About

La Boite in Paris is the go-to spot for a chill vibe and awesome themed nights. Tucked away at 15 Rue des Lombards in the lively Marais district, this bar is a hit among the LGBTQ+ crowd and their allies. Imagine grabbing drinks with your mates in a place that feels more like a fun gathering at a friend’s than a typical bar. Open from Wednesday to Sunday, 6 PM to 3 AM, it's perfect for those mid-week breaks or weekend blowouts.

The place rocks a friendly atmosphere, making everyone from students to young professionals feel right at home. They've got everything from live DJs spinning tracks that get you moving, to drag shows that are all about that glam and glitz.

Getting there is a breeze, thanks to its central location near the Chatelet metro station. Plus, they're pretty active on social media, so you can keep tabs on what's happening next. Whether you're in the mood for a laid-back evening sipping cocktails or dancing the night away, La Boite has got you covered. It's the kind of place where memories are made, and you'll find yourself planning the next visit before you've even left.

Had a wonderful evening at La Boite. Super friendly establishment. I can hardly believe some of these negative reviews. We were a group of gay men, lesbian women, white, Asian and black. We were welcomed without question and had a wonderful time. Great music. Fun vibe. Reasonably priced drinks.

Great vibe, dance music and service. To all the straight haters, you have many places to go.

We stumbled upon this place and ended up having a great time. We were welcomed and got a table in the back. The bar back was very nice and the bartenders were having a good old time dancing to the music.

I agree with Jean Nassour. I got exactly the same treatment from the bar owner. When I tried to enter on June 23, he chased me out of the bar saying that I had entered earlier but had not bought a drink. Outrageous! I hope he goes out of business.

Cute, friendly, good music - good stop for a drink or two. Sooo… there are a lot of bad reviews around not admitting straight people. These reviews also throw around words like intolerant and hypocritical. I am A OK with not admitting straight people. It’s their bar, they can whatever the hell they want. Our queer places are becoming diluted. Ever been to a drag show when a shrieking hen/bachelorette party shows up - I’m ready to slit my own throat with an olive toothpick. Straight people have 99% of the bars and clubs on the planet to go to. we take back the 1%. Go cry your crocodile tears elsewhere.

Cozy neighborhood bar that I could imagine hanging out in if I lived Paris.

Worst club in all of Paris, the owner of the bar is extremely rude and will kick you out if you don't pay for his extremely overpriced and low quality/standard drinks, don't go there, it's not a friendly nor an interesting place. Plus the owner is extremely superficial but I will not comment on his appearance as I don't want to fall on his level.

J'ai eu le temps de ma vie!Absolutely the best time. Non pretentious Hidden little gem. Merci! Oscar was amazing, and the staff, top service very professional. People were amazing and even got a chance to practice my French, Spanish, Portuguese! Everyone is welcome! Being from Texas, I blended right in. Spanish, French…. nous ne faisons qu'un à bras ouverts!

For two NYers, LA Boite is a refreshing spot as it resembles the West Village bars. Helped us feel at home. The service was friendly and professional. Prices were affordable and the drinks were very tasty. Highly recommend.

The bartender was pretty rude about the 15€ minimum for cards, like I said I will just buy another drink but he kept going on about needing to immediately pay for one and looked super angry at me. I would have just bought two for myself right anyway, but I left instead.

We went with a woman in our party and he said no women allowed. But a woman literally walked in right in front of us, and we could clearly see several other women already inside. Do not give your money to this bigoted establishment. We’ve come too far as LGBTQ community to tolerate exclusion.
