If you're hitting up Paris and craving a wild night, CUD Paris is the spot. Tucked away in Le Marais, this gay dance bar is where the magic happens post-midnight. The vibe? Totally stylish, with a mix of locals and globetrotters all looking to have a good time.
Here's the deal: CUD doesn't even start popping until everything else is closing. Think of it as the after-party to your after-party. It's casual, with the real action happening in a cool, vaulted cave beneath the streets. The DJs spin everything from pop to house, and they're all about taking your song requests—just be nice about it.
The crowd? Young, fun, and ready to mingle. Drinks might hit your wallet hard, but it's all part of the experience. It's cozy, which means you'll get to know your neighbors. Whether you're there to dance your heart out or meet someone new, CUD's got you covered. It's the kind of place where coats are optional (it gets hot down there) but dancing shoes are a must.
Long story short, CUD Paris is where you go to keep the night alive. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's a must-visit for a taste of Paris's vibrant gay nightlife. Just remember to pace yourself—it's a long night ahead.
Terrible security, so much arrogance. To see him let other people in with no question but have pulled me by my jacket. It’s a lovely place to visit but I can’t say the same for the security: so horrible, even worse that I did not speak French:
The security cannot behave normally. The life is simple, when I wanna dance, I am dancing, when I wanna buy an alcohol, I am buyin. For security, that's not the case. They try to aggressively force to purchase a product before you are gonna decide on what is your mood today.Often, it happened to me that they limit me the entrance back when i wanna catch a breath due to heat inside. The music is nice, and prices are quite low, but security service is unacceptable.
I’m currently after being assaulted and beaten by a security guard at this bar. The incident started when I ordered a beer, and they told me it was €9.50. I politely declined and thanked them, saying I wouldn't buy it. However, they then held me and my friend hostage, refusing to let us leave until we paid for the beer (the drink that I didn’t even touch). The situation escalated with racist remarks directed at my friend, followed by a violent attack and the destruction of my camera (watch the video). If you're gay and in Paris, I strongly advise you to stay far away from this bar.
a pretty club it’s just unfortunate how bad the dj is, if I wanted to listen to spanish music I’d party in spain not france and when I spoke my mind about it I got thrown out 🤷🏼♀️ also the bouncers are on a power trip about smoking outside and prefer you to go into a room the size of a closet
If you’re looking for some good Latin music & you are LGBT this place is great! My friend & I were visiting for the first time & we had a blast, music was good, drinks, & the atmosphere was phenomenal. Our bartender Davidson was nice & sweet accommodating us in Spanish/English translation.
This is a great bar to spend the late hours of the night. Some of the staff are Fantastic, some aren't. Good drinks, great music and always fun. Highly recommend this place. If you get a bad bartender, just go to another.
It's a shame this place has deteriorated so much. The environment is becoming more toxic. Before it was a super friendly queer environment. Women should calm down, gays don't want to touch them THAT'S FOR SURE!
Great place to meet all types and orientations. Music is mostly 2010 pop music. You will absolutely have a seizure downstairs. They flash blinding white light randomly for minutes. That coupled with the terrible music selection. I felt like throwing up and I been to raves with all types of lights and lazers. This was too much. Watch your valuables and don't go with strangers. See some sketchy stuff in the alley surrounding the bar early a.m
Came from London to enjoy Paris for winter celebrations. I went to Cud Bar with my friend and had such a great time! Sebastian have been our bartender at the upper bar. We received a work welcome and enjoyed chatting with him! Thanks a lot for making our night a special one!😊🥰
I don’t mind paying 16€ for a cocktail if it’s good! But paying this amount for a cocktail with 90% Coca-Cola without acid and 10% of alcohol is a shame! Plus the music is not good just SCD turning over and over! I do not recommend
Met a really cute guy from Dublin at this bar last night. 🥵 Great place to meet all types and orientations. Music is mostly 2010 pop music. You will absolutely have a seizure downstairs. They flash blinding white light randomly for minutes. That coupled with the terrible music selection. I felt like throwing up and I been to raves with all types of lights and lazers. This was too much.
Le security guy is a mess (the large and tallest one). He is very rude to everyone. He thinks he works for a straight club. Plus the drinks are just terribly light and super expensive. 12 euro for a vodka redbull, which is serves in a tight glass with extremely little alcohol. Robbery.
Absolutely the best bar around! This was absolutely a great and unexpected find. We were a bit skeptical because of the other reviews but we found this...
Avoid this place and its new security staff.I’ve been a frequent customer for over 8 years and I’ve never had a problem before. The club has changed a lot since the covid started and maybe since the good old manager left.I told the security guard I wanted to leave but he didn’t let me out and asked me to stay inside. A few minutes later and while someone was leaving, I asked him again but he just brutally closed the door and almost broke my toe. He could’ve just said sorry but instead he was just standing there with the other security guards and the manager talking and he even came to tell me he was not sorry and to leave the street.
Nothing special about this club in my opinion, however, it’s quite popular amongst locals. There’s no cover fee to get in and they close quite late which allows to stay partying until the metro is running back again.Drinks are 10-12 euros each. The place is quite small and underground, so it can get very steamy and hot inside. They need more ventilation in the main dancing area.
I know this is going to sound rather strange, but we followed a group of strangers down the streets of Paris looking for a gay club to dance at after we...
Walking down a dark alley at midnight in Paris is nothing like the movie...but it's worth it to find this little gem! Way cool place - and let me tell you...
