Great experience at Village 512, I found the venue by attending Transister which is without a doubt the best open night for any Trans person like me. I arrived alone, was welcomed at the door and admitted for free. The Techno, House & Electronic music range, quality and build was among the best I've heard in any UK club. The place was totally rammed by the early hours while I danced and made new friends of all ages young and more mature till it closed at 6am. I can't wait to get the opportunity to DJ at the next Transister in August. Come, let your hair down, be yourself and make new friends :O)xxx
TRANSISTER was rocking. All ages and very diverse crowd , no attitude or idiots. Amazing music and djs . Super friendly security and toilet attendants.
Brilliant most nostalgic club and best LGBTQ friendly team 😀 Better than any gay bar I have gone to! If you’re passionate about music and culture and joining as one this is your place. I take my time to travel here for very good reasons 👊🏻🫶🏼💯
Went a couple of times, I had fun, tried to go to parties thrown by people I know and rejected at the door because "couples only". In a queer bar. Did not even try to get there again - whenever they don't want you in, you really don't want to go. They must be building up an amazing atmosphere I guess
512 will always have a place in my heart, but if the card machine on the day isn’t working before midnight then just get then get the card machine from the bar, or put the drink prices up 5%
Good place to end a nice night out. Unfortunately, one of the few venues left with late license in the area. The staff was very friendly, I forgot my jacket in a chair and two weeks later I came back and they kept it in the lost property, it it's a very expensive jacket , so this situation made me keep faith in humanity 😂, shout out to Marco who was very friendly helping me find it 👏👏👏
It was my second time there, and I had the same sensation. There are a few groups who always wanted to fight and destroy the atmosphere of the place.I found the place a little bit expensive for the service.Friendly stuff.
I went last night with my girlfriend to be accosted at the door because 'we clearly didnt know eachother', they made us show photos of us in the past to prove we knew eachother, which we personally found to be extremely disrespectful and invasive. We were then told that we 'looked to straight'. Don't go here unless you're a walking stereotype.
We went to this bar on Friday, I think about 9pm roughly. Doorman was rude to start with - just a generally unfriendly approach (but nice doormen a rare, sadly). The main problem we had was we got inside and ordered “two single gin and tonics”.The guy poured the gins in front of us, then took the glasses out the back, out of sight, to add the tonics and brought them back. They tasted very odd, which may have just been cheap tonic, but it was weird that they didn’t pour these in front of you. What made it worse, if it was just cheap tonic, the two SINGLE gin and tonics came to £17.50. I checked that these were definitely single and he confirmed. That’s way too expensive, even for London! We were the only two customers in there, and I think I now know why.Would absolutely give this place a miss.We drank our drinks fast and left.
My low scores are the for the security. You don't have to be rude, bullying, unfriendly to keep a spa e safe. It's a shame because the inclusive trans vibe and crowd are awesome, but the security staff manage to suck the joy out of it.
Boycott this place. I noticed a customer wearing a very small Palestine sticker on their jacket and the security confiscating them off of him and saying they don’t accept that. In this day and age a nightclub should not be silencing people. It’s truly disgusting and it was such a shameful thing to see. They did not even consider the person may be from Palestine or they simply care for human rights but this is a clear stance this venue has taken and it was utterly repulsive to see. Anyone with a care for human rights should stay clear of this establishment.
Very questionable security - most door staff very nice and apologetic for 1 door lady/owner? who demanded we buy her a drink to get in (otherwise £10 entry allegedly). Dead before 3AM
I was visiting from America came to this place draped in designer LV jacket Burberry shirt designer jeans easily the poshest person in the place. They told me no single entry you have to bring someone. Rubbish. I'm just going to assume they don't want black people there. Needless to say never again. The people and the security look very dirty anyway.
TROYY_dj.... I played at set here last night and the crowd was bouncing great atmosphere the place was rammed friendly stafff was made to feel very welcome after our 3 hour coach ride deffo would play a set there again and many more times
