointing, especially on my birthday, to be treated so poorly. We ended up going somewhere else, which turned out to be a much better choice.
Bouncer did not let us in, because some guys lied that we cut the line… we did not, we stood for 30 minutes waiting. They got in. She did not listen to us.Happy Pride
Cozy terrace with a wide offering of cocktails and beer on draft. The music was great, bartenders are friendly and welcoming. Sadly I did not get to see any drag shows.
Lovely tropically-themed LGBT bar. The bartenders are super friendly. There are dancing areas downstairs which weren't open by the time we were there before 11PM. Super affordably drinks. Great start to the night if you're looking for an LGBT bar earlier in the night!
Amazing bartenders, music is perfect, delicious cocktails, and an amazing atmosphere (plus a really cozy outdoor seating area, with a bar too!) RUN DONT WALK!
