Complaint About Improper Treatment by Waiter DanielDear Manager,I would like to formally complain about the treatment we received from waiter Daniel. Waiter Daniel unfairly kicked us out, claiming we were drunk, which is completely false. Waiter Daniel was rude and acted without any reason. While waiter Daniel treated us poorly, the security staff was very good with us. The security staff was polite and professional, unlike waiter Daniel. I repeat, waiter Daniel treated us unfairly, and we demand a response. We appreciate that the security staff was very good with us.Sincerely,Alexko.
Never to be repeated!!!We are a group of 7 customers who wanted to have a couple of beers after dinner The waiter Daniel and a friend serve us outside the bar We order 7 beers and we get ready to dance. At the moment we order 7 shots of the house and they serve us a shot with the following ingredients: - Baileys (cream liqueur) - Vodka - Whipped cream - Tabasco Two shots are returned and we ask for an explanation. The waiter replies that the shot is correct. We order 7 beers again and we ask for the manager. They tell us that he is not present with laughter. We do not insist and we go to dance. We order some shots that cost us 500 seks… Shortly after when we order again the security staff very kindly inform us that they do not serve more beer and that we please leave the bar. Unacceptable treatment by the waiter, an abusive price for the drinks and the feeling of mockery and lack of respect is very serious
Cool concept, it is kinda a 3 in 1 bar since it is divided into different areas that play different music, one English, one Swedish and one more quite for talking so you can freely move around. Good music and fast services, prices are ok for Gamla Stan. They force you tho to leave your things in the wardrobe and pay 40kr/piece.
The atmosphere was okay, and the music was decent, but the service was disappointing. The bartender was unwelcoming from the start, and when a fly landed in my drink after just two sips, I was only offered a spoon to fish it out instead of a replacement. The place stinks of a bad smell and the cushions are so gross and old.The lack of customer care and the bartender’s rude attitude made for a disappointing experience. Wouldn’t recommend. Will definitely not go back.
Nice beer, bar staff ok. Atmosphere a bit boring and dated. InSecurity staff rudely and suddenly ask you half way through a second drink to go outside to an adjacent property to check coats in, when its below zero degrees outside. We drank up and second insecurity guard then tried to physically prevent me leaving from the entrance where first one just told us to go. Funnily enough women were allowed to keep coats with them.
Great music but not loud enough at all to be a club…. I wish it got louder after midnight and was more of a club. No one wanted to sing because you’d be able to hear it…. We only paid 40 kr for the closet before midnight on a saturday.
The place had a weird smell, like the bathroom was not working correctly.Pretty pricy, I spent $35 on 3 drinks.I came around 7 pm and it was empty, it was ok, you know, just to get to know the place.
The security guards are shockingly rude and racist. I visited twice—once with a group of friends and the second time with my partner. On both occasions, I was denied entry under the pretext of being drunk, even though I hadn't had a single drink all night. I am from Latin America, and it was disheartening to see that I wasn't the only one facing this issue. After reading other negative reviews, I found numerous complaints from fellow Latinx individuals who experienced the same discriminatory treatment. It's evident that there's a recurring problem of racism here.Being part of the LGBTQ+ community means inclusion, not just in terms of sexual orientation or gender identity, but in every aspect of society, including race, religion, and nationality. This bar does not uphold that principle and is tarnishing the message our community strives to convey. I recommend avoiding this place; there are better options in Stockholm.
The security interrogated me on entrance what ive been drinking and told me im only allowed 1 drink inside. I wasnt even drunk. When i told him its not nice to be asked this he told me to find another bar. Yes, I agree.Completely unacceptable
To the owner/manger of this place you need to replace the bartender you had on shift on Tuesday the 5th of November. We arrived in Stockholm only a few hours before going here. My partner and I had never been to Sweden before and was looking forward to a nice drink somewhere before exploring the city. From the moment we arrive we noticed how quiet the place was compared to all the other busy bars and clubs in the same street/area. I went to the counter and the bartender barely acknowledged me. In fact I wasn’t even sure he took my order until he left the bar and went behind me (obviously the kitchen or something). I look down at the eftpos machine and can see the cost of the drinks and a piece of chocolate cake. This is the only reassurance I have that he took my order. My partner and I take a seat as he comes over to deliver our drinks and again doesn’t say a word to us, even though we are trying to engage with him. We have obvious accents and could potentially be a conversation starter or something to make us feel welcome or something but nothing. Not long after somebody else, brings me my chocolate cake. The cake wasn’t anything special, not enough at least to warrant the kind of unwelcome feeling we both got while being there. We both, while not discussing it with each other until we left, felt the same.As we left we thanked the bartender thinking perhaps he hadn’t heard us previously and again no acknowledgment. I will also say that while being there, he didn’t acknowledge or engage with other patrons too.
The least inclusive and acceptance place in Stockholm! An absolutely disaster! Our whole company was asked to leave because the "guard" thought one of the girls had a to short skirt! Not a place anymore should ever visit! Especially if you think people should be included!
By far the worst DJ music I have ever heard. Not one song was danceable. Poppy, bad, to old crappy tecnho. The security guard acted like a tyrant, the bartenders need training in customer service, they did not care what so ever. The front door guy was the only nice vibe we got. Will never go back, nor will I ever recommend this place. A dump, with bad music and unfriendly staff. STAY AWAY, THERE ARE BETTER PLACES
A couple girlfriends and I went to this bar to have a nice time but one of us was thrown out for being “too drunk”. She was sitting down waiting for another friend to fiver a drink and she was thrown out! The security staff was rude and condescending to us when we tried to get an explanation. The local Swedish guys we met there were scared of the staff, and that says a lot! We are from Iceland and this never happens there. Would never go here again and will tell everyone to avoid it like the plague!!
We stopped by on a Friday afternoon after exploring Gamla Stan. The place was mostly empty, but we enjoyed burgers and several drinks in the front seating area.I'm sure the vibe at night is much different, during the day felt more like a calm gay café vs. a busy gay bar (which is fine with me).
Impressed at how good it was during the super busy pride period! Many rooms that ranged from busy dancing to chill quieter hang out spots. The people were nice and the mood was good.Sam is a delight and kept us coming back.
Awful service, was not let in with my girlfriend because the bouncer thought I had "couple of drinks", which in reality was the extreme opposite. With his skills of reading body language and people he is a danger to himself and others while "performing" his job. Total unprofessionalism, no enthusiasm in understanding, service and spirit of welcoming hospitality, something that purportedly this place should be all about. Avoid this place of fake posing and artificial show-off, as these kinds of places are actually the ones giving a bad rep to the freedom of the LGBT movement! Such a shame.
We came to this place twice. Different experience in the afternoon than the evening. Great place to stop for a quick drink. It’s on a very touristic side of the city.
If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Walked up and said good evening to the security guard and his response was not tonight. I asked why thinking...
It was ok. I think the layout is very interesting but it gets extremely warm inside so the ventilation isn't the best. The were playing some pretty good...
