If your going to charge a cover then please say so on website. Instead get greeted by the little obnoxious whoever that was that worked the door and told me if I have a complaint then go to the website. Which by the way, the menu of events has no mention of cover charge.Please update or change that so surprises.Beside that, it's a great place to dance.

We got in before there was a cover which was nice. Servers and staff were rest and the environment overall was very relaxed and I would absolutely go back. And the TV’s played what most gay bars don’t play anymore which I enjoyed.

Found this bar today with my old roommate. I always find a bar I like 2 or 3 days before heading home....Felt rite at home, bartender that served us was a hunk...he left shortly after we arrived.....dern it.

Studs is fantastic. They’ve got something going on all week, always fun. More importantly, it was one of my first stops while visiting for the first time to PV. I lost track of my phone and the doorman (Gilbert) not only let me use his phone to call my friends but followed up (on his day off) to let us know my phone had been found. The staff here is utterly incredible (especially Gilbert!!!)

Love STUDS!!! Fun, festive bar. Crowd was easy to socialize with. The bartenders were great.........Alejandro on one day and Carlos on the other...........hot sexy, men....very friendly and flirty which is great fun!! Can not say enough wonderful things about these guys!! STUDS is definitely a place to come back to again and again!! See you all next time in PV!!!

If you don’t have cash, it’s $300 min on your card, shady tactics. The roof lounge was the best part in my opinion lol.

Always a fun time at this bar. The staff is always friendly and the entertainment ranges from super funny to super sexy and everything in between. My go to place for a good time.

I don’t get the good reviews for this place. We tried it three times, and every single time they served an overpriced G&T (about £26 for two) in those cheap little plastic picnic cups. Not even the solid kind you get in clubs, but the flimsy ones you’d use for kids at a park. No lime either, unless you ask for it. And when I say overpriced, I mean more than what you’d pay in central London, and that’s after a pretty steep cover charge compared to other places nearby. You can’t really tell how busy it is because they’ve got a curtain at the entrance, but every time we went, it was nearly empty. They also push pretty hard for tips, which just feels off considering the whole vibe.Maybe it’s meant for a certain crowd, but if you’re charging Miami prices in Mexico, at least offer premium service. The first time we went there was no show at all, and the second time there were a couple of go-go dancers who looked completely bored. Still not sure what the cover charge is for.If you head to La Noche, just a five-minute walk away, you’ll get a professionally made cocktail in a real glass with the right amount of ice, a spectacular drag show followed by a strip show, all for about half the price. No wonder this place is always empty.

The only standout feature of this bar is the dark room, which is somewhat unique and may appeal to some. However, the rest of the experience was quite underwhelming, especially considering the high cover charge.The go-go dancers were unusually aggressive in soliciting tips, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The bartender was openly dismissive, stating he only serves “the basic stuff” and couldn’t even provide a drink menu. For a venue charging a premium at the door, this was disappointing.The DJ was actually quite talented, but it was unclear what role he played since there was no dance floor or space to enjoy the music. Instead, patrons were expected to sit and watch increasingly explicit performances by dancers who appeared to be under the influence, with further interaction requiring additional money.Overall, aside from the dark room, the bar felt exploitative and lacking in basic hospitality. I would not recommend it unless your expectations are extremely specific.

Very entertaining place, with great music, drinks and excellent service. Lots of handsome guys to look at and talk to 👍👍👍 There are different fun themes every night of the week, because of which I came here several times during my short stay. The bartenders are super friendly. Early during the evening, they have a great music video mix, and later there's a live DJ. There's also an upstairs level. FYI; some nights require a cover. Definitely a dance club you need to visit while you're in town.

Was there on a Wednesday night, pretty good. Went back on the Thursday, place was pretty empty, had some drinks, went out for a smoke and the guy wanted a 50MXN cover charge to get back in.

We went on a Sunday night. We found a fun, small bar with friendly staff, clientele. The dancers were super sexy, especially if you like muscle hunks! The drinks were good and reasonably priced.

I have been here before and had a great time. This is a more inclusive review. I was looking forward to going all week and it was a let down.The cover charge was made up at the door. The people behind me had to pay twice as much. I’m glad I paid half as much but it would have sucked to stand in line and then been surprised by a cover charge.Drink prices were reasonable and they accepted credit card over like 280 peso charges.The bartenders were great. They were attentive, spoke English, and made the drinks to order. Note-They measure the drinks to an exact shot.If there is going to be a theme night maybe require it upstairs. There was such an awkward feeling of “are we supposed to follow the theme or not” vibe.I should add…It is nice that this has a different vibe than other places in PV. I have enjoyed it before.The music was awful. I mean absolutely horrible. I didn’t want to dance or hear the noise so much that I just left. Very disappointing. There was zero variety to the music but was almost completely EDM and I don’t know why they had a DJ. They couple have played one some over and over and over again.

This sign was an eye opening shout out to the freedom of Puerto Vallarta life. We walked by dozens of times but never made it past the velvet rope. Nos vemos la próxima vez.

I didn’t try the food but the service and atmosphere was excellent. Despite being very busy the bartenders were efficient and friendly. The DJ was great, the music was a little loud for my preference but usual club volume and dance floor was full (after 11pm) The bathrooms were clean but did get backed up a little a times as expected. Lots of good gogo dancers as well.

Such a great place to have in PV! We went after Bingo on Tuesday to get a feel for the place and we were incredibly impressed! Amazing music, a wide variety of people, great drinks and a dark room!! We were so impressed we came back the next night for underwear night and had an absolute blast! If you’re looking for a great, welcoming kink bad look no further than Studs!

So much fun! Super friendly and full of surprises. The bartenders are the best and the DJ knows what he is doing spinning great music I had not heard. The super hot dancer made a complete evening. Most of all, the patrons are the best, friendly and fun!

I have to say that Studs offered the best service I’ve ever experienced at any bar or club. The atmosphere was truly incredible. We enjoyed the Red Room, thanks to my friend Chris, who set everything up. He made sure we had an amazing time with the stunning Gogo dancer, Carlos, and our fantastic server, who went above and beyond to make our night special. This unforgettable experience at Studs has me already planning my return to Puerto Vallarta. There’s nothing like it back in Vancouver.

Staff was all very friendly, enjoyed being there, and were quick with the drinks. Staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone was taken care of and happy! Carlos made great drinks but was also very outgoing, friendly, and made amazing conversation.
