Arch Clapham is a fresh, fab spot in London's gay scene where it's all about good vibes and even better times. Arch isn't just another bar – it's a whole mood. Think of it as your go-to place for everything from a laid-back Sunday cocktail session to a full-on Friday night bash.
So, who's behind this cool hangout? Nieko and pals, who've got mad creds from their Soho days, decided to sprinkle some of that magic in Clapham. They've cooked up a spot that's got a bit of everything. We're talking a place that's part bar, part social club, and 100% awesome.
Now, let's talk happenings. Arch is serving up everything your social calendar needs. Fancy a quiz night where you can show off your trivia chops? They've got you. More of a karaoke star? Belt it out on Wednesdays. And for those who live for a bit of drag and bingo (because who doesn't?), they've got that too. Weekends? DJ's got you moving till the wee hours. And hey, if you're planning a bash, they're all about making it epic.
We had a great time. We celebrating our Christmas drink with friends and is just amazing. The decoration are so beautiful and every one make us feel so good. Safran was amazing and make us laught so much from the first moment we arrive

Probably the nicest LGBTQ+ bar in London. Clean and tidy. Reasonable prices and amazing Christmas decorations. Staff seem to enjoy working here. Highly recommended.
Always a great experience at the karaoke on a Wednesday night. Good atmosphere, intimate venue. Lots of laughs from our delightfully catty compere(!)Feels safe and friendly.
Love this place. Very nice LGBTQIA plus in Clapham with loads of activities throughout the week. Bar staff are fantastic. Chanel does a fab bingo and dolly diamond has great lipstick

Great music and staff. The vibe is always fun and people are approachable. Great to start your evening. They have some great DJs and entertainment too.
A lovely colorfull place, where you feel alive and perky. We could not jump high enough. I wanted to dance on top of the bar feeling like a Las Vegas showgirl! Two thumbs up!
We had an amazing time the atmosphere was electric worth travelling from east to south we would recommend this venue for free open minded people. I want to say a big thank you to James the bartender who looked after us. You made our time splendid.

This place is the absolute be all and end all. Hot staff, cheap drinks, lots of sun and can always find a fresh piece of meat to take home. What's not to love please. Slight warning, watch out for the toilet seats as loose as me

What a lovely evening! I had such a great time. The music was absolutely fantastic, but you know what made it even better? The security guy Jay! He was so polite and professional. I felt really safe and taken care of. I would definitely go back there in a heartbeat!
Really nice. Have not been there for a while but the vibe is great. Inclusive. Jay the security is amazing ensuring people know it is a LGBT place and let you come with your cycling outfit when you come to the arch cycling (helmet are allowed not on the head ✅). The music not too loud and mix of everything.Pizza food is served. But I didn't tried.
As a tourist from Paris, I felt welcomed by the bar and especially by the bar tender- Cameron- who explained the cocktails to me! I hope to visit again soon, a bientôt!
I always love going to Arch and during the week it's my go to place to catch up with friends whilst also playing the events they host. Quiz on a Tuesday and Thursday is drag bingo, who doesn't love a free shot! Pizzas from the local takeaway are amazing too. The staff are always happy and wonderful and recognise us as regulars too which always makes us feel good 😎. Best bar in Clapham, if not the entire area! Shout out to the manager Serena and Cameron/Jordan/Leo! 😚👏😍
as an eurovision fan myself, it’s rather not-so-often in the lifetime experience, that somehow my birthday also happened to be on the same day. i decided to reach out to book a table to the team of ARCH Clapham and I could not have been happier with the results! Serena is probably the best and most professional venue manager I have met until this point. We were offered a lounge where we could watch the performances, but also all sit together, as well as we were offered multiple rounds of free popcorn, and even got a birthday shot! I will recommend this place to absolutely anyone looking to do a similar celebration in the future. Me and my friends will definitely be back. Also a great deal for drinks with 2 for 12 until 8pm 🙂
I have been going to ARCH since it opened and it’s been a fantastic addition to the Clapham gay scene. They have excellent events on including GAYM night, hosted by the brilliant Mistress Benji, stand-up comedy, appearances from RuPaul’s Drag Race Queens and club nights at the weekend. Great cocktails too. Nieko has done a superb job with ARCH. Also the best karaoke night with Queera Lynn every Wednesday.
Disappointing experience. Booked a booth on Saturday via the website. Had confirmation email in hand. Got there and they had no record of a booking and made no attempt to sort it either. Just got placed outside on a cold, sloped bench and that was it. Not great for a birthday night out. Also no food on offer other than pizza. Went elsewhere.
One of my favorite queer venues in London! Super friendly staff and regulars. Cute venue with a happy vibe. Karaoke Wednesdays are super fun and lively.
An amazing place with quick bar service! The staff are wonderful (and beautiful) with a friendly manner. The selection of drinks is plentiful and includes beers, wines, and spirits. The bathrooms are clean and no queues. We actually came from two others bars and found this to have the best atmosphere and highest number of patrons. It made for an amazing atmosphere with a great selection of music 🙂
Review update. This place remains a great LBGBTQ+ pub.It serves great sizzling cocktails I eould recommend their "Arch Big C***" cocktail. IT Recently transformed into a bar with a club vibe. It has great music, and drag shows withthe best performers, Fridays Saturday they have DJ nights and gogo dancers.Visited couple of times before when it had food menu and it was yummy food. The first gay bar i have been to recently and serves bailey's and Irish style drinks. The service is good, bard staff are chatty and friendly. The toilettes are clean, with a fab and luxurious decor.this place really deserves the 5 stars, the ambiance is hot and the decoration pleasant and sophisticated.I liked it.
What a truly fabulous night at Arch Bar, you will absolutely see me again.I looked at the reviews of this place before visiting and cannot understand why you would give this bar any less than 5 stars. For me I could not fault it.A fully inclusive venue with amazing drinks, food and entertainment. It is an all round venue and prices are exactly as you expect for a venue of this calibre. We had a few starters to share which were all really delicious and we tried several cocktails across the night. The staff were all extremely lovely and made me feel at ease as soon as I walked through the door. Can’t wait to see you all soon!
