The room smelled like a pack of cigarettes when I first came in. There was no glasses for the rooms. My minibar was empty besides a complimentary tetra pack of water. The shower was defect, every time I would use it the rainshowerhead would drip on me. The entire hotel is like a ghost place. There is barely any staff of sight. Most services if there is and are remote. The customer service is horrible, the hotline employees are rude and just hang up on you. They say they’ll call you back and then never do. The spa area was disgusting! The whirlpool smelled terrible and the sauna was never properly cleaned. The water dispenser in the gym also never worked! Breakfast was ok but no gluten-free options. This is not a wellness hotel, they didn’t provide a robe or slippers. Most of the time there weren’t even enough towels for the „spa“ area. This is barely even a hotel, there is barely any staff of sight. So don’t expect to be taken care of while you’re there. Most of the employees work part time or minijob. The reception is always empty. I do not recommend coming there expecting a hotel/ wellness hotel experience.

- The hotel was booked under the name TWO Hotel Berlin by Axel, but I only found out it had been renamed after checking on Google and arriving at the property.- It is a completely self-check-in hotel — you cannot enter without online check-in. I waited outside in the cold for over 10 minutes.- Self check-in is not available for bookings from small third‑party websites or travel agencies. I had to call or message the staff via WhatsApp; the phone line was often busy, and I tried 5–6 times before getting through. Overall, a very inconvenient check‑in experience.- After check-in, room access is convenient: you can use the webpage as a digital key to open the door.- Cleanliness is average: there were cobwebs in the public lobby area, and the towels in the room were stained.- Heating works fine, and the room size is acceptable. The street‑side room is not noisy.- Location: 5-minute walk to the subway station; 30–40 minutes to the city centre.- Services must be selected online: breakfast €17, cleaning service €5. I declined both as they are not good value.- Check-in: 3:00 PM, Check-out: 12:00 PM.-Overall, this was originally a three-to-four-star hotel, but it’s now poorly maintained. It would be acceptable only if the price was low.

Good clean room and reasonable for what you pay. If you are confident using public transport this is a very good option as the U9 runs from down the road. However; There were constant noise issues from other guests running and shouting up and down the corridors, weed being smoked in the door way to the hotel, the whole place smelling like cigarettes. The staff we did interact with were very hit and miss. Very accommodating over the phone but in person most of them had very little customer service skills. The breakfast is an absolute rip off. We pre-booked it to make our overall stay easier however the options are subpar, poorly cooked and not replenished by most of the staff. One morning it was completely empty and the worker just stayed behind the bar. The juice machine was broken for 3 days of our stay with only the younger man offering us juice from a decanter on our last day.The sauna was a lovely addition however this space suffers due to lack of onsite staff. Many times people would be in after hours or not following the sauna rules making for an uncomfortable and noisy experience. The gym is okay for a hotel gym.Overall this hotel is okay if you can get a deal and don’t have the breakfast but I would not recommend to anyone

A bit out of the way, but its a long stay hotel. No check in desk so theres always a technical difficulty, I would suggest booking through homaris, not through a third party to avoid any struggles. Theres not really too much nearby to be honest I did find a gem of a Chinese restaurant 20 minute walk north, nice room, very spacious and private

location was so bad and noisy- wasn’t near anything. the self check in was difficult and felt unsafe here someone tried to get into our room while we was out - (the front doors to the hotel were open the whole time so anyone could have come in and with no staff at the desk no one would even be aware)… they moved us room but only opposite the previous room which felt pointless? eventually got moved again as the room they put us in was not what we’d paid for at all. the manager was very rude when talking on the phone. the bar up top says it’s open at night but it’s literally open for about 2 hours in the morning and the one person who worked in there didn’t speak any english. and the tvs in all of the rooms didn’t work…the only good thing about the hotel was the sauna and jacuzzi.

On arrival, check in was complicated and took 35 minutes to get access to the room (nobody works the reception, WhatsApp is AI until you confuse it) TV didn't work in the room, 3 days and countless AI chats/ calls later, it was replaced. Room safe never worked (not sure why they couldn't repair at the same time as the TV)Room/ building lock operated by your phone as long as you're online.Room cleaning is extra charge if staying under 7 days. No clean towels provided.Disappointed 😞

If I could give lower than one staff for service I would. Not only us but every other customer in the week we stayed there had trouble checking in, as they have made the genius decision to remove all on site staff in favour of a phone number, which is all well and good if the system works. But that number must get called all the time because nobody ever gets the correct information to check in and you can't talk to anyone at the vacant reception desk or the ghost town of a bar. Obvious cost cutting exercise without any regard to customer experience.Rooms were shoddy too, with low quality duvets and broken curtain rails. Lights were temperamental and often didn't work too.

Hotel is in a great location, public transport very close by. The hotel was nice I liked the idea of a self check in service. We really enjoyed the spa and jacuzzi. Beds were comfortable and the room was nice. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Pretty good for what you pay, has a mini spa with a jacuzzi and a sauna, rooms are nice, although walls are a bit thin so you’re hearing people on the hallways easily, not a big deal, our problem was getting woken up in the morning by the cleaners ringing our doorbell even when checkout was still a couple of hours away, anyways pretty decent

Dont go there. Its located directly at a super noisy big street. No personal staff available at reception so no one is there for you when you face issues. My room was noisy from the big street and even worse smelled like mold and cold smoke. For all inquiries you need to text with them on whatsapp or try to call. The blankets are super light and not warm. It is november and they still have summer blankets on the bed!If you have the chance dont book that accommodation, you will find mucj better value for money. It is one of my worst hotel experiences. After a room change same night was not possible i asked for a refund and cancellation of my booking. They denied and offered me a 15% discount only.

Great hotel, very hassle free with check in and access to the roof top bar, adequately placed asThere is a metro station that takes you into the city. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Will be booking again very soon!

Spacious and bright room with comfortable beds and a modern bathroom. Great location and fast customer service. The code system works very well – perfect for an unmanned reception. Highly recommended!

From start to finish, my stay was extremely disappointing.• Booking: Reaching the hotel was chaotic, with repeated unanswered calls and long waits.• Room: Despite a confirmed booking for a double room, I was downgraded to a tiny single room.• Facilities: TVs didn’t work (already broken weeks earlier), the advertised restaurant, bar, and rooftop were closed except for breakfast, and my room didn’t even have a chair until I complained. The manager’s dismissive replies (“did it say these facilities were open?”) made things worse.• Check-out: Even requesting a bill turned into hours of waiting, despite my legal right to one.Overall, misleading advertising, poor service, and unprofessional management. I cannot recommend this hotel.

This hotel shows its age, shows it's wear. Cleaning is every third day, and is the bare minimal. For an 8 night stay, on day 6 the glasses in our room wasn't even replaced. On site restaurant offers buffet breakfast. Exact same offering every day for 8 days. 1 'speciality' drink, so after the first cappuccino, you pay for each. The baked beans are either reused, or not popular at all, as they look stale each day - but apperently not enough to change the offering? The 7th floor is then locked to the elevator for the rest of the day - note, no cocktail bar as the listing proclaims.

The only good thing about this hotel is the sauna. Otherwise, it’s pretty much every worst German stereotype.-the woman at check-in made me use an iPad to self check-in, while she watched me-extra charge for room cleaning service!-give me the wrong room type (booked king, given twin double)-AC did not work well-extremely rude, passive aggressive man knocking on my door 15 minutes after 11am while I was finishing packingSeveral third-party websites list this hotel as the “TWO Hotel Berlin By Axel Adults Only” - it has changed ownership and is NOT a gay hotel. Saw multiple families, and there were children lingering outside.I would avoid staying here again. There are much better hotels in Berlin.

Since the first day I arrived at this hotel, I haven't felt comfortable. The room was hot. I turned on the air conditioning, but it was blocked. I went to the reception desk to talk to her, and she explained to me that not all hotels in Germany use air conditioning. It was a lie. It almost gave me asthma; I'm allergic to heat. It's the worst stay I've had in Germany. The one who works at the front is incompetent. She only knows how to lie. Afterwards, she wanted to charge me 20 euros for breakfast, and five euros for the Housekeeping to clean my room. The best thing that can happen now is that there is a lot of communication on the Internet and one can express themselves in the manner, and in such a way that you are treated by this type of incompetent person who should never work.

The room was clean, but air conditioning and fridge didn't work, we reported the fridge but nothing improved. Lots of technology in the rooms, contactless entry and bathroom mirror with Bluetooth. The rooftop restaurant where breakfast is served is lovely with amazing views over the city, but only open for breakfast. Why it is not open any other time was a mystery as it has a fully stocked bar, it would be stunning at night.Up the side streets from the hotel there's plenty of lovely little bars and restaurants

This place is fantastic. The rooms are clean but and perfectly designed to serve their purpose – providing a comfortable space to retreat to after a day of exploring Berlin. The sauna, though compact, is a wonderful addition that I thoroughly enjoyed. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Berlin.

Stayed last year when it was Axel and it was excellent.Changed brand & it’s now really poor.Room is small, now only offered limited service. No daily clean, we were told we would receive one but it never happened. When we enquired it was shrugged off.Breakfast is really poor & rude service.Room safe not working, door deadbolt not working either - reported and neither fixed during stay.Spa area now changed to limited hours.

It’s a scam hotel! Dont ever go there since the new.owner took two hotel by Axel he changed everything for the worst! While driving in from Maastricht they send WhatsApp (yes you read that correctly) that they sold the room we paid in fully in advance ( what was before when you arrive) but not reaching out to the person. Who made the reservation. It was this Easter so no affordable hotel to findn after driving from work no sleep etc 6 hours to find out you don’t have a hotel and they were so. Rude and didn’t care about their customers plus they try to keep the money what made it that fhey break laws

Wow, I didn’t expect to enjoy my stay the way I did. The hotel was very comfy and perfect for my solo stay. I honestly cannot fault it.The only issue I had was being locked out of my room with my access card while I was still staying there, but reception solved that problem immediately and I was back inside.

We really enjoyed our time in this beautiful hotel. The room was comfy and cosy and clean. The service, especially the receptionist Catalina, was attentive and knowledgeable: she provided lots of information regarding Berlin and transport which helped us organise our trip.I used the gym and I liked it, even if the floor was quite slippery, but it was clean and well organised. However, the only down thing was the breakfast which had a little choice of pastries. It would be better to have each item labelled correctly: few items weren't or were labelled wrong, for example the walnuts labelled as almond and another jar with some sandy thing inside without label.

I had a very bad experience at Homaris Side Vest Hotel. The staff was extremely unprofessional. I understand that checkout is at 11 AM, and I even informed them via message that I would be 20 minutes late. After 25 minutes—so just 5 minutes after the delay—the receptionist, Catalina, came to my room and directly opened the door without knocking properly. I was naked, and it was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional.I could have accepted if she had just knocked or clinked the door after 5 minutes, but to open it straight away? That crossed the line. The only positive note was one young man from the team (unfortunately, I forgot his name Gonzlo ?)who was always polite and professional. Sadly, the rest of the staff, especially some of the women at reception, were quite disappointing.I definitely do not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

Firstly if you expect a good rest the pillows are Terrible and if you want to have a jacuzzi in the morning you cannot it only opens at 3:00 p.m. lastly I needed my card reconfigured and a mannamed Gonza did not even check my ID that I was in my room Sulphur security reasons I'm warning people that anyone could get a card reconfigured by this guy because he doesn't even verify that you are in that room

The single rooms are quite small but they’re nice and the bed is very comfortable. My only complaint is that you can hear everything in the hallway (doors slamming, people talking that can go late into the night). Also I can hear everything from the neighbors above me to the neighbors beside me — when they shower, open drawers, flush the toilet. It’s a bit irritating when trying to sleep.

I stayed at this lovely hotel for 4 nights recently and was very impressed with both the standard of the accommodation and the friendliness of the staff. Room 214 was spacious enough for this sole traveller; a very comfy bed, a hotel TV that actually worked (!) and a good bathroom. The breakfast room is on the top (7th floor) so you have good views across the (rain swept!) city. The breakfast selection is great, from Continental to cooked. There is a Ubahn station just a few hundred metres away on the number 9 line. Kurfurstendamm is a 15 or so walk away.Highly recommended.

The phrase couldn't swing a cat has never been more apt, the rooms are the tiniest rooms I have ever stayed in at a 4 star city hotel they would be fine as a single traveller but if your in them as a couple it's crampedNo drink making facilities, no ironsRooms were cleaned each day which was a plus but also a negative when you come to leaveSo you have to pay a security deposit of 150 euros when you arrive apparently in case you smoke in the roomOn leaving we were told we had used the mini bar as they had noticed during cleaning each dayWhich was completely false they couldn't tell us what we had drunk but we had definitely used itI wonder how many people have been overcharged I bet lotsShe then said she wouldn't refund deposit until housekeeping had checked the room laterOhh yeah that housekeeping that said we had used the mini bar yeah I'll leave Berlin without my refundDefinitely only 4 star due to having a gym and a poolSo I'll be clear there's lots of hotels in Berlin I'd probably find another

We recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The ambient was excellent, and the overall atmosphere was calm and inviting. The hotel's attention to detail and warm ambiance made it a truly relaxing escape. Despite the smaller room size, the comfort and cleanliness exceeded expectations. The combination of excellent service, a peaceful environment, and delicious breakfast with a scenic view made our stay unforgettable. The variety and quality of the food were top-notch. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Aianne, the receptionist, who went above and beyond to assist with any questions or requests. Lovely girl indeed. Also, the girl from Iran working in the restaurant was kind and attentive, making breakfast an even better experience. The hotel's spa and wellness facilities added an extra layer of relaxation to our stay, offering a perfect place to unwind. Additionally, the amazing scent throughout the hotel created a refreshing and calming atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience. Every detail, from the ambiance to the amenities, was thoughtfully curated to ensure a peaceful and rejuvenating stay. Overall, a wonderful stay with great service, and we would highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed beginning of September. I had a junior suite which was a nice size to accommodate my large suitcases. The decor is pleasant and the bed and shower was good. Two things that need attention / improvement. They provided me with coffee cups, packet coffee and tea, milk, sugar etc but no kettle to boil water and make the coffee/tea. I requested but did not get one and had to go up to the restaurant to make my own tea and had to argue with the staff as to why I didnt need to pay for this.Berlin had a very hot summer this year. I stayed in Berlin many times in the past 3 months and the Axel hotel was my last stay and my first time to stay there. It was hot, my room like a sauna, even if I opened the windows (which was right on the street so pretty loud). I asked for a fan which helped a little but not much as it was really hot. They have a fancy aircon display but sadly it doesnt work. I read in many reviews that people complained about the aircon but it seems its something they cannot fix. Rather not have it than have one that doesnt work! and do something about it! Its getting hotter due to earth warming so aircon will be more needed.

I recently stayed at Axel TWO in Berlin and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel was impeccably clean, from the lobby to my spacious and comfortable room. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The reception staff was particularly welcoming and knowledgeable about the city. They provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and restaurants. The rooms were well-appointed and offered everything I needed for a comfortable stay.I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Berlin. It's a fantastic choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Terrible experience. Smallest rooms I’ve ever seen in a 4 star hotel. Out of the 5 days I stayed I only managed to get my room cleaned once even though I left the sign on my door every day. I had to find the cleaner specifically to ask for the cleaning. The AC is centrally controlled, and it did no cooling whatsoever. Woke up sweating in the middle of every night. Very uncomfortable rooms overall with no chair/sofa/smart TV etc. I asked for a fork from the reception on two days, and although the hotel has a restaurant, they weren’t able to give me one so that I could eat my take away. Really poor facilities.

We enjoyed 3 nights. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and the facilities good. But… we paid for a king bed but were given a room that had two singles pushed together - making it quite uncomfortable in the gap if you like to snuggle up with your partner. The AC didn’t work very well. The hotel is a little far out from the more bustling streets of cafes and bars. Some may like this (and I typically enjoy it a little more quiet) but it was just a little far for us.If their rooftop restaurant/ bar had been open this might’ve changed our review. But despite the posted hours and the hotel reception saying it was open, it was closed up on 2 evenings that we tried to get in at around 7/8pm.Overall a good stay, but I would look for somewhere else on a return visit.

This place was alright. The sauna is really pretty cool- very convenient to check out some of the other guests and maybe have a little fun. I'm glad I sprung for the junior suite because I seen one of the regular rooms which was like a windowless closet with barely enough room for the double bed. Okay here is the problem I had- 👏YOU👏 CAN👏 NOT👏 MAKE👏 ONE 👏DOUBLE👏 BED 👏BY 👏PUSHING 👏TWO👏 SINGLE👏 BEDS 👏TOGETHER 👏 I wanted a room with a double bed and this room had literally two beds pushed up together have u ever had a bed that keeps splitting in two down the middle? Ridiculous guys get it together

Amazing stay, watch out for the deposit. The positives of this hotel: This hotel is clean, full of useful facilities and has really friendly staff who were always there to help and made sure we were comfortbale. The hotel was easy to find and with the help of the amazing public transport, we could get around the city, with ease. We would definitely stay here again. The entire stay, the hotel remained clean and fresh, high tech rooms, amazing shower and it was so lovely to be able to open the huge windows for lots of fresh air. The beds were super comfortable. The rooms were spacious and had a nice mini bar.Two things that could be improved on that would have made our stay a 5*: that the AC is in our room as well as our friends' room, barely worked. Granted, we visited when it was 30°+. However, if there is going to be air con, it would be great if it worked properly. The deposit of €130 really caught us out. I'm sure it's written somewhere that it needs to be paid, but myself, my partner, friends and a lot of other guests checking in were all surprised by this. The hotel assured us that our refund would be issued if no issues were found or any problems after our stay. However, the transaction was pending for an entire week agter our stay. We did contact the hotel to ask when they would take the pending transaction first(which is controlled by the company) in order to then issue the refund. They replied super fast with the receipts of this, which was great. However, more transparency of this deposit would have made this part a lot less stressful.

Highly recommend! I stayed from June 15th-16th 2024, All front desk staff I encountered were so kind and amazing, English was what was mainly spoken (I attempted to speak some broken German) The night front desk lady ( name started with a “V”) was kind and informative and insightful. The city view with the balcony suite was great on the 6th floor . Very clean and modern. Robes and slippers in the room were also comforting. Quiet enough to get some rest, but close enough to anything it’s a walk or U-Bahn ride to where you need to go. The fact that this hotel has 24 hour staff was great when my flight arrived late and I didn’t check in until midnight. €10 an hour for up to two hours to late checkout (max 2pm/1400). However I was able to store my bag for the day, which was helpful.Side note- In case you didn’t know, EVERYTHING SHOPPING related is closed in Germany every Sunday, if you need to go a drug store or grab some groceries, going to the nearby zoo hbf station will have a DM Markt (drugstore) and a grocery / liquor open Sundays for a limited time. On Sundays most restaurants, cafes will be open across the city. Very minimal late night food in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at TWO Hotel Berlin by Axel. The rooms were clean and good, the service at the reception and in the restaurant was excellent. We were happy it was an adult only hotel with nice jacuzzi and sauna spaces. They do understand the meaning of service and client friendliness. We made the booking through Booking dot com and received a good price. When we return to Berlin, we will definitely consider staying at this hotel again.

Room was small but nice. Shower didn't close right and water got all over the room. Management aparantly were aware of this issue, and I guess it isn't a big enough issue for them to do anything about it.A little out of the main center (not too far), but I guess that was my bad for not checking that in advance.

This stay at the two hotel by axel has been more than astounding! There was problems checking in and the staff sorted it right away and offered us the spa to relax in so they could sort the problem for our room! The place is so clean and very modern, towels, shower products and glasses are fresh everyday and none of our stuff is disturbed in the process. There is a free safe, fridge and everything you need! There is even a radio in the mirror which is such a great bonus. Bathrobes & slippers are given on request at the desk (bare in mind this is just a basic room so I can’t imagine how amazing the more premium rooms are) it is in a peak location not far from the airport or busy locations! There is easy access to the underground and places within walking distance! We never pre booked for the two skybar but decided to go up for the evening and try the food and drinks, we are absolutely in awe of how amazing the staff are! The cocktails are made beautifully and taste amazing, really really good quality and the food is exquisite, never had food as well prepared and plated! Everything is made fresh and you can tell! We had the salmon & broccoli soup and finished with a crème brûlée in which we were given a complimentary tiramisu which was amazing. The service was fast and efficient and we can’t get over how lovely the cook and bar staff are even with a slight language barrier. John (copito) who was on bar was the most loveliest man we have ever met!! We are now looking to book again for next year just because of how amazing of an experience we have had and I don’t get how it is an amazing price. I was not expecting it to be this fancy and have this good of service for the price we paid. We are 10000% coming back we don’t want to leave!!

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The main positive aspect was the good behaviour of the staff and especially the receptionists Alicia and Nereido (unfortunately I may mispronounce her name) who did the check-in and check-out. They were very friendly, polite and helpful. Furthermore, we were upgraded to a better room for free, which was a great deal. Moreover, the price was totally affordable concerning the quality. In addition to the tidy room, we used the sauna and jacuzzi, which were both clean, cozy, and free. There is a train station only 2 minutes away, and it is at the most a 30-minute ride to the downtown area. The only problem was that I could not find any big supermarket nearby but there is a bakery right next to the hotel, which serves delicious coffee, croissant and other breakfast items If you do not want to use the hotel breakfast. All and all, we had a memorable stay at the hotel and I definitely suggest it.

Nereida, Bob, Jorge and team were amazing. So helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We were upgraded to a junior suite and we had our own balcony. The breakfast was great and the service and welcome was amazing. 1 man doing breakfast and one chef and the food was hot and plenty availability.I know we had a few minor issues, but resolved asap.We asked for extra shower creams and sugars, all brought to our room.Nereida helped us set up the he smart TV, so able to watch our Netflix.Location great and 15 mins walk to main area.Overall a great visitThanks allShaun and Tom

Extremely overpriced for what you get.For a "hetero friendly" hotel, it's way too hetero friendly. This is supposed to be a gay men's hotel, but we saw straight couples wearing suits in the sauna who were shocked that they were naked gay men there. Also, upon registration, we witnessed someone checking out what appeared to be a minor female (possibly their daughter)? In any case, we were assured that all Axel properties are for adults only. This is a concerning factor.I really enjoyed the concept of having a hotel that was designed and operated for ADULT GAY MEN, and even though it was much more expensive than other nearby hotels. Moreover, most of the rooms are very small and tired (our room had significant water damage to both the furniture and the flooring). As a non-smoker, I was thoroughly disappointed with the stench of cigarette tobacco smoke in our room coming from either directly under us at the entrance to THE hotel or from other people's rooms It was so strong. It smelled as if there was a smoker in our room..Due to the sheer number of heterosexual couples I saw, I probably won't be back again to any of the properties. There are other alternatives that are for gay men only. Before you think I'm "Karrening", I've stayed at Axel & Axel 2 in Berlin, Axle 2 in Barcelona and Axel in Maspalomas -- so I have checked out several of their properties and have had similar experiences in each.I think the reason why we're seeing more and more straight couples is because I've noticed they're now making reservations on Orbit, booking.com, and Expedia. Mostly bargain travellers. Get rooms there and just buy whatever is cheapest. Not looking at the description of the property.I must admit it was with a bit of glee when about 6 men came out of the steam room naked and a female and her boyfriend in the hot tub screamed in shock- they should have read what the hotel was all about.

Check your credit card bill! The bad - Unfortunately what would have been a five star review, reduced to a four star review. The day after checkout there was a 7€ charge from the hotel on our credit card statement. No indication of what it was. Turned out to be a bottle of wine from the minibar that we hadn't consumed, no receipt or bill for this at checkout or in a follow-up email, just straight off the card. It's a small amount and was reversed by the hotel on contact with an apology and commentary that you authorise extra charges to your card at check-in and mistakes happen. The good - great location next to bars, restaurants, a corner store (so you can avoid the minibar!) and two metro lines.Reception staff friendly, room cleaned everyday to a high standard and all the little extras in the room replenished.Room very modern with a lovely bathroom, we had a room facing the road and had no issues with noise.Great jacuzzi and spa area. Didn't try the breakfast as we where out late enjoying the Berlin nightlife!

The hotel was great! We made a small mistake when making the booking, but support was immediately offered to clarify things, the boy at the secretary's office was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and pleasant to stay in, thank you Axel! We'd love to come back 🙂

The hotel is calm, clean, the Junior suite is spacious and the balcony is wonderful, but I was hoping for a man in reception, despite the professionalism of the two ladies Elissa and the other, but I would have preferred to deal with a man, being a gay and an individual traveller. I wished that there were some other services inside the hotel or through it, especially for travellers from outside the European Union, such as the presence of a club or a store, or even providing concierge support.

By far the best part of this hotel was the staff. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful despite my very limited German! Big thank you to Jorge and Bob who were very supportive at all times. The bed was super comfortable, I fell asleep very quickly after a long day of travel. The only downfall of the room was the shower door did not seal correctly and we had to put additional towels on the floor to stop the water spreading. However the bathroom floor was heated which was a lovely surprise. The sauna etc was lovely although the hot tub only had 2 works jets and wasn't hot enough. If I was coming back to Berlin I would stay once again, the location was great as I don't like to stay too close to the heart of the city and it only takes 15 minutes on the underground which is basically on the front door step of the hotel.

Overall, it is a very comfortable hotel with plenty of space and comfort. Indoor spa area is nice with a decent workout room. Breakfast available everyday in the mornings although you will have to wake up fairly early to get it.Unfortunately this nice hotel tends to draw the attention of people that can make your stay here not as pleasant as it could be. This hotel is non smoking hotel, and unfortunately for you, if someone decides to smoke in the room, you will be alerted with a loud alarm throughout the hotel telling you to exit the building and wait outside where police and firefighters will enter the building and do a sweep. This process can take anywhere from 10 to 25 minutes and can happen at any hour of the day or night. This has happened to me twice during my stay, and was pretty irritating when you are trying to sleep or just ordered food to eat.

I stayed there for a night and it was great. The location is near U-station.The room was large and confortable, the beds great. We could play music in the bathroom from the "mirror" radio. We made tea and coffee. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would like to return.

Very fresh, very modern. The rooms are a bit too small, but they are very nice and have everything you need, including a filled minibar. Too bad we just...
