This used to be a great bar before covid. Went in today and because I am not German I got told it was reservations only yet the bar was 75% empty and customers laughing when they heard this.Avoid completely unless you are GermanSo many better bars in the Yumbo !Given 1* as can’t give zero stars.

I have been going to Wundar Bar for over eight years as a non-German speaker and have always felt welcomed. The owner and the team are hardworking, kind, and compassionate, consistently making everyone feel welcome, even if they do not speak German. I have a great time, and thank you for your services. Keep smiling, boys; you are doing a great job! Having owned cafes, restaurants, and bars myself, I understand it is not an easy task to manage, lead, and entertain guests in multiple languages. Hard to believe that any non-German could speak highly of this place. I am English and the Owner refused to serve me and told me to leave. When asked why, the Owner simply said that he doesn't like me, and I should leave NOW. Plenty of other nice friendly, and better priced bars in the Yumbo. Just give this one a miss. I have witnesses who can confirm the treatment that I received. No, I hadn't been drinking elsewhere before I went here to meet some friends. The treatment that I received has really left a mark on me. Don't let it happen to you

Previous visits to GC, I never went here; but just came back from the island and visited this place a few times.Really enjoyed. They did a great Eurovision theme night twice a week which we went to on both occasions playing the ESC songs. Very good.Our regular barman was very friendly and charming. Long Island Iced Teas are strong, but soo good!

We came for Eurovision night and expected a party atmosphere instead it was just people sat watching Eurovision videos on a small screen. Maybe it was just a quiet night? Anyway the service was good and the beers were a good price.

DON'T GO INTO THIS BAR! They want to charge you for things you haven't consumed and the waiters and the owner are unfriendly and racist if you are not German or from neighboring countries. (Then why do they come to Spain?)We went a few days ago and we were 9 people. When asking for the bill, they added 4 cocktails that no one had ordered. The waiter would think we were drunk and would pay without looking at the bill, but no. The very angry guy told us to shut up and that we had to pay. Obviously they added those cocktails for no reason and we didn't pay for them. We told them that we would call the Maspalomas Local Police to fix the situation, at which point they let us go, because they know perfectly well that what they did was wrong.

Cozy atmosphere, our cocktails were yummy and the waiter friendly and quick. We are happy to pay 8,50€ for good quality cocktail, when you get awful cheap alcohol around in yumbo, but the ice quantity was huge and the cocktail itself sooo tiny.
