Speakeasy is a place where anything goes and everyone is welcome…as long as you play by our rules. Think of us as the perfect drinking den, we’ve got one hell of a drinks selection, private booths to book, and a warm and welcoming environment for all.
When the sun is shining, our pavement café is the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail or two in between the shops.

Great bar, great prices, they even welcome my little dog with water and treats as soon as we are seated! Being able to bring my dog is a lifeline for me. Staff are exceptional..Thomas Malloch

Looking tired . The entrance looked like a dumping ground for what I think was barriers and those banners thst attach for making outdoor seating areas. These were on the stairs that used to lead to the Trophy Room which no.longer is used. I ordered a Gin and Tonic, which tasted of gas from the gun staff were not interested in changing as to busy carrying on behind the bar with each other .The manager or a young man who seemed to be organising things actually liked like he was of age to be behind a bar.Only decent aspect of the night was the DJ is they are still called that playing 80s hits .lynne mckenzie

was a great nite till some guy thought he could assault my wife. the bouncers protected him. then when i demanded a managers name gave random name david. so i will be contactin the police as the security protected their own as per. felt discriminated against for bein a lesbianJohn Willingness

Went in for a pint of Guinness one night, some tall young lad didn’t know how to pour one properly, looked like his first shift so wasn’t too hard on him. Went back for another round there was a shorter lad think he was called Ben pours a decent pint!Cheap place for a pint would come back 👍Edvin Ketskalo

World traveller, just came at 1am friday and the security asks "where have you been tonight?" What business is it of his? Anyways answered at the shawarma place and before that AXM. Then he says are you alone? I go yes, then he says no singles can come in! I said ok and walked away... No idea what that was. Loosing business just Wiered!!!Sam Hedley

All the staff were very welcoming and down to earth, they were engaging with all their customers and David especially was incredibly attentive to anything we needed. The vibes were great, the kareoke was horrendous but hilarious and the overall environment was very inclusive.Thank you to all the staff who gave me a fantastic night out in Glasgow city centre. 🙂 xStu

I can’t begin to tell you how much fun I had here tonight. The bartenders are genuine sweethearts, the drag queens are #queengoals and the entire vibe was super positive and encouraging. Loved singing up on stage — which I otherwise totally wouldn’t have done. Altogether great. As the bartender said— welcome to your new regular 😎Jason Farmer

Just wanted to leave a comment and say we spent Glasgow pride evening at speakeasy last night and it was a truly wonderful experience!!!! Massive shout out to all the staff 💕 every member of staff was very lovely, helpful and polite…. The bouncer on the door was kind and helpful and friendly (which is the first person people see before they enter a club!) the bar team were kind, quick and friendly, DJ was great….. both the up stairs and down stairs in speakeasy was a great experience - we met two lovely drag queens (brandon(Brandi) and Jay(Danni))they were awesome tooo!! We will most certainly be back! HAPPY PRIDE EVERYBODY!💕🌈damien noble

I can honestly say this is one of the best gay venues in Glasgow! From the bar staff, to the door staff, right down to the DJ!Every single time I’ve went to this place, I’ve had an absolute ball! Can’t thank all the gang highly enough. 11/10 from me.Thanks again for another great night!Keir Drew

Bar staff were the worst I’ve ever experienced the woman was extremely rude. Won’t ever be back here so unwelcoming, felt as if we committed a crime. Got in with our ID’s but apparently aren’t valid at the bar. Don’t waste your money here, it just ruins the vibe of the whole night. If I could rate it no stars I would tbhE Martin

bartender was rude to me, I said nothing just waited to get served which was taking a while which did annoy me but I didn’t complain or take that out on any of the staff, but I got scolded essentially as if i’d been having a go at them. pretty awful night from then on really killed my vibe and made me want to stay away from the bar.LC 1

this place has completely lost all its atmosphere, also the bar staff aren't very engaging, we used to come here once or twice a week however it has certainty lost its appeal.Butterfly and the Gallery are miles ahead of speakeasy in terms of promotions, events and general service.Jamie Kennedy

Had a great night dancing to cheesy pop songs. Bar was very busy and service was very slow on the bar. Thinking they may just have been a bit short on staff at the time as table weren’t being speared either. That being said, all staff were friendly and everyone looked to be having a great time!Louise McCormack
