Went here on Saturday for some drinks for a friends birthday. The staff were so welcoming! I have been to this bar many times. However can really see that there has been recent changes. The decor has improved and everyone was really nice. Highly suggest!Ade

This place is now so good! The atmosphere is great and the staff are also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. The drinks are fabulous and the new happy hour promos are fantastic. A lovely venue that's now so much better. It's defo not to be missed.GaySocial HQ

We have a long-standing routine of visiting the Bridge bar, but felt it really important to comment on the huge improvements made recently.This cozy bar has really upped the bouji stakes and left us with the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious drinks, beautiful presentation, fabulous ambience and the décor/layout has been really spruced up.We will be back again more frequently and will spend more time at this favourite, which has really undergone a transformation for the better.A huge thanks to Josh and the team for making us feel so welcome. Service was appalling. Countless times we were served below standard shot measures and told that’s just what they do. Given the cost of cocktails and spirits are expensive, you’d think they would at least give you what you pay for.F London

Visited on a whim as the night I had planned flopped. Was dressed in theme for a Baywatch night elsewhere to be told that, that event was cancelled. I thought where can my friend (from out of London on limited time) still have some fun (in the area) without looking out of place. A GAY BAR DUH!Excellent cocktails, extremely friendly staff, a beautiful and lovely security guard, cheesy tunes and a BDSM Drag show! We couldn’t have asked for more. We had so much fun and we definitely be back!F London

I booked a table at The Bridge on the 2nd of April for my birthday. The service was impeccable and very friendly. I was offered a bottle of Prosecco simply out of kindness. The team there is super friendly and they constantly ensured everything was okay at our table which I really appreciated. I couldn’t have asked for a better service. They really contributed to a pleasant experience. Thank you all guys.J W

A group of us have been coming here for many years. We tend to go in warmer months as it is great for sitting outside and enjoying the world going by.The cocktails are good, beer is lovely, but we would avoid the bottles of bubbles. Just not good quality or worth the price for them.The staff are always friendly and security are great. There are many things to keep you interested when they put on special nights like bingo.Give it a visit in summer!Gabriel Soto

A once great bar let down by poor upkeep and high turnover of staff. Toilets are disgusting. UPDATE: they seem to be trying to improve, but the toilets still a massive letdown. NEW UPDATE: things have improved but still lack of investment shows. Choice of music stuck in some sort of gay time loop but otherwise a bit better! NEWER UPDATE: the tatty wobbly benches have finally been replaced! Things are improving slowly but the staff spend more time sitting drinking and smoking outside than the customers, some of whom had to stand which is unacceptable. I could not rave about the bridge more, this is where I found my community. The staff are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. The performers, comedians, drag acts are all super fabulous and hard working. Vicki + Pab make the bar what it is, they work endlessly to make sure all customers have a amazing experience. Booked a table, got there, they said they don't take bookings. Showed them the email confirmation, said just sit with other people... Fairly unprofessional, just don't understand why is there a booking system if they allegedly don't take bookings. Not even an apology, just blasé.Quentin Nield

As usual made a booking and got a confirmation. Then got an email to state food requirements (albeit with everyone’s email address that booked that evening included (gdpr?)Turned up to be told not honouring bookings, they’ve fired the staff and a manager wasn’t available. Really, it’s cold out in winter. If you’re gonna bump me and the other bookings waiting outside maybe a courtesy call is in order.Will never returnGlad Arch is now openAkeem Lu

We booked last night . Booking confirmed. Received an Email relply of what substantial meals are on offer. Turned up tonight and was told they are not accepting bookings due to new management!!!! Poor customer service!!!!!!!! We are all fuming!!! New management did not even try to rectify the situation,so unprofessional!!!!!! So glad arch is open now!!!Oscar B

Last time that we visited was a Wednesday afternoon around a month ago.Bar itself is nice enough as well as one of the staff working at the time. Long Island Iced Tea was pretty good too. Those are the reasons why the score isn’t lower.On the other hand, the other staff member really needs to drop the attitude or stop working in a face to face role.Just some examples:He was visibly very inconvenient that we didn’t have the app to scan and literally threw the registration board at us.Because we needed a couple of minutes to decide what to drink, we had to wait for approximately 15 minutes to order (there was only 2 other tables occupied but he was busy chatting with friends at the door)In summary, typical gay bar diva attitude.Augustus Biill

Nice environment, good cocktails. My partner and I had a seat inside and got our drinks wiped off from our table even notifying the waiter that we'd just going for a cigarette outside.We had our drinks replaced, however, the bartender mistreated badly the boys who were working on the floor, arguing loudly and underrating the boys.Unpleasant scene to see it! Clearly, there's a bigot working behind the bar.Simmy B.

Genuinely lovely staff, nice and relaxed atmosphere, nice cocktails, good prices (especially the happy hour ones), basically one of my favourite bars here. There is no shouting or pushing either. And the best it's only 5 min from home 🙂Sian G.
