Love love love LOVE, literally the best bar in all of wellington, such a safe enviroment and the staff are so amazing. Special shout out to the bouncer max
When we went in last week, it smelt awful, really seedy, and dirty. The drinjs were yuk. Lots of comments on Wellibgton Community page warning that people are getting their jackets stolen while at Ivy Bar, and that drinks are dodgy? Place sounds Sus? Be warned.
Can't comment on food but I absolutely loved this bar.I'm not from wellington but I was very glad to have found this place. Happened to show up on the last Friday of the month which is their monthly drag show apparently. And wow it was a great show! The people were very friendly. I loved the decor! It's a smokey little underground bar where I really felt I could be myself. When I'm back in town I'll be definitely popping in again!
Ivy is great, the atmosphere, the people, the yummy cocktails 😋I remember one cocktail called Jim Jams that was tasty af.Friendly service too.Its just the best. Also for someone like me who is sensitive to brightness, I appreciate the dark lights.Highly recommended.
