Under 25 free night on Monday was busyStaff were friendly and cleaned regularly.I do feel like they should have dealt with the aggressive guy, who was shouting and threatening anyone who would brush him or reach out to him. I have been to many Sexclub places all over the world but here at the VAULT 139, I am blown away, amazed, it's a cool place, guys of all ages and all styles mix without any problem. What impressed me the most was the great friendliness of all the staff. THANK YOU for this very pleasant moment. I will come back, I totally recommend.Bob Billon

Wow, what a vault.The vault tech staff were no were to be seen .There was no working water, heat or electricity.I managed to find super mutants, I barely made it out alive. That bomb really messed up the world.If there are any other survivors out there please find a safe vault.Vault 92 is a safe one. We had rations of cram and sugar bombs. They later gave us radroach meat though so it's alright I guess. We survived the nuke so that's good. Vault-Tec staff helped us around the vault. Overall it looks nice.Terry

Unfortunately, it has been a few years since my first visit. Visited again yesterday while I was in London for a few days. Staff were very friendly the whole time and constantly going round cleaning. One was very apologetic for some technical issues he was having, which was absolutely fine and one of the staff was kind enough to go out of their way to get my belongings when I heading off instead of me waiting in a very long queue. Will be back again soon.A

Very nice cruising bar with a great atmosphere. The staff are absolutely nice and very helpful—except for the guy at the door. He seriously needs to learn how to deal with customers. He’s way too bossy and makes you feel like a kid. If he thinks his job is to act like that, he should consider switching to a non-service role.That aside, the rest of the staff are wonderful, and the clientele is very mixed, which keeps things interesting. There’s always something going on, especially on Friday evenings when I visited. Overall, a great place to enjoy—just hope for a better experience at the door!A J

Last Tuesday, I visited Vault 139 for the first time. All were very friendly and helpful, they explained very clearly on what to do eg storing box and rules on mobile phone. When I was in the cruising room next to the bar where one of the staff politely asked me to move into the bar where my phone was only allowed to be used, I apologised for that and learned rules better.The atmosphere was so entertaining, I enjoyed good time. Grew more comfortable in a few hours later. Service is first class - easy to communicate especially order a drink even I am deaf customer. I'm definitely going again sometimes.Ryan

Have been here a few times over the last few years when visiting and tonight was no different than always. Great. Sadly issue where someone has fainted and very unwell but the manager and first aider were both wonderful with the situation. The British take on Gran Canaria's Bunker - but cleaner, bigger and nicer staff. Right amount of lighting, good music. I went on a Tuesday, plenty busy enough. Can only imagine what Thursday and weekends are like 🥵£5 for a small can of cider, a bit excessive. 500ml sure, 330ml, nah .. so you lost a star for that. At least provide full size cans.Dennis R

I really like the place and have come several times. The negative reviews are unjust in my opinion. The staff have a lot to endure from the few unreasonable and outright violent visitors that come. I've seen the staff handle shifty situations very calmly. I once had a headache and the staff went out of their way to get me some salt and some water when I asked. Besides they clean the venue very well, have a reasonable entrance fee and are just very courteous. I much enjoy visiting.gDU

This may be the strangest review out I happen to work in a sauna and to be honest you get all sorts of people visiting.One of the main issues I get is when people pay the entry fee.they assume that everyone is supposed to hit on them and when it doesn't happen they write really bad reviews all the guys where I work are super friendly as am I so to all the people who slag off staff who work in these places have a thought as we are paid to work there but some of the things we deal with are not your everyday things and to be honest when you're working the bar or door it's a lot different from the other side of the bar.Remember it is sometimes hit and miss so obey the rules as there to protect you more than you realise and enjoy yourself 🙂Georgi Aleshanov

Pretty decent place offering exactly what you expect 😉 Well kept, a mix of good facilities, good music and overall good vibes. Went on a Friday night and it was super busy. Clientele is pretty mixed, perhaps on the mid to higher side of the age spectrum, compared to central London’s saunas for example, but still truly mixed. Better vibe than saunas in some ways. I was a first time visitor and guy at the door was unnecessarily rude, snappy and unhelpful and that interaction left an awful taste in the first 2 min of my visit - he has no business at all facing customers. The guys at the bar were beyond polite, cheerful and professional and fixed the vibe quickly.A J

Long running cruise bar in a quiet side street near several tube stations. Themed nights with an easy to follow pattern and dress codes. Nothing too complicated, just a good old-fashioned bar. Staff are friendly and helpful, never had an issue in ~7 years. The facilities are decent enough, there are several toilets, as well as a range of play spaces.Osh K

It’s honestly a hit or miss. Thursdays, their busiest evening, usually requires consumers to wait for an hour as they claim to be at ‘full capacity’. This has been going on for months with no sign of trying to improve their service or compensation. Why should people wait for 30 minutes without a guarantee they may enter the venue as it then becomes first come first served? 30 minutes turns to an hour and so on.It’s completely unprofessional and frustrating;they simply have to increase the storage space for belongings. If you arrive after 7pm ( the starting time of the themed stipulation), you will be asked to come back later; repeatedly until someone inside leaves. Don’t bother.Tomas Krejci

I love this place and I am regular weekly after work. It is one of the last bars in London where everyone is relaxed and men go there for one reason and that's not chatting 😀 the staff is always amazing even when I see some guests being rude. Read several reviews of this venue. Nothing like my experiences. Been a couple of times while visiting London over 2023. Mixed bag of guys go here, usually old & out of shape. First time being here and being in a place like this in general and I definitely didn’t like the experience. A staff member banging on the cubicle door I was in and yelling at me because he thought I was filming which I wasn’t. he told me he needs to go through my phone which is bizarre and once he saw I haven’t filmed anything he didn’t apologise or anything just said right ok and left. Was pretty turned off after that and just sat there for a few minutes before getting my bag back and leaving. Mixed feeling about this place. The men present are VGL, hot and willing and there's action going on everywhere all the time. I couldn' enjoy my hook-ups because of the lack of air. The premises are just too small for the number of people and there seems to be no climatisation of any kind. It was not even hot outside. I was there on a Thursday evening and descending the stairs you felt hot airblowing up. Inside it was at least 35 degrees. It was quite unbearable. Hope they have the sense to move to a bigger more appropriate venue. Update September 2023 : Second experience was much better. Wednesday late after 11pm the bar was still busy, but not overcrowded. What a difference with my first time. Nice and cool in the cellar, even during this heatwave.Had a great time with a sexy German. I highly recommend going there when it's not too crowded.Andy Walters

First time and definitely worth the visit. I’m looking forward to my next naked nite this week when I’m going to look for some real action. Friendly and open people with plenty of great action to watch and get excited about. Lots of men of all shapes and sizes on naked night with strong hard action going on in each of the areas. This is easily one of the best on site cruising venues in London. Been several times and it's definitely been a good experience. Thursday is the busiest time and as everyone says, get there early. I was dawdling (nerves due to my first time in a clothes free venue) and had to wait half an hour. However, entirely worth it especially if you have hang ups about nudity - realised I was worrying over nothing. Huge range of guys and most seemed friendly and respectful. I had a good experience there. The price is just 11 pounds, with a free drink.There are various rooms depending on whether you like sex in crowd or with more intimacy. Obviously you can never completely isolate yourself so me and a guy I met there got bothered 3-4 times when we started to have hard sex. But it was ok overall, you just need to say no.IMPORTANT NOTE: you are supposed to leave everything but clothes and cash at the coatchecker, including your phone. That being said, I saw many customers with their phones. I think (but I am not sure) that I saw someone recording us from a dark corner. I didn't want my face to be seen so I had to turn the other way.Apart from that, the other issue is that obviously you cannot wash yourself which becomes an issue after a while. But honestly the cost is more than fair, and the staff are helpful and patient if English is not your mother tongue. Will go there again when I come back to London.pradeep tiwari

Very disappointed, one of the bartender accused me of making mess without any proof, very rude. I told him tell me when and with who - he was first speechless and then told with another bartender, I did something wrong, I told let's clear with whoever you are referring to. If it was another bartender then why he did not complain, why are you complaining and for what?? . He was not even sure what it was. And with who. Such a disappointment, I used to like this club, they should not keep such staff who create confusion and demean someone with no proof. I never make a mess, I am a very decent person and to hear that without any proof that I did what he said. I felt safe welcomed and part of a community the minute I entered. It’s a Perfect location with great ambience and space, providing safe lock up for things and good range of drinks! There’s plenty of places to have fun including some swings and other playful bits 😈 it’s much busier than I expected and has some really hot guys… I was &£&£ing within minutes 😆 so good! It Was clean and smelt good which shocked me also! No shower or washing facilities which is a shame so douche before you go 😝 have since returned to try other days, weekends and night times and it just keeps getting better 😈 🍆 thank you 🙏ibrahim x

Went as a first timer on random Tuesday to check it out thinking it would be empty. Not at all. place was rocking at 6pm and kept getting better and better. Extremely fun. Fit in shape gents especially tend to prefer similar who have put in the time and work. this place was great for that. Otherwise all types there. Outstanding friendly hard working staff as well. Finally seen what the negative staff reviews have all been about. Went on a Monday night for the first time in a while. Place was very busy but it’s a small window. It’s like there’s a secret alarm around 830/9pm when suddenly there are queues at the cloakroom of people ready to leave. The crowd average 40s and index highly for oriental and facial hear (not combined) - so great if that covers your penchant. More guys on all fours waiting expectantly with their butts in the air than I remembered there being. But it’s the staff who create an air of despondency around the place. As far as I saw, nobody was rude or aggressive or lazy. The employees perform the tasks they have been given in an acceptable manner - as prescribed chores: nothing more, nothing less. They emit a sense of malaise like they are being punished and this is their sentence. Perhaps they had just been told their wages had been cut or they were missing Drag Race. Everyone acts like they would rather be anywhere in the world other than here. It’s not that they’re unfriendly, just purely functional. If they had a self-service drinks machine in place of a bar, lockers instead of a cloakroom and automated credit card entry, you wouldn’t miss any of the human touch or personality being replaced.Jonathan Josh Phillips

Visiting London and was guided to this place by a chat Guy on Scruff. Told me Monday was naked, and that happens to be one of my favourites.Arriving at the door, I found out that naked was not until the evening. I was, However, allowed to get naked,My Scruff guide told me there would be no sling, but there IS a slingVault139 12 points!IT was quite busy already at 3 on a Monday afternoonOnly bad thing (which i experience also at the Hardon party Saturday) is the paying for your drinks when served. It’s disgusting that they let people in who they feel like and the people on the door are taking people money! I have taken pics of the place and I will be exposing this to environmental health and the local mp! They should not be able to get away with such a thing and I will be reporting this to trading standers. I read various reviews yesterday ahead of my visit last night. door staff did his job, without an issue. Coat check in was extremely friendly and helpful. The bartender started serving me as he was finishing previous customers.It was very busy with all shapes, sizes and age range who were very friendly, some more so than others "welcoming all" to enjoy...... so I do not know about any attitude amongst clients as mentioned by previous reviews. Even the cute Mediterranean Adonis hooked up with a cute Harry Potter.Place quiets down around nine from peak(but still busy) with customers for the evening who are more relaxed.If you haven't been or are put off by some of the reviews, I suggest you just go and try for yourself, even if it's just for the experience. I use to go there offten and had always great time, also suggest and bring people there. Tonight it was quite weird , scary and annoying. The team member I faced at the cash point told me already off for nocking. In his words "you can nock to death and nothing will change" In a really rude way. I thought I probably shouldn't go in but I did get in. And honestly I did not enjoy anything as I was put off of his behaviour. unfortunately I was able only to stay 30 min. And here we go the same guy who told me off I see him fighting with a customer, pushing an innocent customer and been violent. This is unacceptable. I just feel what just happened with this place. I went there Sunday night. December 4th. The British men are hotter than I expected. The place was packed and it was easy to store and get back all my clothes, they give you a big plastic box and you keep the number on a piece of paper that is in the same little bag that comes with condoms and lube. It's ok, staff on the door have a bit of attitude sometimes. I went for the first time ever and was looking for my friend who'd just arrived and the guy in the booth started shouting about me going through the door to locate him. Had to tell him to calm down. Polite customer service out the window. Crowd is ok if you are more after an older crowd (unlike Sweatbox). The staff behind the bar are nice though and the cloakroom service is for the most part (but not always) efficient.Edit: owner seems to only have arguments when based on inaccuracies. Went on a Monday night. It was moderately busy inside. The staff was helpful with quick service, patient with new comers and keep this place exceedingly clean. The clientele however leaves something to be desired. Pushy, one-sided and clicquish. It's an interesting visit but be prepared to need to go elsewhere to get off. I'm just say is all.David Mathews

Absolutely five stars for the place, the staff, the location.1 star for 90% of the crowd that comes here that could not find their way out of a paper bag if their life depended on it. I was so nervous to come here after hearing mixed reviews about the staff - however I was welcomed with open arms by all - including both people on the door, people behind the bar and cloakroom I encountered. All lovely and non - judgmental. I popped in twice on a Saturday - once in the afternoon and once at around 11pm - I would say the afternoon was much more my vibe as things were a bit more discreet and sexy (in my opinion) with more space to roam around and the night was a lot more full on with a sea of naked bodies, a DJ and more of a club vibe - I think this venue would cater to a very wide range. Been on and off from this place throughout the years. Last 2 times I came here weren’t the best, but it’s really a matter of luck with the crowd to be honest. Hopefully more luck the next time.Staff are nice and helpful most of the times. Best place, bar men are always friendly and happy to chat, and personnel keep the place tidy etc during the night. Plenty of men at night especially naked night with plenty of slippage and naughtiness going on in all the nooks and crannies and I always get my fill ... or two. 😉. Absolutely an amazing cruising place. I visited the place on Friday. Arrived at / around 2 pm. Was busy ish. Lovely friendly gentleman at the entrance with lovely smile. Explained bits to me as it’s my first tone for me. Entry pound 11 includes a drink. Left my bag with the most friendly guy behind the counter. Grabbed a drink. Was faffing around to explore. Super friendly crowd. It got busier after 3:30. Heaven on earth. I had the most amazing time. A must to come here as it’s guaranteed a fun time. I will return again this weekend 🙈😈. Good basement gay bar. Not quite a club as there's no dancing, but plenty of hot men of all races, all ages and all shapes and sizes. Plenty of dark corners and private (well semi private) booths. I have been there many times and every time I go I’m disappointed. The guy at the reception is not friendly at all and should be sent to a customer service course, he is aggressive and for sure doesn’t like what he does.The place was busy with only 2 members of staff meaning you have to wait a lot to leave your stuff, to get a drink etc, the place was filthy today on 11/02/2022 @ 5pm. So don’t bother to come to a dirty place with rude staff. ( the poor guy at the bar was nice just running around working for 2 or 3 staff)Once again the guy at the reception is a killer in this business as he doesn’t make a small effort to make customers feel welcome. No mask wearing so you’ll be solely reliant on vaccine efficacy to prevent transmission.It's all about the in betweensIt's not a club - no dance floor, it's not a pub, no food or outdoor space, though it has a few comfy sofas. It's not a sauna - no steam room or jacuzzi- and patrons wear street clothes. And it's not in a 'gay' neighbourhood and. I intuit that some patrons are neither out nor self-identified as gay. No, the Vault in Whitfield St., Fitzrovia had a niche all to its own. And that's the beauty of this spot. For a reasonable £9 cover you get a free drink, a venue with lots of different kinds of space - the in betweens - a sofa in a dark passage, loads of benches some at right angle to facilitate more intimate contact. A barrel room with 55 gallon drums. Excellent security with coat and bag check and an option to leave wallet and phone behind the bar. (I strongly recommend doing this given close contact in dimly- lit spaces). And the patrons - a real mix of ages, nationalities and income I dare say. Some guys like to talk and others walk about - it's all about the in betweens. Highly recommended.niko

Went to the naked night yesterday without knowing. I had already paid so I thought why not? It felt amazing! It's great for your self esteem and if you have inhibition issues. And since everyone is naked, guys make out even in the bar area. I had a lot of fun. I would highly recommend the experience and try it again. If you are planning to go in the naked night, wear long socks so you can fit your card holder/money in it.Manuel Torres

Bigger guys are not welcome here, so don't waste your time and money. Also, there's mostly 50-60 years old zombies, so don't expect to meet any younger guys. If you'll find at least one young guy, he's definatelly gonna act like a princess and ignore everyone who tries to show him attention.Staff is rude and if they don't like, they'll show you that.Eddie Douglas

I have always had a great time at The Vault on the hold, although there has been one or two teething problems in the past with one member of staff at the pay desk, they have a habit of speaking down to you which is not acceptable - they are not that friendly sometimes, the mood with them can be odd with them at times and attitude isn't an attractive quality, just a thought, & as a paying customer they need to remember it is us that keeps them afloat be nice it cost nothing respect is a two way street......Oh and before I forget if you have a physical loyalty card they are no longer valid which is disgusting, because we paid and we earned those loyalty points but now that they've moved to the app that has made the physical loyalty cards redundant, in others words you have to start all over again with the new Vault App - personally I think they should honor them as we earned those loyalty points but that's just my opinion.....I must say the cloak room team are lovely so it not all bad.....When it comes to hygiene and cleanliness of the establishment it seems a little bit better than the last time since they've been reopened after lockdown, although there is room for improvement.....But putting the negative experiences aside its ok just have fun and enjoy yourself life's too short.....David Mitchell

Went on Saturday and it was my first time and was very pleasantly surprised, very busy with lots of uninhibited attractive guys ! Bit of a queue to enter as they do checks on the door but staff were super friendly and helpful and I didn’t wait longer than 5 mins , would definitely go again when in town next and recommend this venue to others . Great atmosphere and staff are very on the ball about keeping the place clean and Covid secure as much as they can.Their underwear and naked nights are always great to go to and I’ve never had a problem finding a bit of fun here.Sometimes you get guys who are pushy but staff will always help if you mention this to them.Drink prices are on par with other establishments.James Howells

Pound for pound Vault 139 is the best value in London.Where else can you get entry for the day and a beer for £9? Vault also has a friendly staff that were more than willing to help me, as an American in town for a couple weeks, to understand how the place worked and even suggested other places throughout London to check out.Tyler Matthews

So I came here around two years ago with my mate and the main guy who checked our Id's was the sweetest man ever. He made us feel so welcomed and keeping in mind we were baby gays whenever I think back to my late teens I remember my first ever experience being in such a place and it's genuinely filled with positive feelings because of that one guy so shout out to the lovely man who welcomed two baby gays who were nervous as hell. My first time at this place and firstly on website and google it said £9 or £10 at reception was charged £12
I don’t have a problem with it but it should have been made clear . I have never been so disgusted and sad to say the least as the night I was there. It was packed with elderly man and some youngsters ( neither were oil paintings ) a few extremely overweight no exaggeration whom no one touched however the elderly tried to grope me slowly but I walked away for the simple reason i felt this place wasn’t for me maybe I am set in my old fashioned ways of meeting men as I had. a 34 yr relationship and some youngsters thought they were gods gift to mankind tried there luck but same thing I just walked away feeling sad for all these people old young fat wondering aimlessly like lost souls seeking something within there inner selves but trying to find it here. eventually an orgy ensued and it was then that i decided to leave came home and just sat on my balcony tearing slowly at those youngsters who thought they will never get old with decrepit bodies, those overweight not trying to do something about it from a health aspect and those elderly who spent £12 in vain going home sadly and I wonder what there broken hearts think. As for the indians and Arabs they think they are the shining stars of being there sadly not because they too will grow old and decrepit.Never thought in gay life would become so sad and lonely for most people in the 21st Century and there salvation is trying to find it in sex. Thank God i grew up in the hay days when it was so beautiful to date find someone you could love unconditionally and if the pass on it just makes it more difficult to move on in this sad reality of gay life,
