“What you see is what you get”... the urinal with the glass wall . An important part of the male body is visible, never the face - but always with an automatic washing system for the glass screen. In which other cinema can you get to know the main actor of a thrilling film immediately after the performance and also experience and admire all the other exhibits of the event up close?
Our parties Sunday afternoon ( Naked/Naked Mask ) meeting point for attractive Viennese and Vienna tourists!
I cannot describe the racism and brutality experienced from this bar that I myself witnessed. I am deeply sad by this , as I enjoyed my visit to Vienna for the first time , and now going to a gay bar like this one , unfortunately made things sour. Any person of colour or black person please beware of receiving the short end of the stick from the staff. From poor service , to gossiping about me , to giving me a bad attitude, and finally grabbing me by the arm for making this comment and putting me out the bar - literally embarrassing me infront of all the other guests. It was a humiliating experience.Despite the comments below from the staff , saying that “I was not at the bar” (that was later edited because they saw my comments)“ I was indeed at the bar, I even have photos that can prove, anyone can contact me via Instagram or any other platform, and I can also tell you how I was forcefully removed aggressively by the barman. This just shows that they are guilty for what they done.It is also very unprofessional , and a denial of racism. It is extremely sad for a gay bar to commit such acts to queer minorities , I, myself am in shock of these consequences and legal action will be considered. I truly hope that this bar will learn from this lesson, gay bars are not known to be racist and to throw people out because of their denial of the issue.Austria is a LGBT accepting country and despite far right political governance in the country, you still have foreigners visiting the country , queer foreigners or more specifically queer people of colour who are foreigners who visit your country . You are raising red flags within the LGBT community , I am sure there is no space for far right LGBT folk in the general LGBT community. In addition, based on your previous comments by several people , you have also discriminated towards queer men , calling them women and not giving them entry, how does a bar do this ?If this is the case of your bar’s “politics” then I sincerely wish the future of this bar all the best.In response to the latest comment made by the owner : The guest is not my issue here , the barman is my issue thus me mentioning the “staff” above. Stop trying to cover your tracks , you know that you are guilty of what happened and of what you did.My advise to anyone reading this , please do not waste you time going to this bar , it’s a waste of time.Lastly , As a former activist for LGBT rights in South Africa , I will be engaging with ILGA and ILGA Europe on this matter , to look into this. Not everyone can tolerate discrimination and unfairness, I will ensure that this does not happens anymore.
Recently on vacation in Vienna for the first time . Visited this laid back cruise bar. Kettenbruckengasse which is the Metro stop U4 Green line that also connects thé Nachmarkt has mini Gay Village vibe going on which you don’t have in the City Centre. So Sling is a night bar very contemporary relaxed vibe . Here the thing I went three times in my vacation it wasn’t super busy but I had fun on those occasions. Staff friendly and the area is like a cool neighbourhood. I be coming back there worth a visit for sure
1st time in Austria today. Went in here with Partner. Tall blonde bar man didn‘t smile or greet us, made me immediately uncomfortable in there. 10 mins later I had a problem with the non-refundable 1 Euro locker key, it may have been my error, i was nervous and it was quite dark. Another customer had similar problem. Bar man glared at us both full of hostility. The other customer and I looked at each other in shock. As i starter to answer the bar man‘s comment he made to me „i don‘t understand why i should lose a euro“ i realised i couldn't enjoy the bar, told him he was rude and we left. Bf said later was glad to leave as atmosphere very bad.
The barman and some of the customers were nice but some random man groped me really hard in the downstairs room, it hurt for several days after. So I cannot recommend it since I had a negative experience ☹️
Probably the worst establishment of this kind I have been to in years. The bar tender was extremely rude and kept making unpleasant comments about each and every client. To top it all off, instead of entertaining or serving his clients, he decided to facetime a female friend/family member of his and shamelessly chatted to her in his language (most likely Serbian) from behind the bar.Shocking. Rude. Unprofessional. Never again.
Better bar ever, I have so much fun there and Kurt was always very gentle. The place is really nice, clean and you can play with many sexy guys all night. For sure I’ll be back many times. Enjoy guys.
I was just there and new customers arrived. They were accused by the bartender of ordering drinks that they did not order, then forced to pay for the drinks that they did not order in order to get their jackets back, and then they left after paying €16 for nothing. The bartender was pretty cute, but I guess he was under a lot of pressure from his boss standing across from him.
Sincerely I expected more from this place. Definitely not a good welcome at the desk (both Tuesady and Sunday, tha days that I was there). Not so clean as I hope, also at the beginning of the evening. Sunday afternoon, Naked event, very disappointing.
The bartender that works during the day ( guy with a beard) and that's off work at 8 or 9pm is a jerk. Not friendly at all. Sometimes the bar stinks of...
