Looking for a bar where you can unleash your inner lumberjack in a space that's equal parts cosy and cruisy? Then Kreuzberg's Bar Dreizehn is your new weekend go-to.
This spot isn't afraid to embrace its masculinity. Think exposed brick walls, fairy lights strung across the ceiling, and a soundtrack that goes hard on the techno and 80s classics. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to whip you up a potent caipirinha or a perfectly poured Berliner Weisse. There's no table service here, so grab a drink from the bar and mingle – that's what Dreizehn is all about.
And mingle you will. The crowd at Dreizehn is a delightful mix of Berlin's gay scene, with a healthy dose of international travellers thrown in for good measure. It's the kind of place where conversation flows easily, and friendships are struck up over shared shots and laughter.
SO. MUCH. FUN. Bartender - nicest person ever. Beer - not as expensive as on other places. Atmosphere - dude, we had sooooomuch fun 🤩 love the place, will conw back for sure
We went on Monday and Tuesday and the barman Sandy was simply amazing, so welcoming and entertaining, although the majority of customers were speaking German (we are English) we still felt welcomed, we then went in on Wednesday, how different, the guy behind bar was awful, there was a frosty atmosphere when we walked in , he obviously just sees to his mates, we was left waiting for drinks whilst he served other guys who arrived after us, it seemed everything was a chore when we tried to order, how things can be so different and change the vibe with two different hosts a million miles apart!
I had a great time here each time I went. Like quite a few bars in Berlin, it has a bit of an old times feel, frequented by unpretentious, friendly people... thank you for the good times and great chats with Berliners, who could tell me a thing or two about their great city
This is probably a really amazing gay bar for men. With that said, they do not allow women. And If you happen to be a woman going in with a gay friend, they...
I love this bar. It’s small with seats set around the bar so not a lot of room to move. There were seats outside also in September.Every German bar allows smoking inside.Just one word of caution. The barman can be a bit temperamental. A strange character but this adds to the appeal for me. In truth he’s normally more drunk than the customers. I’ll be back the next time I’m in Berlin
A nice little bar, mainly older guys. Odd that smoking is allowed inside seeing as the UK has been smoke free for 12years. I'm glad that I went but won't rush back due to the smoking.Reasonable prices and very friendly staff and customers.
