ReBar is Houston's only full service LGBT venue with distinctive food, a popular patio, multiple bars, VIP bottle service areas, and a high-tech dance floor.
This very popular address has undergone a reunion, revitalization, and a rebirth as ReBar Houston. The people who made up the soul of Rich's Houston made the transition to 202 Tuam Street.
The changes have already begun to take shape and have continued throughout 2019, 2020 and into 2021.
An excellent place with incredible service, I loved it! The show was fantastic, and everything was very well done, performed by wonderful people who put on a marvelous show. The food was beautifully presented, and my mimosas were delicious with the unique flavor of this restaurant and bar. Come and enjoy this charming atmosphere; I'll definitely be back. The waiters were very attentive and deserved their tips... yes of yes!
Wow. Restaurant and bar with a country club in the middle of a city. Nice to finally see The Montrose Country Club with my friend. We had a good time at the bar and meeting the performer Blackberry. We will be back soon.
Food was terrible. There is definitely no chef creating your meal. It’s microwave quality. Ordered shrimp & grits and grits were cold and shrimp was frozen quality.
First of all, I had no idea this place was tucked away inside Montrose. It’s absolutely beautiful inside, and I can already tell it would be even more stunning in the summertime. We went this past weekend for their Sunday drag show, and a time was definitely had. We arrived around 11 a.m., but it seems like most of the crowd really rolls in closer to 1 p.m. Next time, I’m for sure aiming for the 1 o’clock crowd because the energy really picks up.Now, the food… I’ll be honest, it was just okay. Dare I say, a little mid. We enjoyed it, but it wasn’t very flavorful or memorable, especially for the price point. And yes, the bill was definitely on the expensive side.I personally loved my mocktail, but my party did not enjoy their mimosas. They mentioned it tasted like there may have been some leftover dish soap residue in the glass, which affected the overall flavor. That said, the experience itself was great. The energy was amazing, the show was entertaining, and the atmosphere made it worth it. I would absolutely go back and yes, I’d eat there again and pay the same bill, simply because the ambiance and entertainment makes it worth the visit. The total bill for a party of 3 was $192, including the tip. Which I guess wouldn't be that bad if I didn't cover the full tab. So... it's honestly a great value for a show, meal, and drinks pp.
The drag performances were great Friday night 10/10/25.Everything else from the rest of the staff was disappointing. Most of the staff was cold and distant and the dragqueen MCing was just mean and intrusive to everyone he interacted with. People were visibly offended and hurt and someone even mentioned not wanting to be disrespected after his comments. Drag spaces typically foster a safe and uplifting environment for people. Friday night was far from any of that. Very unpleasant experience.
Came to the Montrose Country Club for a show and had a chance to order some yummy entrees and appetizer. I ordered the Bellini drink and meatloaf. It was very delicious and the drink was huge lol. I was very happy lol My husband ordered the Optimist drink and meatballs. He enjoyed it. Our friend ordered the Prosciutto sandwich and he said he loved it. We both took our plates to go because we couldn’t finish it and it was just as good the next day. We enjoyed the show, ambiance is beautiful and staff were attentive. This was a great experience.
I regret not taking pics of the burlesque show but I was too busy watching to focus on my phone! Entertainers weee fun and attractive! My birria grilled cheese and Cap’n Crunch onion rings were good. Wife liked her Swiss and mushrooms burger. Would love to come back when it warmer to see what’s up with that pool!
I visited with my sister to their pool on a Sunday around 2pm and we were afraid that we wouldn’t get a spot but we got lucky and found a couple chairs. You pay $35 per person and you get a wristband. The music wasn’t too loud that you couldn’t carry on a conversation and service was great. I ordered their frozen special - blood orange something and tasted not too sweet and super refreshing. The Baja chicken wrap tasted bland but the fries were good. Didn’t expect much tbh but I was hungry. They also have changing booths in each corner by the pool which is super convenient. I really liked the atmosphere, just wished we were informed ahead of time of the 20% automatic gratuity. The server shows you the total but no breakdown of the items such as gratuity. Nowhere on their menu says gratuity of 20% is included and the server also didn’t bother to say anything either so I double tipped without having any knowledge.Being this as a new place, I would suggest adding that on the menu because this could definitely be a legal battle with other patrons not having any knowledge of this business practice. I guess I’ll have to be super careful if I come again.
Okay this place is a DIAMOND! The vibe is so good but so is the food, entertainment, service and aesthetic. We had brunch AND dinner here and everything was perfect. I highly recommend you check out this place on a Friday night for the show or Sunday brunch if you can get in because it’s soo awesome! The food is delicious, fresh and well prepared. The cocktails & mocktails are thoughtfully perfected. And the place is so gorgeous and just really takes you out of this world. The staff is AMAZING, friendly, welcoming and attentive.Seriously Don’t miss out on this place!
Great summer poolFun people, great service. They address you with “my love” and I love this! Couscous salad was great. Espresso martini rocks. Great Sunday brunch and entertainment is TOP! Great PEOPLE WATCHING!
We had an unforgettable experience at this club! The food was absolutely incredible, yummy 😋 The show was nothing short of outstanding, keeping us entertained and captivated the entire time. This place truly deserves every level and is a must-visit for an amazing night 🌙 out!! 4/13/3025We'll be back!!
Went for my birthday for lunch, had a great time. Everyone was friendly. Awesome music, service was great, food was good, love the decor. Will definitely go back.
Jeff and his team have done a fantastic job. The new setup with the pool, fresh food, and drinks is a wonderful addition to the community. Great music, setup, vibe, staff, and everything. I’ve been 2x now since its opened and can’t wait to come back more this summer.
I regret not taking pics of the burlesque show but I was too busy watching to focus on my phone! Entertainers weee fun and attractive! My birria grilled cheese and Cap’n Crunch onion rings were good. Wide liked her Swiss and mushrooms burger. Would love to come back when it warmer to see what’s up with that pool!
absolutely amazing! first drag show event i’ve ever been too and best day of my life!! everyone here is so welcoming and sweet and really make it the best experience ever. i will continue coming here nonstop!!
The drag brunch was so much fun! Service was really good and I felt like they were actually happy I was there. I asked for a drink that wasn’t on their menu but the bartender asked how it was made and we laughed when we googled the recipe at the same time. It was delicious by the way. I had the sour dough club sandwich which was massive. We were celebrating my 70th birthday and I really enjoyed myself. The entertainment was fantastic. The interaction with the ladies was the best part of the visit. I never thought I’d be twerking (I use the term very loosely) at my age but we all had great fun.
Well this was fun. Food was good but I wasn't really hungry. I wanted to drink more than anything. Service was on point and of course had to go to a drag...

First time to Rich’s! Pretty, elegant decor on the inside and outside patio - definitely photo-op worthy. I attended a burlesque show last night and tried the Birria grilled cheese sandwich and the Cap n Crunch onion rings. If you like onions, the onion rings are a must try at this place. Service was friendly and attentive. The drinks were not bad either. Parking is free on the streets if you can make it in time.
So much fun!!! We attended a drag brunch on Sunday!! The food at Rich’s was delicious and fresh. The atmosphere was LIT ⭐️ beautiful and exciting!! Service was phenomenal!! I can’t wait to go back.
A great atmosphere with the right vibes for a great time. Food was awesome, staff was amazing, and the entertainment was phenomenal! We went to dinner and the burlesque show, and then again for drag brunch. Both experiences were fantastic and I want to come back for more!!
We were there Saturday night for the Burlesque show, and again Sunday for brunch Drag show. Both times were amazing! The shows were so much fun and very entertaining. The food was delicious! Service was great! I definitely recommend, and can’t wait to go back! Also excited for the pool to be finished!!
Okaaaaay, Rich's was a whole vibe and I'm glad we came. We needed a quick dinner date and I had been wanted to try this place. You know you're in for a...
This place definitely has a vibe. The drag show was alright. I have been to drag brunches in various places so this was not a bad one. The food I had was very mediocre at best. The fries had a cream and something spicy on them. The chicken and waffle was like a bag chicken filet on top of a waffle. Drinks were good. The queens were decent. I would actually come back to try something different on the menu.
Meet the ladies for Brunch. Great food! I thought we were going to a restaurant but this was a restaurant with a show. Delicious food nice presentation. The...
Everything was great! The food was delicious, drinks were okay, the service was average, the ambiance was EVERYTHING!!! The spot is decorating super cute...
Outrageous show charge fee $20/person. Unorganized. We have to set n help out with our table. The drag show lip sing is not worth that much. Is not a Las Vegas show. They probably will up charge when the pool is open. The food isn’t great. My fries were salted. Keep doing that you will lose business. For that price per person that is ridiculous. Beware people from out of town.

Everything about Rich’s is great. The atmosphere, music, food, the friendly staff. Second time here and I would definitely comeback! If you’re in Houston you need to try Chef Diego’s cuisine.

This place was really cool! Did not except the show when we arrived but it was so much fun! Drinks were great but food sadly wasn't. Definitely will be back, loved the environment and vibe!

I'd rate this establishment at 4.5 stars, but I've rounded it up to five stars for this review. The cuisine exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was both pleasant and lively. Even with the restaurant bustling, partly due to a Selena tribute event, the service team remained prompt and observant. The garlic parmesan fries were irresistible—I couldn't stop eating them, even after they had cooled down. The cleanliness of the venue, coupled with enjoyable entertainment, made my visit worthwhile. Well done, Rich's.
The revamped style and ambiance in Rich's is so amazing. Love the decor and vibe of the entire place, inside and outside. We went for drag brunch and the...

Didn't get 50% off of our tab as advertised for their soft opening and bringing it to their attention on the same day, they didn't bother to adjust the amount, only suggested I come back for another meal, AND, speaking of their food... I'm sorry to say, HORRIBLE. At least the hamburger is, it was downright vile. Like a huge slice of a round loaf of some type of meat. Didn't even taste like hamburger, and it was simply horrible. On the bright side, the onion rings, coated in Captain Crunch were delicious... But room temperature, not the slightest bit hot. They should stick to cocktails.Oh yeah.... They also automatically add a 20% tip to your bill. I hate that, we were a party of 2, and if they hadn't "forced" a tip on me, I'd have left more, but dropping that amount into our bill without mentioning it... well... that's all you get. Except after a lengthy argument with management wanting me to come have another meal instead of refund my money... I told them to give our overcharge to the server since I'm not eating there ever again. Server was pleasant, so that's the positive comment I can add.
I recently dined at Rich's, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The food was amazing. Each dish showcased a perfect blend of flavors. The service was equally outstanding—attentive, friendly, and prompt. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. What truly sets Rich's apart is its welcoming and friendly environment. From the moment we stepped in, we felt a warm and inviting atmosphere that added to the overall dining pleasure. The attention to detail in creating a comfortable space did not go unnoticed.I highly recommend Rich's to anyone seeking not only a fantastic meal but also a memorable dining experience. It's a gem that combines exceptional food, impeccable service, and a genuinely friendly ambiance.
I came here on a weekend and thought I would give the food a try. To say the least, the food was extremely flavorful and definitely hit the spot! I ordered the gumbo, jambalaya balls and the chicken sandwich. Highly recommend this place!
This review is for ReBar:It was a fun drag brunch experience for my very first drag brunch! I had quite a few frozen margaritas — one of the times I reordered a frozen one, they accidentally brought a regular one and just told me to keep it, then brought me the right one. So safe to say, I had a bit too much to drink.Nothing special about finger food we ordered, but it was still good. We sat outdoor for the drag brunch, it was drizzling a bit, but not that much of a bother. The performances was incredibly entertaining, although I wouldn’t recommend bringing underage kids NOT because of the drag show (LOVE IT), but because the raunchiness might just be a tad inappropriate for little children.
Celebrated my birthday with Brunch and a Drag show - Sunday Service at the Re bar. The energy of this place was EVERYTHING. It was nothing but positive vibes. Great food, music, drinks and amazing show. You will be entertained the entire time because of the phenomenal host "BlackBerry". The wait staff was attentive and friendly.
We had the most amazing time! Went for drag brunch and had a blast. A party of 5 so we had to put a card down as a deposit but it was so easy and worth it. Food is decent, not the best, not the worst. But the food and drinks are VERY fairly priced for todays economy. The show was fun, interactive and entertaining. Definitely check it out, we had the best time.
What a fun time! This is a very good 3-star review... the "just okay" aspects were the food and the actual numbers/performances of each queen... although...
Great experience. Went for brunch on Sunday and watched a great drag show. I had no idea Sundays could be so lit. I had a veggie omelette which was delicious. My friend had the flat bread which she loved. The bathrooms were clean with tall doors. I love how despite it being unisex it feels like a personal stall. The decor is nice. They have two bars, one outdoor and one indoor. We parked on the street but they have valet. Prices are reasonable and staff is always nice. After the show ends, you can hangout outside and order drinks. My friends and I will definitely go again.Update:Went for brunch again and had the French toast and beignets. The food was delicious. My friends had the burger and the chicken and waffles. The only complaint was not enough syrup for the waffles. The performances were great, they had high energy and beautiful costumes, make-up, and hair.
I was so excited when some friends invited my out to Rebar - I didn't know that Houston had a civil engineering (or construction) themed bar. I was disappointed to find out that the bar does not have anything to do with the construction industry, however I did enjoy that experience over all. Despite a reasonably large crowd it was easy to get drinks and the music was great.
Thank you, ReBar! Your Drag Brunch was the perfect way for us moms, sisters, & friends to celebrate our beautiful bride-to-be! Blackberri is wonderful and...
DJ Jusko being such a sub-par DJ….the playlist consisted of remixed early 2000s songs and barely any 2010s songs. Okay vibe for New Years but could have been better.
I went with a group of friends on Halloween Sunday. The music was great. Latino Reggae and Pop. They seemed short staffed at the Bar but we still had a great time.
We decided to come for Sunday Service brunch - the show and the energy was amazing! We were glad to be seated inside for the show since it was so hot and...
