Clearly NOT a club for tourists but for 50yo Greek men.The DJ in Wednesday and Friday need to get FIRED!! Awful music.. Every song is a bad remix.. This club needs to close.. It’s awful..
Scape Club (Gazi, Athens) - Honest ReviewI want to share my real experience and what other visitors have also reported about S-Cape at lakchou 32, Gazi, Athens.Although this place markets itself as an inclusiveLGBTQ+ club, many people — including myself - have faced discriminatory and unfair treatment at the entrance. Some guests have waited for a long time only to be passed over while others were let in first without clear reason. Other reviews show that people felt unwelcome, stared at, or mistreated because of their ethnicity or appearance.Wanderlog +1Several reviews also mention issues with door staff attitudes and club management, including unfriendly behavior by the doorman and expectations that aren't applied equally to everyone.Gay AthensBecause of these consistent reports from visitors, I strongly suggest that anyone who values respect and fairness take caution before visiting this venue.
I’m not from Greece, and this is clearly a local club for local people NOT TOURISTS! The music was really good, and the security team genuinely hyped up the atmosphere. The lady giving out the entrance drinks was super lovely too. However, the bar experience was honestly very disappointing. There was some confusion with our drinks — security told us we could get an extra shot, but the bar staff didn’t agree. Instead, they decided to charge us twice for our shots.A single shot is €3, yet for two shots they tried to charge €9 by card and €6 in cash. The second time we ordered shots, it suddenly became €10 for three. I have no idea what kind of pricing system they’re using or why they cant do math.We also paid the entrance fee because we were told there would be a drag show… and just so you’re not left wondering: there was no show at all.Overall, it was such a disappointing club. I genuinely can’t recommend it — go literally anywhere else.Unless you’re a local, stay as far away as possible. Every other club is 1000% better! Even the Irish pub next door was a far nicer experience, and they weren’t even particularly excited to have us there.
The girl at the bar had a terrible attitude and the service was extremely poor. She was unprofessional, unfriendly, and made the whole experience uncomfortable. Definitely not coming back.
We went here after an amazing night in athens. We have been here for a week and this is the absolute WORST experience we’ve had all week. Profiling as an inclusive club while being discriminating and racist is beyond belief. Especially the person at the entrance was extremely condenscending and gossiping about us in Greek which we understood because one of us is greek. They were staring at us and kicked a person of colour out bc they allegadely touched someone while no such thing occured. The LEAST inclusive experience i have ever came across in Europe. Absolutely disgusting.
Do not use credit or debit cards!Future customers should be very careful when purchasing entry tickets to this venue. We were charged twice via POS due to poor ticket office management. They claimed that “the payment didn’t go through” and gave us no receipt. In the end, we were able to enter only after paying in cash — again without being given a receipt.Stay alert!
This was one of the most blatantly racist experiences I’ve ever had. While subtle stereotypes exist in many places, this was the first time I truly felt unwelcome simply because of my ethnicity. We waited in line for over an hour. While we were still waiting, our non-Indian friends were let inside — without issue. We assumed we’d be next once some people left, but instead, the staff started letting in people who had just arrived, bypassing us completely. To make things worse, we overheard someone inside explicitly telling the doorman not to let us in. There was no other explanation — we were dressed appropriately, behaved respectfully, and waited our turn.If you’re Indian, or someone who values fairness and respect, I strongly recommend avoiding this place. No one deserves to be treated this way.
Small place where people smoke inside. So all your clothes smell of smoke. Music was too loud for the speakers. If you like twinks, this the place. For me it felt like a queer kindergarten.
I would give 0 stars if i could, the music is quite nice but one of our friends phone was stolen and they did not reply to any messages nor tried to help in any way. A club that preaches social courage and solidarity but is all bark no bite!
although the music was okay, nobody tried helping when my friends phone was stolen. we found ourselves in a very bad situation and the people working there did not answer when we were trying to get any further information about the theft.be aware of the people that say they go there regularly since they seem to know the stuff and they scam people.
The attitude of the people working there, for the rat hole that it is, is unacceptable. The place is very crowded and tiny and on weekdays they purposely do not open the upper floor and the back stage to make us crumped and feel that it is full. If you are lucky you wont get cholera from the two tiny bathrooms. Abominable
I am very disappointed with this club. It was my first time in Greece. I went to the Scape Club. I only stayed for 30 minutes because I can't stay inside. There's a lot of smoke in a closed place. There are a lot of people smoking. I can't stay inside because it was impossible to breathe in the smoke. I still come here on holiday , but I won't go to this club again.👎👎👎👎👎👎
First of all I have to give they have good music but if you wanna dance and maybe find someone to talk or even wanna take home it’s kinda impossible. If you’re bottom is just no possibility. And so many girls most of them looked straight. Also it was so crowded. Gay clubs I was in Germany have limit for the people amount. I guess here they don’t. You can’t walk around or even go bar or toilet. They also didn’t have smoking place or less crowded place to spend some time. Maybe it was Greek experience of partying but I expected way more tbh. Also atmosphere is not so good.
music is euro dance  shots are 1-2 euro, 5 euro entry with 1 welcome shot, dance zones are bit small but everyone is friendly, one diwnside is people are smoking inside.
