Had a Magic time Spinning Around in Club Cumming at the Kylie tea dance ahead of her MSG concert, hosted by the Wow Bright light bright light. Playing only songs by Kylie and Dannii. He took not just The One song request but requests on post it notes all afternoon. Good promotions on at the bar such as Golden Mimogusers, with not Slow but quick service. The place was packed out, there was no Tension, the atmosphere was Magnetic Electric and we couldn't help but get our Real Groove on the Dancefloor for some Dancing. On a Night Like this, we wished we could have stayed forever, and ever and ever.Padam Padam.
Okie I didn’t even kno they still had gay bars in east village? I came here for the Kylie night and I had such a good time. Good vibes and people. Excellent proactive bartenders. Highly recommend.
So much fun!! We loved Colt and all of the staff members! We will definitely be back, especially if I go to law school in NYC.I felt very welcomed!! Colt even handed out home made cookies
A fun space, but reliably mediocre DJs and music. No one in the booth seems interested in whether people are *actually* dancing or *pantomiming* dancing.
Club Cumming is a standout venue for anyone seeking a truly unforgettable night in NYC. This eclectic spot blends cabaret, comedy, and burlesque into an...
Stopped in with my hubby after a show nearby not knowing what to expect. Awesome space! The 80's tunes were totally welcome. Great to see everyone dancing...
Such a fun place!!! I came here last night for their weekly, Sunday night Drink & Draw. It was sponsored by Moleskine & Izipizi. Every table had a Moleskine...
It's not the largest venue, no, not the best DJs either but the space is welcoming, fun, kitch and very gay. Sound system is good and beer selection is OK. Drinks are NYC standard price and of an acceptable potency. To be frank, I love it here exactly for it's messy dissonance, from the decor to the acts. It's divey but also Broadway?A suggestion would be for a more skilled house DJ for those of us that like to wiggle.
I was having so much fun that I was Cummings all over the place I made a milky sticky and over all bad time for everyone else but I edged at least 1000 times
I was in this fabulous and energetic Club a year ago I was with my daughter and a couple friends to celebrate a birthday let me tell you even not being gay...
Charged a cover and after I got a drink I set by the door and noticed that the cover wasn’t mandatory! On a Friday night about 12 patients and 2 dancers. Not what I expected based on other people posting…. I truly hope the dancers are being paid because the attractive customer did not tip the dancers
Recently had a trip to NYC, this bar was super fun and cute. The bartenders were very friendly. The atmosphere is kind of divey which is very fun and...
Club Cumming certainly won't be everyone's cup of tea but if this is your scene it's a gem. Superb signing and strong drinks...a recipe for success in my book.
In NYC where there is so much tourism, the security doesn’t know how to read the date in a Cuban ID, which I get, he doesnt have to know it but he can always learn and not just banned us and almost throw me and my friend to the street. Pretty unpolite, almost mad arguing and so easy to just look it up on google, lord.
I was harassed and asked to leave by a drunk guy for no reason. Nothing was done by the employees, manager, nor the owner that was directly involved in the situation
Stopped by here for happy hour (which goes until 9!?), And so glad we did! The bartender, Allie, was friendly and served us up quick drinks. We had dinner...
Showed temporary DMV license cause mine was lost and they turned my down despite the fact I’m older than god. I get it, but y’all should hire security that isn’t that dumb. Works everywhere else. Money gonna get spent st. Elsewhere. Cheers
Alan himself is one of the rudest unwelcoming celebrities I have ever met. This is the neighborhood I was raised in. The staff is fantastic but just because...
This place is an excellent homage to the old new york bars: great variety shows, from live piano to burlesque, and reasonably priced drinks. My only reason not to give it five stars is that Club Cummins features the slowest bartender I have ever experienced; this kid can only make and charge one drink at a time, making the experience of buying a simple beer a test of patience.
Connection at its finest. If you want a warm, human connection, seriously go to Club Cumming. I was fortunate enough to come on Mondays with Lance. Think...
As a queer man, this place is legendary. I brought some friends here from out of town to show them a good time. We had a blast, and decided to stick around for stand up comedy. After two sets, we were participating and laughing along. Randomly, the Maneger decided we were no good. Judging us on our haircuts and clothes we wear. We got ejected and ridiculed by the comedian called us “duck dynasty in-bread motherfuckers”. The bartender was totally baffled. I will never return. And I encourage you to avoid this place
Small, cramped, and boring. The go-go dancers are ugly and out-of-shape, and the drag queens barely have any room to dance. Charged a $10 cover last time I was there; definitely not worth the cost.
If you wanna have a good time, dance a little or sing out loud to some good music then definitely come to Club Cumming. Every night is a different vibe. I...
I went on a Tuesday I believe and it was a very nice experience. There was a jazz band playing wonderful music. I loved the low key local feel as I had bumped into this place it was the best discovery ever. I will be going back.
I had a good time here when I went with my friend. We didn't have to pay a cover fee since we went on a week night, and it was great to listen to live music...
The location itself is great but the doorman seemed really confused regarding their own policies. The doorman said that there was no more entry tonight but a group without a reservation was allowed to go in right after us. Then 15 minutes later we were also allowed to enter. It does not really make any sense.
Terrible neighbors. They let trash and garbage fester around their outdoor dining shed for weeks on end, don't clean up their outdoors, and have let a dead...
A bartender named MATT yelled at my friend and I "UNACCEPTABLE!" loud enough so that everyone in the bar could hear him because he upset that we did not tip him for TWO beers! Classy place, trashy bartender! HE RUINED MY NIGHT AND LEFT A BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH ABOUT THIS PLACE!
Club Cumming is everything that I hoped it would be; relaxed, great music, interesting people, lovely energy! Alan Cumming has created an ambiance that...
Small, cramped, and boring. The go-go dancers are ugly and out-of-shape, and the drag queens barely have any room to perform. Charged a $10 cover last time I was there; definitely not worth the cost.
Club Cumming is a fantastic place, especially if you want to have a lot of fun and love listening to people sing in an all inclusive safe space! We arrived...
There was a miscommunication at the door, but the security guard -Xavier- was so polite and explained the situation to us and made us feel so comfortable....
Don’t come here if you aren’t prepared to get scammed! Drag queen at the entrance made us tip her at the door and didn’t perform. DJ had horrible energy and stopped the music to yell at us to leave for requesting a song. The bar is clearly after a certain demographic and will chase away anyone who looks feminine.
Went here on a Friday night and they had a couple drag queens perform and they did their first ever 'Bussy Bingo'. Basically they had a dialogue between the...
Great all around rep of the community especially LGBTQ+. Not sure what the “dancer” gets paid for? Fanning and drinking. A little flirting with DJ. Expected more..anything?
LOVE this place. Came to see a friend perform and it was excellent. Paul Shaffer band leader of the David letterman show was also present. And just before we got here, Michael Musto had a knitting show there.
