If you’re not into bears and old people, don’t come here. I was shocked when a young guy rejected me for a grandpa (like very old). But this is not the reason why I’m giving this a 3 star. This is for the old receptionist. I think he can still do better. Their branch is Shinjuku is better.
I highly recommend this place! I’ve been in Tokyo for a week and have already been here twice. The staff is friendly and respectful, and the building itself blends right in—you wouldn’t even know it’s a gay sauna! Admission is 3,900 yen, which includes a robe, two towels, and a large locker. The experience is spread over ten floors, each offering something unique. The lobby is on the second floor, with lockers on the third. The real fun starts on the fourth floor, which has showers, multiple onsens with different temperatures, a dry sauna, and a wet sauna. Everything is very relaxing, clean, and in typical Japanese onsen style. The fifth floor has a TV room (playing bear-themed content) with around 30 beds, a popular spot to unwind. There are also some dark common rooms that offer a fun vibe. The sixth and seventh floors have similar spaces, frequented by Tokyo office workers and bears, with very few foreign visitors.I spent the entire night here on my second night in Tokyo and enjoyed it so much that I returned a few days later. The guys are laid-back, and there’s plenty to explore. If you’re in Tokyo and looking to relax in a welcoming, unique atmosphere, I highly recommend this spot!
Visited this place on Friday nightPrice 3,900¥ for dormity room( can stay for 14 hour)Pros- A lot of space- acceptable gym tools for workout- accept all people- friendly staffs- good temperature(quite hot) for suana roomCons- kinda specific type of people if you looking for crusing place, mostly pudding fat shaped or senior to senile guys, less than 5% for gym or lean type body guys.- 3 bathtubs with 2 room temperature tubs and a 36-37c• warm but not enough for hot tub- Sun tan machine need to pay more 2,300¥/30min- Price is too expensive in my opinion, espicially for temporary used- Vending machine is broken, i lost 230 ¥ without any drink come out 🥲
The branch in Shinjuku is much better. The facilities in Ueno look older, the hot tubs are much smaller and the common rooms smell of mold. There were more guests in Shinjuku too.Aside from that, it's an ok place. There's free tea, hot and cold.
I loved this place. Very, very clean and safe. It was my first experience in a sauna like it, and I recommended it. As mentioned by other visitors, there are many "bears" (fat, old men), but you can also find young people.
