Little Ku Bar, tucked away in the lively Soho area, this place is like the laid-back younger sibling to the more flamboyant Ku Bar. It's where you head when you want a cool spot to just hang out, have a drink, and chat with friends or make new ones.
This bar has got some history, starting out way back in 1995. It's been through a few makeovers and relocations, but it's always kept that friendly, inclusive vibe. Think of it as that one friend's living room where everyone always ends up for a good time.
The decor? It's got this cool, modern look with a mix of greys and tans – classy but not trying too hard. It's small enough to feel cozy but not cramped. Perfect for those nights when you're not up for a wild party but still want to be out and about.
The staff here are the real MVPs – super welcoming and always ready to make your night a bit better. And the drinks? Whether you're into cocktails or shots, they've got you covered. Sure, the cocktail game might not win any awards, but the shots are a blast.
Weekends here are a vibe, with a small dance floor that gets hopping and DJ sets that set the mood. It's an awesome spot for pre-party drinks or just to spend the whole night.

Very little atmosphere, and expensive for what it is. Service charge is mandatory despite getting your own drinks at the bar - Ku has never been the best place in the world but it's managed to make itself worse. The bars round the corner on Old Compton Street can be absolutely heaving and there'll still only be half a dozen people here, which tells you all you need to know.To follow on from the owner's response, I'm disappointed to have to leave such a review, as I'm not in the habit of doing so. However, the fact that there is a service charge levied at all when (as I mentioned) you get your own drinks at the bar is appalling - and then putting the onus on the customer to know that this charge could be removed when it wasn't explained as such, is just as bad.
Booked Little Ku for my birthday. Was an amazing night and we were all really looked after by the team, in particular Freddie for arranging everything and making the night go like a dream. Tre, Max and Andre were also fab and looked after all of my guests so well. The food that arranged came at the time specified and was great. Honestly if you’re looking for somewhere to have a party or a good night out with friends you won’t be disappointed with the exemplary service and wonderful staff at little Ku.
Attended a 40th birthday party at Little Ku earlier this month having booked a private area upstairs to be able to celebrate. What a fantastic night! All the staff were absolutely fab and could not have done more to make us feel welcome or to help us celebrate. Nothing was too much trouble for them and special mention goes to Freddie for organising everything so amazingly. Great bar with a brilliant atmosphere and top notch staff! Thank you.
Tre is the best host ever. He greeted us so nicely & welcomed us in greatly. The drinks were great & service throughout the night as well. Great music too.
Had 2 visits during a 3 night trip to Soho recently.. This place is now at the top of the 'must visit' list for our next trips. Terrific music, drinks menu, decor and clientelle. Beautiful place made even more special by excellent barstaff, especially Tre who is an absolute legend and made us feel welcome, special and valued. Thanks so much to Tre and the team, see you during pride weekend if not before!
Nice enough place but calling this a cocktail joint is a stretch. They really don't want you to order off menu (won't do an old fashioned). They're just mixing booze and that's not really a cocktail. 😔
As a part of my Sperm Donation World Tour of the UK, I was looking to have a gay old time, stopped in here for a drink small double story bar loved the layout and designed to it.
Loved this place! My girlfriend and I came here on Saturday night after being at the theatre. It wasn't overly busy and had a place to sit. A group of men approached the table and the man working on the door came up to us and asked if we was alright with them being there, which I found incredibly nice of him and felt looked after so thank you so so much. Drinks are a little on the expensive side I must say, but I would deffo return 🙂
I had a blast here w my bestie for our bday celebration! I lost my phone and thank you to the lovely lady for returning it to me!!! I appreciate you so much and I’m forever thankful!!! We will be back thanks for the kindness and fun time!!!
Arrived in West End on Saturday 29/07, as every where was really busy thought to go into Little Ku as no one was in there, was polite to the barman and asked if had any pink gin and then a barrage of negativity from the bar man telling us to calm down and that we were disrespecting him. As 2x gay guys, the attitude from this barman was totally unexpected or needed, so we left - no wonder it was empty if you are greeted with this type of negative attitude. Won't be returning here again as plenty of other friendlier and positive places to go.
Lovely chilled vibes even in a busy bar, a bit of a haven in the middle of hectic Soho! Our server Shane really went over and above to make some birthday drinks extra special.
I really enjoy this place for a nice drink! It's even better when it's not too crowded. I appreciate that they have started playing more Spanish music, which is a rare find in London. However, the only downside is that there isn't much room for dancing. Also, it's worth mentioning that the drinks can be a bit pricey. If you found this review helpful, please consider clicking the like button to show your support.

had the best time here last night after London Pride!! everyone was lovely and there was a nice mix of people in there 🏳️🌈we made some lesbian friends at pride and we all went to Little Ku to have a dance, the servers were lovely and we had a gorgeous time 🍹🪩it was very very busy due to the pride celebrations but the bouncer let us in straight away and there was space for us to dance on the second floor.kudos to the staff and owners, you’re doing a fabulous job. we will be back!
Shane always sets a great atmosphere with amazing music and drinks!! We will definitely be coming back for more!!! (Cocktails and some nibbles would be a great addition)
Love little Ku, always good energy and such a good vibe with the people and music, Tre is an amazing host, so welcoming and warm, hes always looking incredibly fierce and fearless to keep the best people flowing inside!!
Had an amazing night tonight …. starting off the weekend in the best way possible. Shane served us like a boss, making sure we were properly looked after before we headed for dinner. Definitely coming back when I’m in the city again! ⚡️
Had an incredible night here when visiting London recently. The staff were brilliant, especially Tré! He made my friends and I feel so welcome and gave us amazing advice for what to do with our time in London- he really made our night! Will definitely be back! Thanks to Little Ku and Tré for such a great experience!
We went for a drink and was looked after by Shane (the best human on earth) he single-handedly transformed our experience with the grace and poise of Princess Di and the speed and agility of Sir Mo Farrah. Little Ku & life itself would be pointless without Shane. 10/10 would recommend.
I went for a drink with my friend after wandering around trying to find a place that would fit our vibe. Ondrej welcomed us and was such a lovely energy! 🙂 We loved chatting with them in between drinks orders. The place is super cute for those days when you want to go for drinks and boogie but can’t be bothered to get to a super intense club. We stayed for a few hours and really enjoyed the music too !
I always enjoy myself at Little ku but this time was exceptionally good, I was only going to stay for one drink but Trey’s charm made me stay for another two rounds! I highly recommend this venue to whoever stumbled on it.
Tré is always the most amazing host, I honestly come back just to see him on the weekend. Makes my night every time I’m here and the bar staff are amazing as well
We had such a fun night here! Great vibes and the staff were all lovely esp the host Trey, very welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in London.
Go there with my friends all the time. Unfortunately, service charge was applied to my drinks 🍺 (that I got at the bar)I don’t mine paying for service, but at least provide it. Getting my own drinks from the bar doesn’t constitute service charge.
The price charged for the same two drinks is different each time at this bar. Other bars such as Circa, Comptons or Rupert St charge the same each time, which serves to reaffirm my suspicion that the staff are up to something dodgy here, such as adding tips on before presenting the card machine for payment. Whatever the reason, the prices end up being around a third more expensive than in other bars in the area. Just under £30 for two doubles in a basic bar with zero service is disproportionately expensive.
Be warned that they seem to charge twice for mixers at the bar, compared to ordering on the app.Aside from ripping off their customers, there's no atmosphere here and its only saving grace is that they have some outside drinking tables.
Sunday morning i asked if they can let me please use the bathroom, I use to go to the bathroom frequently and the SIA at the entrance was very rude and he didn't let me use the bathroom, he was keep repeating:' go to mcdonald " ,while mcdonald were closed, withouth compassion, withouth even knowledge of a nearest public bathroom.I find out then that many other SIA treated me like that one.
I would give zero stars but the security guard told us we were stupid even though we tried to recipocate we had a fun evening hopefully if you replace the security guard named Tony he was very rude but the bartenders were friendly and Andrei made our night and was really and friendly and gave us our drinks on time please promote him thank you

I never experienced such rudeness from a security guard it really ruins the vibe from Ku
Such a change! Used to come for few drinks often when popping to London.Never a disappointment however this time was different. Different vibe- different people.Dirty toilets. Rude energy from front door to the bar. I felt very confused and unfortunately didn’t enjoy at this point. Shame
This place has a mobile ordering system, which is great. Sadly, they also make it MANDATORY to pay a minimum 10% service charge. I'm okay with service charges but making them mandatory really leaves a bad taste in the mouth.Below the management responded that service charge is optional - I reiterate that on the mobile ordering system, this isn't optional, the minimum you can select is 10%
Loved the place ! Super nice security guy, we came without a booking on a really busy night and he managed to get us a table. Nice ambiance and music. Highly recommend !
Coming here for a drinks very often after dinners around. this place has never let me down.I feel always safe and looked after The manager to be- Caroline, she is a real star of this place and always- always making sure everything is as it should be . Fab energy between guests and staff working there. Good choice of music in the background. If you are looking for fun and safe night out this is the place to go! I cannot wait to see you guys in action inside.
Terrible service. The manager took me off just because the PLASTIC cup was leaking off (simple vodka) and I asked her to replace it. Really can’t believe why she is treating customer like this.
With friends we are visiting this place really often. Everyone from staff are really friendly and helpful. Karolina always find some time to chat with us what make the visits even more enjoyable
The smaller counterpart to the Ku Bar in Chinatown by Leicester Square. Friendly and cosy, this bar is split on 3 levels, with a bar on the ground floor and toilets downstairs. The decor and art is pleasant, and there are videos of almost naked men playing on loop on the TV screens.
