Only recently exploring my sexuality so this is review is from the perspective of a first timer here.First impressions were good. The place is clean and the staffs were helpful contrary to what I expected from other reviews. The first floor has the gym and lockers. Gym equipments are in great condition but unfortunately I didn’t see a a lot of guys come by. I wanted some gym action so bad 😔Most of the cruising and fun happens on the second floor which includes your private rooms and dark play area. Playing in the dark with music constantly on isn’t really my thing but that’s just me. It’s the overall vibe of the place and a lot of other people definitely enjoy it.Finally the crowd was pretty good. i went with 2 friends , i had just had a back surgery and was recovering at my home in lake charles la , and 2 friends said , hey let’s get out of the house and you can ride to houston with us. tshirt , shorts , cowboy boots, i went , they pull into this place , proceeded to go inside ( and not looking behind them,) i only had 18 dollars on me. couldn’t get in , and was told to not wait in the parking lot, ( car was locked ) and was made to leave the property, it was foggy, 3 am and i couldn’t see, no glasses, so i called a friend in lake charles to come get me . as i walked around the block waiting, i was robbed , wallet and phone stolen. and the mcdonald’s wouldn’t let me in to wait on my friend cause i looked homeless. the worst night of my life . i even asked if i could find my friends in the club, ( no). so thank you club houston for getting me beat , robbed , have a little more understanding for people that you don’t know how their situations are. people were very cold and i vow never to return . just to inform others , always have 20$ or your gunna get snubbed , robbed, and cast to the street. I just can’t understand why a bathhouse of this stature would schedule only one person to work the window on a holiday weekend. I get it maybe their short staff, then hire or make someone come in or better yet have the manager come in. This is ridiculous to wait 1 hour just to come in to this establishment and then be disappointed. Who is running this place?? Please reach out to me so I can explain to you how to run a business. As these clubs go, this one is quite nice. Clean. The facility is maintained. The staff, hit or miss but they've always been perfectly decent folks when faced approached w decency. The crowd is also hit or miss. The steam room is above avg. The pool is nice. The hit tub is way over chlorinated (this is why the grout is wasting away. It's been there FOR EVER and a day, so they're obviously doing something right. If I had to complain, the bed and pillow are worse than prison gear. Lol but I don't think many ppl go there to catch some sleep, tho if u did it's a cheap place to crash for 8 hrs.Fucka Bear

Your staff is incredibly rude! I called an Uber around 6AM and your staff member who called himself "Norman" told me he had to investigate everywhere I went. Where I went was the table infront of the checkout to lay down my items and spend 5 dollars on a Gatorade. He was condescending and plain rude. Perhaps you should either chose your staff better or train them.Also since your staff is so investigative, perhaps you could keep people with their mobile phones out of the dark rooms.What a shame this is the only establishment of the art in the area as you seem to be taking pride in your staffs poor behaviour.Kenneth R.

The one star is because I couldn’t leave zero. However, an old white bald guy wearing a shirt that said CREW, was a total d ick to my friend and I ruined the experience and said we were having "too much fun next to the water." I am a 33 year old black man and up until yesterday I have never felt so discriminated against in my life. I do not live in Houston but I do visit 2-3 times a year and during my stays I always go to Club Houston because we do not have bathhouses where I live or anything close to it really. I arrived at Club Houston on 09/25/23 around 4:15pm. Walked inside and greeted the crew member at the register. He looked at me and said, “you were already here today”.For context, I have never seen this man a day in my life at any visit I’ve made to Club Houston. He looked to be possibly Indian. I’ve only ever interacted with the 2 or 3 Caucasian crew members who are usually working at night and another gentleman who looks to be Spanish.I said, “yes kind of but….”. I didn’t finish my sentence, he cut me off and said “then you cannot come in” then proceeded to put my id back on the counter and looked me up and down. I said, “but sir this was yesterday into today, not like a couple of hours ago”. (I went to the bathhouse the night before and left around 2am so yes technically the same day) He responds, “it doesn’t matter you’re not coming in, try tomorrow”, looked me up and down again and walked off. I said sir I do not live here and will be flying out tonight. He said oh well and turned to help someone else. I stood in the lobby and looked around to see if there was a policy posted, there wasn’t. I asked the crew member if I could speak with someone else because I felt that he was being very rude to me. He said, “it’s the policy, there’s no one else for you to speak to” and again turned his back to me.I stepped away from the counter and backed up closer to the door as I waited for another associate to appear as usually I see two. I also went to Club Houston website to look for a list of policies but again, nothing. More people come in, and he assisted them. I asked him where could I see a copy of this policy he is referring to. He didn’t respond, instead picked up the walkie talkie and started saying “4242” to someone and cut his eyes at me. At this point I decided to leave because I didn’t know what would happen next and again, this man had been so rude to me up until this point. I said to him, “I’m going to leave now, but I would like the owners name”. This man looked at me and said “you don’t need anything now GET OUT”. My mouth literally dropped. I never changed my tone, never approached this man rudely, and now he’s yelling at me. I turned to walk out and said “this is discrimination” and he replied “nobody is discriminating against you, you are being dramatic, now get out”. I walked out the door and walked to the corner of street on the outside of the fence for club Houston and broke down. I have never been treated so nasty in my entire life.I’m not writing this review because I want a policy to be changed if it actually exist. I’m writing this because I am truly disgusted with the experience I had and nobody should be treated like that. I have been to club Houston numerous times in the same day where I’ve maybe left at 2am and came back at 11pm in the same day. Club Houston provides each person with the time their admission expires when paying to get into. I have never been told “this is your one admission for the day”. I’m typing this 24hours and I’m still shocked, honestly. That man talked to me and looked at me as if I was gum under his shoe.Update: 11/19/2023 to this day I have not heard anything back from this establishment even after calling and requesting management information. Went this weekend and I walked in and I was greeted by a white man at the desk with glasses on in a beard and he was speaking with a big blackcent and acting like he was a black women. he kept telling black people who came to the desk they wasn’t allowed in if they looked like they had a attitude also a Latino/black man was getting forced out of the club and the cops was there because they called the cops on him. If you’re black you have to be hella nice and give them compliments just to get inside. But when I got inside the club I saw multiple white guys breaking rules and going in rooms they didn’t pay for and the club workers gave them warnings. But they never give warnings to the black people. If they could make this club white only they would. This place needs to be shut down. very racist owners. What a great place. Seriously. When I came in one of the staff thought I was a trans girl, lol. I took it as a compliment. Confirmation that I have reached peak femboy aesthetic. The staff were all nice and understanding. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were all amazing and super clean. The pool is great; however, they are in dire need of new pool chairs and pool patio needs a major pressure wash. Some of the gym equipment needs a deep clean, and some replacement parts. Racist and xenophobic staff at the entrance, refused to accept any other countries national ID apart from United states.Even after matching all the details with a soft copy of passport, they said you should be carrying a physical copy of passport at all times. Went here tonight for the first time. I was expecting a disgusting run down sticky mess. This couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s super clean. Very nice. Upscale. The staff was wonderful and helpful. Met some nice guys. There are areas for adult activities but it’s not like you feel obligated to do that. You can just relax. The hot tub, showers, pool, steam room are all far cleaner than my gym. It’s a very relaxing place to go. I will be back.Jd M.

Honestly, it's the best looking Club so far that I've been to. (Miami, Ft lauderdale, Orlando, Dallas) Very clean, massive jacuzzi and pool. I got a great VIP room. I've been here about 6 times (driving over 4 hours away) and sometimes am dissapointed (and dissatisfied) with the clientele of this establishment. The facilities are wonderful, but the vibe is not there. Also, street parking when the lot is full seems risky, as I noticed LOTS of broken glass around the perimeter. There are tons of homeless and derelict that roam this area; to caution others. Lastly, it would seem as though the Club Houston workers and some long time customers are biased towards non-Hispanic customers. I enjoy Hispanic men, however the "racist styled matchmaking" seems overdone and unnecessary. I would like to give this place another try, but it keeps failing my already low expectations.Tim Whewell

Not sure if the owner sees these online reviews, but this club is well managed, recently remodeled, very spacious, reasonably priced, and kept very clean!That being said, maybe the management should consider offering free locker or low-price locker to youth 18-24, like other many club franchises did. with many colleges along the red line, that would certainly attract other crowds and boost traffic.Since cell phone is not allowed take photos of the facilities, the management should upload a few of photos of the facilities to some of social media sites. (screenshot is from their website, but there are more areas not shown on their website gallery)Their jacuzzi is very large and warm, next to the pool, and has some view over the main shower area.The gym floor and the relaxing sofas are nice but look a bit too spacious and underutilized, maybe can shrink the gym floor and sofa area to add another maze or dark room on the first floor.For a few days visiting the club over the long weekend at different time, the crowds seem to be unpredictable when they would come, some hot guys left during late dinner time, while others come late waiting to check at mid-night.Big thumbs up for crews bleaching the floors, cleaning rooms, and replacing the hot waters of the jacuzzi.Andre M.

Over the years I have been visiting club Houston it’s been a working progress this last time I visited they had remodeled the gym added a new sauna it was very clean and I enjoyed my time there and had lots of fun (VictorNF1 on Kik)Isaias U.

Came here today (12/2/2021) at 4:55 pm.rude clerk, assumed I knew the protocol and procedures for no reason at all except laziness and/or rushing people, like we're an inconvenience or something.Traffic was okay, it was never busy though and I stayed till about 10pm. Very small play area upstairs but it gets the job done. Might be better on a weekend.Blaze Murray (marine1965)

Just moved here from Georgia. My roommates took me. Loved the atmosphere. I enjoyed walking around the place was very clean everyone was nice. Staff was nice and on top of any messes that where made.Greg B.

Staff and management is very unprofessional. They talk to patrons very rudely. I personally was treated terribly when I asked for clarity on the pricing and times. I would not return because it was a very uncomfortable experience for me.Yobanis Rodriguez
