A total fire hazard! Overpacked and a group of girls kinda creating their own bar are in front of the place and just inside taking up 25% of the space and since when do girls go to bear bars? DJ doesn’t even mix songs properly. He just changes the music like a child spinning. Left after one drink.Scott Carpentier

Small bar, but cool atmosphere. Wish we could have went on a weekend.The bartender was super friendly and helpful.He also made sure we got back to our hotel safely.Thanks to you. You were fabulous!!Regards from the two guys from the US there on 9/9 & 9/10.Greg Gardiner

Helpful staff but for a gay bar not a friendly atmosphere. Barman makes you pay for every drink fearing you are going to run off I guess. But does not do the same to his friends. Different standard if you’re a visitor. Nobody makes you feel welcome. Not for me. Straight bars in Athens are more friendly.Labros Lazaratos

Big Bar is a charming little spot in Athens, especially appealing to the bear community. The bar is quite small, featuring two cozy rooms separated by a low wall, which adds to its intimate vibe. I visited on a Friday evening, and it was really packed with people, creating a lively atmosphere.The staff were very friendly, which made for a welcoming experience. I did find it amusing that their "big" beers are only 330ml—definitely a funny twist!Overall, I enjoyed my time there and would recommend it for anyone looking for a laid-back place to have a drink in Athens.YAFEA ALYAFEI

I was here once in 2019 and I had a very bad experience, mainly from the crowd there who were very unfriendly, and promised myself to never visit the place again. After 5 years all of my local friends told me to give this place a second chance and I did last night. The place is miles better than what it used to be. The bartender was nice to me and chatty. They played a mix of all the music I like, especially they played few rock songs, very rare for a gay bar to do that. The drinks were nice and the vibe was much better than 5 years ago. I'll try to catch the weekend drag show. Otherwise, on my next time in Athens.
