Our first day in Lisbon, and we were walking down the gay area. My bf had drank too much at dinner so he went to use the restrooms at 106. When we started to leave, the owner/bartender went after us scalding my bf that this is not a public restroom. We were kind of shocked from the rudeness and just utter nerve to go out after a person and say that. We wanted to come back the next day to the area and bar hop, but definitely not this bar. What a stupid way to lose a potential customer, and for what? A lesson? Are we 5 year olds? What happened to courtesy? Jeeeez.Disgusting behaviour. Hope everyone would stay away from this place!
Small, friendly, bar in Principe Real, famous for its Sunday evening message nights which let you discretely leave notes for other customers to read and respond (21:00-03:00).Mon to Sat 21:00 to 2:00. Sundays 21:00 to 03:00.
Cash only meant we could only stay for one drink...we would have stayed longer, but that's ok. Business decisions mean businesses thrive...or not. Ended up having a better night up the road anyway.
Really cute, cozy low-key bar in Principe Real. The owner is very friendly. Be aware that for some reason they only take cash or the Revolut app, which did not work for me one of the times I went.
Great bar that felt like home. The owners Zé and Keith were so friendly and helpful especially Zé. Would definitely recommend this bar to anyone coming to Lisbon ♥️
Amazing locale with great tunes and atmosphere and an owner who goes out of their way to assist their clientele in any way they can. Thank you very much! Will have to stop in again on our next trip to Lisbon!
This is a great bar to go with friends for drinks , the bar man was excellent the drinks were strong , nice crowd of people and nice level of good music to chat ...highly recommend
Everybody was super friendly and gave us great recommendations as to what to do in Lisbon. Jose, is the best! Knows so much about the city, has the best recommendations and is just a great person all around. We ended up going there almost every night just to talk to him and met a wide array of people that made our stay in Lisbon very fun.
Travelled from the UK and spent time here before travelling home.Recommend 150%!! Very welcoming place and a friendly atmosphere. Went for one drink and stayed for many more. Thanks - Nic
Small, quiet, 4 people here on a Friday at 10:38PM in early August. Pretty surprising, because the place is well-lit and could be a happening place. Nobody is talking to each other... felt like we were “intruding.” Wouldn’t recommend to tourists...
Went there on a Friday night and wasn't particularly busy. The owner was very friendly but the atmosphere was strange - horror movies being played on the...
Saying that this bar is LGBT-friendly is an understatement. They are 'absolutely-everybody-friendly': the bar is not only really open to everybody, but the usual crowd (as well as the staff) make new visitors very welcome, no matter how one labels oneself. This is not a 'dating' place, or a place to smooch in corners, and shock the public; instead, it's a great environment to hang out with friends and acquaintances, no matter what their lifestyle might be. All are welcome to mix and gather in the same place. And the bouncer greets you with a bright smile when you arrive! As a crossdresser, I was not only tolerated there, but people would actually come and sit at our table for a short chat, wishing to understand better about our community and lifestyle, in the most friendly possible way. And I understand that if you really don't know anybody, you can chat with the staff as well, if that's what you wish to do — they will make you feel part of the family. It's a tiny place, so, if someone is throwing a birthday party for their friends, expect it to be completely crowded!Good ventilation (I'm a smoker, so I appreciate that!), very reasonable pricing, music is often DJ'ed professionally, and sometimes there are a few live music shows, depending on occasion; they have a Facebook page to announce events.
