Good luck getting them to reply to an email or a contact form. I’ve been waiting over a month. So many follow ups too. Listings on Agoda and booking.com very confusing and state different room types with different names etc. website specifically states to get in touch if you want to ask any questions or need any help… but good luck!Poor customer service always sours the taste buds more than anything else.

PHOTOS ATTACHED which can clarify my review… I waited almost one month to write this review because I wanted the hotel to have an ample opportunity.I have EXHAUSTED every single method of communication with this hotel in an attempt to contact them regarding a stay here. I have sent 2 contact forms, 4 emails, I have messaged on Facebook and also sent (now) 5 instagram dms. I have even commented on Facebook and Instagram posts asking them to please respond to my attempts of contact and I have had absolutely ZERO response from this hotel on ANY platform. I live overseas in SE Asia and cannot make international phone calls with my provider, so the other 5-6 methods of communication made me think I’d get a response, but no. Nothing. I’m SO disappointed 😢 genuinely I am. I wanted to stay in this hotel so badly but unfortunately they just for some reason literally will NOT communicate with their customers. It’s my first ever trip to Europe as part of a celebratory holiday and I really wanted to stay here, so I am devastated that after almost a month of trying.. I just cannot get through to these people.Very sad.

I have been staying at this hotel on my visits to Berlin ever since 2012. It's a like a home from home. Always a pleasure to see the same staff and the owner. Nothing is too much for them. It's a great retreat with a good choice of different size rooms, and the breakfast is excellent.

I went in the queer Kiez tour by mal that they do every week hosted by the hotel. It was an absolutly amazing tour and I would recommend it to anyone! Wheter you know Berlin already or are visiting for the first time, you will for sure learn something, probably quite a lot. So beautiful to hear how entangled berlin and its queer history are! If you dont join the tour, you'll miss out, I swear!

We joined this hotels "queer tours for all" on a Tuesday (meant to be open "for anyone that loves queer people"). The interior space is beautiful, the staff is wonderful, and Mal our tour guide tailored an experience that we won't soon forget. We got to choose, as a group, 1 of 3 tours on offer and hang out with some locals who also joined for aprox. 2 hours.Mal made tons of recommendations for things to do, places to hang out or eat. The only downside is that we couldn't do all 3 tours! We highly recommend staying at this hotel and doing their Tuesday tour with Mal!

We went on the Queer History tour with Mal & Upsi that leaves from the Art Hotel Connection every Tuesday at 6pm. There were several options we chose from as a group and it was an amazing experience. Mal was a fantastic guide, very knowledgable and an excellent storyteller. We saw interesting places and art and learned about the amazing queers who imagined, built, and continue to maintain the cultural, political, artistic, and practical hearts of the city. I went on 4 tours during my visit and this was by far my favorite. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful experience! The location and service could not have been better. We hope the same room is available the next time we come to Berlin. It was the perfect “honeymoon” suite for us!! Breakfast was also outstanding. Thank you so much! Sean and Martin

Spacious, comfortable and quiet considering it's right in the middle of the gay Mecca of Berlin! The add on breakfast for just under €20/day is delicious and features fresh cooked eggs your way! Comfortable beds powerful shower and a quaint lift from 1910 to take you to the third floor! Very welcoming and posh!

Amazing location!!! So happy that I was able to secure the last room for my dates and at a very affordable cost. The workers were very kind. This is such a cute hotel. I did have some confusion where the hotel was when I arrived but I was able to find it quickly. The hotel is on the 3rd floor of the address. My favorite part was the room. I seriously wasn’t expecting the room to be so charming!

Art Hotel is such a great place to stay if your LQBTQ and seeing Berlin. The staff are amazing and so friendly. The rooms are so unique, no two are the same, and clean. Berlin itself was amazing but the Art Hotel played a huge part in making Berlin amazing. You are near multiple U-Bahn stations so you can easily get around Berlin, but you are in the heart of the Schoenberg district which has amazing clubs and bars all around. I cannot recommend the Art Hotel enough. I plan to return to Berlin and I know exactly where I'm staying next time.

This is a fantastic hotel to stay at if you’re gay and want to explore Berlin! Super close to the Wittenbergplatz U station and literally above not one but 3 gay establishments… ArtHotel Connection is a perfect choice! The hotel is clean, the rooms and comfortable with high ceilings, places to sit, and beautiful windows. What’s more, they actually refresh your room DAILY just like in the pre-Covid days!!Some small improvements we would love to see: better towels and AC!

Loved staying at the Art Hotel Connection. I was as only I Berlin for 1 night but I found the room and staff impressive. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I stayed in room 4. High ceilings and unique decor combined with fantastic interior design. I high recommend a stay.

Large, bright room that was nicely decorated. Comfortable bed, but I would have liked an additional pillow. Nice shower with plenty of hot water. Great neighborhood, just a short walk to the metro, and plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby. The bar downstairs can get a bit noisy, but we heard nothing with our windows closed.

A delightful place to stay at any time of year in Berlin. Comfortable, well located for public transport and places of interest, the team members made my stay a very enjoyable one that I hope to repeat too.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience at the ArtHotel Connection. We were simply taking aback by the beauty of the rooms and especially our room. We had an extra comfortable bed and just off to the side. We had a little sitting area with a couch and a coffee table. The couch could easily be a second bed if need be, and I slept on it more than once during our stay, because it was so comfortable to take a nap on.The room was beautiful in its spaciousness, large windows that let in all sorts of beautiful sunlight, and the views from those windows were out onto another beautiful building across the tree-lined street.Every detail in the room was something of interest, from the industrial light fixture hanging from the ceiling to the 7 ft. Ft gold frame mirror leaning against the wall, to the beautiful wide planked wood floors. Everything was just great. This hotel is located right in the heart of the gay district and we thought we might have made a mistake reserving a room in a hotel that's right above a nightclub, but we never ever heard the nightclub for the entire 13-day stay. In fact, it was hard to believe that it was as quiet as it was for our stay in mid-March.We also very much enjoyed the optional breakfast that was provided at an extra cost, but just steps from our room and very well outfitted with many favorite breakfast items including coffee, tea, eggs, pastries, etc.

My stay at ArtHotel Connection in Berlin was an absolute delight from start to finish. Situated in a very good location, this charming boutique hotel offers easy access to the city's vibrant attractions while providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets. The highlight of my experience was undoubtedly the fantastic host, Stefan. From the moment I arrived, Stefan went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and memorable. His warm hospitality and attention to detail made me feel right at home, and his insider tips on local attractions and restaurants were invaluable. The accommodation itself was cozy and stylish, with unique artistic touches that added character to the space. The room was well-appointed and impeccably clean, providing all the comforts of home and more. Plus, the complimentary amenities and thoughtful extras made for a truly luxurious experience. One of the things that stood out to me most was Stefan's willingness to accommodate my needs and preferences. Whether it was arranging transportation, making restaurant reservations, or simply offering a friendly chat, Stefan was always there to help with a smile.Overall, my stay at ArtHotel Connection exceeded all expectations, thanks in large part to the exceptional hospitality of Stefan. If you're looking for a unique and memorable stay in Berlin, look no further than ArtHotel Connection. I can't wait to return!

It is a very different unusual but interesting hotel. Parking for me was very easy as I found a spot right in front of the hotel. It is in walking distance to KaDeWe Department Store. Which saves you extra parking fees! The hotel was not visible at first sight. But that’s okay. The elevator to the third floor is very old school which I like. It’s a cool experience. The shower is very clean. I just didn’t like that i couldn’t sleep due to the party noise which I usually don’t mind but I had a long day and a long drive in front of me and needed rest. In the morning you can hear every step outside and the floors are queaking just a warning for noise sensitive people… but overall it’s cute.

Great hotel if your after something a bit different in the Gay area of Berlin.Great gay bar and nightclub on the doorstep and whilst that makes it a little noisy if your in a room on the street it was just a good excuse to go for a drink instead. (Wasn’t so loud on Friday/Saturday night that you couldn’t sleep but definitely could be heard)Hotel decorations are fantastic and the building is beautiful. Rooms are on the basic side but clean and has everything you need and for the price you really can’t complain!Breakfast was great - I didn’t prebook but was able to add on arrival.Staff were friendly.
