Me and my husband came back after 11 years just to be at this hotel again. I can’t understand recessions writing now happening 8 years ago. This seems not to be honest to the owners at all. It is like saying to your Ex what he did wrong 8 years ago. So boy i cannot take you serious at all.The venue is still lovely to us, the french breakfast lovely (luckily no american buffet) and the room spacious , modern and luxurious. Trust me i was traveling 68 countries so far and we just love the A&P.Regarding the massage:I am super picky on this one. I always ask about strong (!) massage and the masseurs said i should get massage from Mr Mathieu. You know what? Very good strong masseur, he studied massage and i do massage every day 90 minutes with him. So again if you don’t say what you want don’t complain the location. My partner likes medium strong and also his masseur is well trained and he does also daily massage with him. of course there are plenty shops in PP, but i haven’t found a cleaner and more professional place like here. Communication is key to everything…The sauna is clean, well maintained and well booked. The prices (for foreigners) are super cheap (Usd 10). Compared to Europe/USA a real gem. We are hotel guests therefore free of entrance.All in all i encourage the owners to keep there french classy style. Nothing to change. Nothing to compare with im PP.And if you guys want to moan, why not speaking to the owners directly? I really enjoyed the place and the overall ambiance of the hotel. It has a cool, beautiful, and very relaxing atmosphere. Even though I didn’t stay overnight, I had the chance to try their facilities, and I was truly impressed.The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and attentive. They made sure everything was comfortable and were always ready to assist, which made the experience even better. The entire area was very clean and well-maintained you can really tell they take good care of the place.I especially loved the steam sauna, dry sauna room, and the jacuzzi. Everything was perfectly prepared and so relaxing. It was a refreshing and soothing experience from start to finish.Overall, it was such a great experience. So clean, so good I would definitely come back again! ❤️Matthew McClellan

Detailing a story about 7 years old now, I came with a local who had drank too much before entering the sauna. The friend started to get weak and threw up, despite the “friend” of mine not being my responsibility of mine at all I decided to ask reception what should I do to help him. They then told me that I needed to purchase a room for 125$ USD a night simply because the boy had thrown up in the cubicle(which again, has more to do with the Khmer local than with me).At that time I was young and didn’t know better but now I’m 32 and writing this review to tell you. This hotel does some predatory practices. Sorry guys, that wasn’t cool and it was activating my justice sensitivity. 🙏don payne

Went to A&P for the sauna and a massage. Both of our massages were borderline bad that we didn't stay to go to the sauna. If you want a super oily rub with a nice looking masseur, you will be ok but if you go expecting a half way decent massage you will leave disappointed..o2xistlton lton

A little oasis in PPBrilliant hotel, such a friendly and obliging team of staff. Fantastic 4 night stay, trendy clean room serviced every day, great meals, beautiful pool and lounging area. Couldn't recommend highly enough. well done guys.. will see you all again.Stuart MJ P.

Only about Sauna: If you travel with your boyfriend it is ok. The bar/pool good beautiful design. About the Sauna: SUPER dangerous steps, men are always slipping,The sleepers are worn and slip easily. For the price they should consider installing a hydration station then people can drink water, with their price they only provide towels, condoms and lube yes. This place isn't for discreet men or action at all. It's more to socialize, for open men, looks like English conversational club for men🤣 I guess you have to spend some time talking before any action happens. A few mini-rooms only, middle age men and a little old, expats a little old. If you need ACTION and you are discreet you must be at HERO Sauna for young friends and real action 💦💦💦. I could say that it's kinda boring, if you try better after 20h with the discount.Daniel G. During

Went there yesterday with a friend and it was absolutely the worst sauna we have been to in a long time.Pros:Pretty decor and swimming poolEasy to find this placeCons:Went on Saturday evening and had about 8 guys totalThey threw ice blocks into the pool...why?Next door is under heavy construction so very loud and noisy.So dark in the sauna area ...I can slipped and tripped several timesVery very small sauna and exploring areaForeigners pay $10 usd. No water included.Overpriced and overratedIn conclusion: go to HERO sauna Phnom Penh and you will have a much better time.Paul Entwistle

Amazing place in the heart of Phnom Phen. If your a gay male visitor to the city you should definitely either make this your hotel or visit on one of the day passes (10€ foreginer, 6.50€ local).Our 5-night stay was perfect, if we hadn't already had an onward itinerary, we would have stayed another 5-nights!The complex and rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished, lots of polished concrete, greenary and pieces of art. The beds are very comfy with quality mattresses, sheets and pillows. A varied Breakfast is included, which you can enjoy in the restaurant or in your room.Great bathrooms with separate toilet, natural soap products, tooth brushes, combs, earbuds & shampoos replenished everyday by house keeping, along with bottled water/ tea & coffee.Bar/ Resturant in the ground floor serving, beers, banded spirits, juices, smoothies and cocktails as well as a good range of Khmer & western dishes.The staff are phenomenal, Gee/Gue/Guye (apologies if I've spelt his name wrong!) is exceptional, really made our stay, never seen anyone work so hard! The rest of the staff are friendly, talkative and speak good English.We had two 90 minute oil massages, with two different masseuse's, both great, highly recommended in clean, well appointed air-conditioned rooms.The pool area is beautiful and lush with plants and we enjoyed the music selection! There is some construction noise in the area, but this didn't effect the rooms and was not overly intrusive around the pool.The sauna/ steam room/ jacuzzi/ darker areas open to non-guests around 4pm and got much busier with locals around 8pm (midnight closing). We stayed Saturday - Thursday and each night (especially Sunday) was busy with locals and foreginers.The sauna/ steam room/ jacuzzi areas are very dark, darker than we are used to in the west and there are steps (check it out before dark) but once your eyes accustom, it's no problem. The jacuzzi, steam room & dry sauna are hot! Which is great and a change from the lukewarm temperatures you often find.Guests with ID can visit you room without charge if you like entertaining 😉The resort can arrange your transfers and tours and there's tut-tuts outside.Can't wait to visit again next year!Eddy Freyre

I think the negative reviews here aren't entirely fair. Price was around $6.50 before 8 PM, which is reasonable. The place’s not the most spacious, but not too cramped either. They have a pool, steam room, jacuzzi, among other amenities. It's actually brighter than some reviews suggest. However, be prepared for a crowd that might disrupt your relaxation by constantly coming and going, and standing around like they're judging the Mona Lisa. This isn’t the fault of the establishment, just something to be aware of. Minus one star for not providing complimentary water, as a sauna can leave you dehydrated.kissesbloody

The hotel is a little more expensive than others, but offers modern, large and clean rooms, very friendly and English-speaking staff and an excellent breakfast. The pool is large. Mixed crowd in the spa area in the evening. A large external fitness center is located near the hotel.Arjuna P

I used only the sauna facilities. What a huge difference from 5 years ago, when it was such a wonderful perfect place. Now it is rather seeing its age. First, there is price discrimination. At $10, it is steep, especially compared to the other French-run place: Men's Resort in Siem Reap, which charges $5 without discrimination. The deal breaker is that many things make it unsafe. The concrete floors are very slippery. There is nothing to absorb the water. Many well-run saunas use absorbent cloths and floor mats. Here, there is nothing but the concrete floors and stairs full of water. Walking up and down wet and slippery stairs in the dark is not a good idea. The cabins for privacy in the basement are also extremely unsafe. The “beds” are made of bare concrete and I almost shattered my head on a concrete block in the darkness. These should be made of wood and padded all round with cushions or matting. Cleanliness is not bad but since people are allowed to walk everywhere in their shoes, it can hardly be considered clean. Overall, a facility that has seen better days. Finally, and this is not the fault of the management, the surrounding environment is simply intolerable. There is constant construction of skyscrapers all around, even on Sunday. In fact, the construction noise is turned on double volume after nightfall. The loud music played does nothing to cover the construction noise. There will be no repeat visit for me. The disadvantages far outweigh any fun you might have here.TWM

One of my favourite long weekend places. Stayed many times and always a great break. Rooms are comfortable with good beds and all facilities needed. Beautiful pool and best of all it’s clothing optional and men only so you can relax naked, socialise and enjoy some great food and drinks. Sauna open at night to the public so can get quite busy with lots of locals looking for a good time in the sauna, steam or jacuzzi.
