Normally I sit on the other side. Found Balcony Bar stocks the drink i like Soju plus what ever... staff have good memory and remember me after one night. I like it! I don't like to edit a profile like I continually have done tonight but I do like to say that I've just bought a $500 membership card that will give me a discount for every purchase here after which sounds pretty exciting. I have taken a photo of some of their promotional activities which I think are quite good value.Andrew Fenn

Don't come here for the karaoke. Literally the worse experience I've ever had in Bangkok for karaoke. When we got there we were the only customers. Some random dude just came up after we got there, second song in. He ordered nothing, changed our song halfway through then was hovering around our table like he was fishing for free beer before disappearing when that failed. At first I thought he was the staff because he was standing around us the whole time. It was weird and creepy.We ordered 3 beer towers and extras. We're a table of 9 people, only ones there. Then an other table of 2 showed up ordered a single water, then another table of 1 showed up ordered a tea and what looked like a big bottle of water from 7/11 to refill it. Rules seemed to suddenly be 2 songs per table. We table of 9 got to sing almost nothing between us given the people to table ratio.So we were duped into thinking we had the place for our party then these simply ridiculous rules were thrusted upon us once we already were into the beer towers and couldn't leave. How typical. So there we are paying a huge amount of money to be there then suddenly these stingy people showed up out of no where hogging the karaoke. Explained this politely to the staff to get the response, "it's not my business". Ok, I understand you don't own it, but you work here. It's your job to manage this. You're literally standing around and watching this happen. They eventually relented and split our group into two tables so we go 4 songs between our group while the other tables are getting in two songs per person. The night was soured already by that point and I was just going through the motions to finish up and leave.To the owner I hope you enjoy all your customers ordering one water and tea the whole night, but don't expect any real customers to come back a second time for the karaoke if that's how you're managing it. I have often organized karaoke parties typically ranging in the 20s of people. We're respectful of shared karaoke and make sure everyone has a fair turn. You got me this time, but never again. Never my friend's again that are big into karaoke, and anybody else who will listen to me will know about this horrible experience for years to come.Hope it was worth it for you. I'm sure it won't effect your business in the short term but businesses like this only survive for so long on tourists. Us locals won't bother to go when it's low season. Don't really see how people hogging your karaoke with the most minimum of orders is sustainable but that's not my problem and your staff don't seem to care either.It would take a lot for me to ever give this place a second chance. The experience soured me so much that I would not even want to have a beer there outside without guarantee of some changes being made.Sueb-sakula Tim

I was pleasantly surprised by the food here, as I thought it was more of a bar than a restaurant with a great menu. My friend and I ordered four dishes, all of which looked delicious and the waitresses took great care of us. Another great touch was the live music, which included a female singer who sang beautiful international songs.Randy Barney - Realtor

Got cheated here for over BHT 400, paid upfront for two drinks which never arrived. The staff thought it was a tip on my previous BHT 580 bill. Asked the manager and he started shouting at me. Great customer service.... So, overall spent BHT 1000, of which the bill was for 580, great deal 🤣 Never again.Dave Mann

nice chill drinking place before crazy party at DJ station.Love the alcohol selection especially the jugs! really affordable prices as well.Love the attentive staff, and just how friendly the people are in this lane.It was the first time I felt really accepted for who I am, back in 2016!! when I was still in college, visiting Bangkok for the first time.Scott Taylor

This is a night bar and club to sit and enjoy food and drinks. There are indoor and out door so customers can smoke and interact with people walking up and down the aisle.The food is very nice especially western menu that I ordered. For this price, it is filling you up.The live music is also performed indoor so customers have options to attend.Erwin Bakker (Latte)

Great place in Silom for a drink, a dance, after a show in the nearby bars or some food. I really liked the atmosphere. Someone with a very good taste did all the (Christmas) decorations inside and outside. Good terrace to watch the people and nice AC inside. Best reached by MRT, no parking available.Benjamin Allen

Such inattentive service - waiters too busy in the street trying to get people in here rather than looking after the patrons already buying drinks. The bar over the road is much better, it’s called Circus.Bula Bula

Fun bar with okay service and not bad food. Great place to sit and people watch before heading on to Soi 2. Prices do appear to be getting higher and higher but still not bad valuejames smith

great bar, lots of hot men, i really liked the guy called richard that pulled me into the bathroom and had some fun time with me, was a bit difficult to walk home after i was feeling sore. can only recommend 10/10 only thing i didnt like was that they didnt have balloonsJan Franek

Amazing place with great music. You can pay by card. The staff is helpful and easy going, you definitely feel welcome. I decided to spend my birthday evening at Balcony Pub Bar and the waiters took it seriously and prepared candles, ice cream and free birthday drink. Thank you guys for this unforgettable evening! Strongly recommended. Ying is the BEST!!!Roy P

We went here 19 years ago and wanted to renew old memories. We are not a gay couple and it did not offend us that it is listed as gay, as it was very clean tidy and friendly.ติ่มซําของเจ้า เราขอนะ

It's a place to sit and chill but if you want to dance to can. The price is good. The singer sings live. There are many foods to choose. But if we want to sing, there is karaoke on the second floor. There are a lot of people during the weekend. Good service staff, friendly, everyone and can speak English.Max Chan

I have been many times and was impressed with the way of their staff look after the customers.The staff were so kind, friendly and easy to talk with beside, the atmosphere was great especially inside. The bartender was also very kind, nice and they were good at conversation. I enjoyed the food especially the spring rolls and the drinks so much that was so good and delicious. Used to be a good bar in the past. Staff was always polite and caring.I came here 10 years.But now I‘m done.Staff is standing all together infront of the bar and smoking.Nobody assign you a table or is attending to you. I was just standing there watching people to see if someone leaves to get a table. But then they gave it to a group with 3 because they think the will make more profit.Better support small bars down the streetArnon Chandee

A waiter named “Pom” tried to insert coins in my mouth, because I didn’t gave him a tip. It was too much and unbearable. This considered that is a big violation for me. I tried to find CC Cam just to get the evidence and report to the officers, sadly there wasn’t any around the bar. The manager tried to calm me down by saying that this guy will be immediately fired. Used to be great but gone downhill in recent years. Been going there since 2009, the bar staff used to be very entertaining. The oldest serving barman is now the opposite... He is very unfriendly. I stopped going here... 🙁Michelle Jenkins

First night here and decided to enjoy the evening. I had read some good reviews about the balcony bar so decided to go for drinks.I had not yet finished my second drink when a waiter or maybe the boss came over and walked away with my reciptes.. a little later another waiter came back with my bill.I had not asked for the bill and was going to have another.Rude and reuined my night I won't be going back.L.Patrick Keen

I really like the Balcony bar . Great affordable foods and great music. The two bartenders there ,Mark and Nuey work hard and are very pleasant to customers but there's a new wannabe bartender there that's very rude to customers. I think the management needs to reconsider his position there . Put him upstairsnot behind the bar. He escalates tensions and arguments.Jenn CruznWant

We went here for karaoke. So at the second floor there's a big room with 2 screens and you can sing with pick songs from YouTube. But because you shared room with other guests each group have to turn the mic after 2 songs. Drinks starts from 70bahtMarkus Klar

Nice place. But avoid weekends when that show starts. U can not talk outside. Because they male the music so loud it is impossible to talk to each other. Staff not care at all when music is too loud. They not like it and close their ears. It is really painful outside.When I wanna see that show I go inside. Outside I sit for drinks and talk. But impossible.But other bars want my money as well. This bar is good to people-watch and soaked up the gay atmosphere in silom soi 4 which is a street of gay bars and restaurants.It is great place for those who travel alone to get acquainted with people from different countries. That being said, a lot customers go there with their partners.They have a great selection of cocktails and my favorite is cosmopolitan and kamikaze. if cocktails is not your thing then you can have beers/wines.Not a lot of people eat here but the food I ordered was pretty tasty - Papaya Salad and Minced Chicken with Basel.Stuart C (BKK)
