I visit the Deutsche Eiche Sauna occasionally and usually enjoy it, but my recent experience at the reception was disappointing. When my virtual card didn’t go through, the staff member responded with noticeable impatience, and the interaction escalated instead of being handled calmly. I felt spoken to in an unprofessional way for simply trying to sort out a payment issue. This left me feeling unwelcome, and I’ve contacted management in the hope that the situation is addressed so guests feel respected.

Rude staff!!I visited the sauna last Saturday, when entering a staff member told me 18€ is for the whole day so i relaxed for about 10 hours and at the end they charged 10€ extra, the only reason i stayed longer was because of the miscommunication which was purely fault of the staff member, but they didn't accept their mistake and were rude at the end.

So clean! Seems like a hotel sauna.Way expensive. There is no privacy. No private cabins for private sex. Only open cabins included in the entry free.If you want the old far ugly guys to not disturb you, you have to pay extra, or perform for free in front of them.Jacuzzi very tiny for all the people that get inside. It gets full fast with fat guys that occupy double seats laying all over looking at you as if they had any chance. Grotesque scene. One janitor in charge of a toilet on the stairs always looking guys with a adog face like if he is homophobic. He started shouting in german to a couple of good looking guys cause there was no place and went to pee together in a stall. He grabbed their arms in an agressive way without any touching consent. Very rude and creepy for a place that charged their customers 30,50€ entry free with flip flops.Better spend 54€ in a hotel room in Haupbahnhof area and set your selected private party to avoid the mummies, the orks and the zombies touching around without any consent.Disgusting experiences. Never coming back.

Edit to the reply: that happened on Sunday 21.09 I can’t remember the exact hour but some time between 8 and 10 PM. I informed a blonde guy at the front desk.Original review: I visited Deutsche Eiche gay sauna last weekend. The facilities were clean and the space itself is large and well-maintained. The crowd was mostly friendly, but noticeably more pushy than in other saunas I’ve been to.The real issue: I witnessed some guy clearly experiencing an overdose (I work in the medical field). I immediately informed the staff at the front desk and returned to stay near him in case he collapsed. Shockingly, no staff ever came to check on him!! I had to watch over him alone for more than 30 minutes until he regained consciousness. That level of negligence is unacceptable and dangerous! A place that large and busy should have clear protocols and responsive staff in emergencies. They failed completely in that regard.

Great check-inGreat massage, surprisingly great massage.A lot of hot guys. Super clean. Nice staff. The only negative feedback is the guy at the bar wasn’t helpful when I asked for some recommendations to eat outside of the sauna. His answer was “Google it and you’ll find out” which I thought wasn’t really hospitable. But I guess it was too late and he was tired. Other than that, amazing experience overall! Thank you and I’ll be back!

I dont know who is writing bad reviews to this place, because i think its one of the best (if not the only 1) sauna in EU and i visited a lot of them. Stuff is super friendly, speaking english. When somebody stole my towel, while i was busy, i just came to the desk and i didnt even ask for the towel, guy at the reception just saw me and gave me the new towel free of charge without any questions or hesitation. Place is unbelievably clean, full of guys of any skin color, body type, age etc. Rooftop with the area for smokers, lots of cabins. I didnt know they are not free, never use them. Price of 29e is nothing for this place, who thinks its a lot - i invite you to Barcelona to a nightmare sauna where you will pay 40e and leave with candida all over your body. Thank you, guys! Definitely come back in november, because now i want to show this place to my friends 🙂

Today, I visited Sauna Deutsche Eiche for the first time, as this is my first visit to the city. I found the sauna online and arrived around 16:00 on 26.07.2025. As explained, the payment procedure is handled upon checkout. At 21:58, I checked out and paid the total amount of €32.50 by card. At that time, I also returned my towels, slippers, and locker key (Locker #131). Afterward, I noticed the bar in front of the reception and asked if I could stay a bit longer just to have a drink. The receptionist agreed.I ordered a Radler beer at the bar and stayed there for nearly an hour. Since all payments—including for drinks—are handled at the reception, I later went back to the receptionist to settle the beer bill. I also asked if I could go back inside the sauna if needed, and mentioned that I was willing to pay the full entrance fee again if necessary. However, the receptionist (his name is Julia) suddenly accused me of not having returned the key, towels, and slippers. I calmly explained that I had already returned them during checkout, and that I was only sitting at the bar for a drink. I also honestly told him I hadn’t paid for the beer yet, which I was now trying to do.Instead of handling the situation professionally, he became aggressive and confrontational. He told me to leave and said, “Come with me and I’ll show you the way out.” I was shocked and embarrassed by his behavior. I remained calm throughout, speaking in English, and never raised my voice or acted in any aggressive way.On the way out, I spoke with another staff member—a kind part-time employee from Ukraine with tattoos—who listened to my explanation and was very understanding. I showed him the payment receipt for the sauna, which was already charged to my card. The only thing left unpaid was the beer, which the receptionist refused to charge me for, and instead chose to throw me out.If this receptionist is tired or unhappy with his job, perhaps a customer-facing role is not suitable for him. Working in hospitality requires patience, respect, and proper customer service—all of which he lacked in that moment. His behavior also felt discriminatory, which made the experience even more upsetting.I’m sharing this feedback not to create conflict, but to express how disappointed I am with how I was treated as a first-time guest.

When visting saunas in EU, I usually check on reviews before going and i must admit i went there without any expectations, but have to say this sauna is huge, has lots of rooms to play(free of charge) although i have seen coments that they charge! They have private rooms for play and they are chargeable which is normal, sauna is great, like Finish room, etc, clean and has bar for drinks.Would reccomend to visit!

I am only giving this a three star because of the clientele. The facility itself is really nice, big and clean. Front desk check-in was nice enough. Limit 5 hours of stay, after that it's extra. Slippers are extra. Free first towels, after that it's extra. Now, two stars off because of the clientele. Most people there were old white guys, in their 40s-60s, and out of shape. Second, there were not that many people there. I went on a Friday evening and there were hardly anyone there, so maybe I thought I came at the wrong time. I asked the front desk when on Sat and Sunday should I come back, and was told between 3-8pm, with Sunday being the busiest. Came back on Sunday at 5.30pm. Dead, only a few old white men roaming around. I left after an hour. Was expecting more from all the hypes, but was really disappointed. In response: If there were in fact 250 people there, I have no idea where most of the 249 people went. Maybe they were eating at the restaurant or having private parties in their cabins? It looked more like 25 people max.

This is the worse experience I've ever have. the place is nice..but never saw that you payed for the cabins. its simple ridiculous.. in any sauna of the world I saw this happen .. less in EuropeVery expensive for nothing.. guys behave on a pathetic way cause almost none wants to pay to use the cabins.. . it's amazing how this people rubber an steel gay guys in that way they do, they are very abusive. Don't understand how we can permitted this. ?Why guys accepted this mistreated? and the dare to say that in other saunas you payed for use the cabins. false false and false .... this place must be closed.. if I were the major of the city I'll certainly punish this abusive place..

This is simply the best sauna I’ve been to, comparing locations in the UK, USA, and Russia. When I say it’s large, I really mean it – you might even get lost. It’s very, very clean. It’s the first sauna I’ve seen with a special douching station and heated floors. There are plenty of places to play, even if you didn’t purchase a room. The glory hole maze is amazing. It’s a must-see, even if you don’t get lucky with the audience that night; you’ll enjoy the authentic cruising atmosphere

Nice place. Clean and well equipped. You have everything you need. Spacious changing rooms with hairdryers. Relaxation room, wet area with hot finnish sauna, jacuzzi for 6-7 people (pure water), few open showers and a steam rooms. At -1 there is a large play area with private cabins and labyrinths. A huge plus is the nice bar with a dining area with cooked food from the restaurant. Lovely service staff. Good job 👍

The under 30 discount isn't worth the catcalling and unsolicited touching.Even with all the facilities at the sauna I cannot recommend any younger guys go there alone to relax or try to meet fellow queer people anywhere below 30.Random men who could be my father's or grandfather's age cat called and touched me unprompted while showering or meditating in the public saunas. The lack of any visible staff made me feel more unsafe than in any club or dive I've been to before

Great sauna in MunichThe place is super clean and modern. This is a rare sauna in Europe. The sauna sprawls over many floors with multiple mazes and opportunities to meet and play. The wet area includes steam rooms and maze, dry saunas and spa. Again the space is clean and modern. The changing room is well lit. There is space for relaxing and snacks or drinks.Highly recommend. One of the best saunas I’ve visited in Europe.
