Colombian porn star convicted of murdering UK gay couple

LONDON, July 21, 2025 — A Colombian porn actor has been found guilty of one of the UK’s most horrifying double murder cases. Yostin Andrés Mosquera, 35, was convicted of bludgeoning Paul Longworth to death with a hammer and later fatally stabbing Albert Alfonso during a recorded sex session in their west London flat on July 8, 2024.

Prosecutors said Mosquera meticulously planned the crimes, conducting internet searches on murder methods, serial killers, decomposing bodies, and acquiring a chest freezer and spreadsheets of Alfonso’s bank details. After the killings, he tried to transfer £4,000 to himself via Alfonso’s account.

Two days later, he dismembered the victims—storing their heads in a freezer and dumping other body parts in suitcases near a well-known UK bridge. Passersby spotted him hauling the leaking luggage late that night. He fled but was arrested July 13 at a train station.

Chilling evidence included home video footage showing Mosquera naked and bloodied, dancing and singing after killing Alfonso—taunting him during the fatal stabbing with, “You like it?”

A jury delivered a unanimous guilty verdict after a retrial, rejecting Mosquera’s manslaughter plea (citing loss of control and blaming Alfonso for Longworth’s death). He now faces a mandatory life sentence, with sentencing scheduled for October 24, 2025.

Detective Chief Inspector Ollie Stride described it as “one of the most traumatic, harrowing murder investigations” he’s encountered. Crown prosecutors emphasized that the killings were “planned, premeditated and ruthless.”
