We visited VB because we got several good reviews from visitors before. And yes, this resort really surprised us. Laslo showed us around and explained different areas. Two pools, one of them heated, a warm jacuzzi, small sauna, restaurant and different bungalows. We hope to have the chance to book there next winter.Nicky

Nice comfortable spacious bungalows in a relaxing and quiet environment. There is a friendly staff. There is also a good restaurant for breakfast, lunch and early dinner. This place is well know and it is recommended to book many months in advance. It is not to miss as you will have one of your best vacations if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet environment!Mr Trip advisor

It is hard to book here as it is always full house.. got lucky with a few days this time.. and after being at other places.. I will keep coming back. there is nothing about this place that you can be wrong about!!! everything is just top notch!!! hope they wont get too greedy like most places and start charging tons of money per nite..By the way.. the food is fantastic!!!Chris Dudley

Just perfect – there was nothing I didn’t like about it. Lovely pool area, exceptional service, great food, reasonably priced bar and restaurant. (Some people might think the location isn’t ideal as you have to get a taxi if you want to get to the beach or the bars, but others would argue it’s nice having somewhere secluded and quiet)Robert Kenyon

Excellent clothing optional gay complex, nicely laid out with two swimming pools and a selection of bungalows or villas to accommodate different group sizes. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The food in the restaurant is excellent.Travelling Boys

Our first visit to Villas Blancas after being recommended by many friends and we weren’t disappointed. A lovely peaceful relaxing clothing optional complex surrounded by beautiful plants and trees. There are 2 pools, one by the bar and restaurant and another pool within the complex. Add to this a huge jacuzzi which could possibly fit 20 people in. The owner and the staff are what makes this place special, always on hand to help or to serve you and happy to answer any of your needs or information you require. Breakfast was really nice with a nice selection of juices, cereals and baked goods as well as cooked breakfast, fruit juices and coffee. A well stocked bar offering drinks during the day and evening as well as pool snacks and evening meals. The rooms vary in size depending which you book but are all clean and spacious and also with air con and pool towels provided. A nearby small supermarket enables you to get anything you need. A 15-20 min walk to yumbo or grab a taxi. Safe and secure and very private. We can see why so many people return year on year, and look forward to our next stay in the future.Nikola

Very clean and intimate environment. The staff is nice and hardworking. Despite the language barrier, because we don't speak English, there was no problem understanding each other. It was my first time with my husband in a gay resort and it was one of our best vacations. If you want to be yourself, Villa Blancas is the right place to relax. Thank you very much to everyone who takes care of the resort for a wonderful stay and welcome. We wish you only the best. We are already thinking of another date and look forward to visiting again. So lovely to be back at VB! I have lost count how many times we have been here but it's always a great stay. Great rooms, (especially the 2/3 bed villas), pools, bar and gardens. Always get to meet some great people and don't worry about staying solo . Away from the drugged up twinks and just a short taxi ride to bars, clubs and restaurants. Highly recommended!!Nikola

Amazing accommodation with well-maintained and spacious rooms. Villas Blancas in Gran Canaria is a true gem! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home, thanks to Jason, the owner, and his welcoming team. They were always nearby, ready to assist with a smile. The bar/restaurant is a standout. Chef Andrew and his amazing team offer delicious cocktails alongside an impressive menu, including a daily special—all at very reasonable prices. The bungalows are charming, tranquil, and impeccably maintained by the diligent cleaning staff. This place is perfect for couples or solo travelers looking for a relaxing getaway. The tropical gardens that surround the two beautiful pools add to the serene atmosphere. The friendly, chatty vibe among guests made the experience even better. Our 8th stay at this fabulous, restful and friendly gay resort on Gran Canaria. We are always assured of a warm welcome from the team who go out of their way to make sure we have an excellent holiday. The rooms are spacious with individual air conditioning and are laid out around two pools with tropical plants and trees throughout. A friendly place. Far from gay stereotypes. Here, everyone has their place, and there's no feeling of being judged if you're not perfectly sculpted or wearing the latest ES swimsuit. However, I won't be returning because it's the 4th time I've requested a quiet bungalow. Each time, I end up with a bungalow in the busiest alley. It feels like they don't even read the specific requests.Some friends asked for a bungalow next to the pool and got one near the entrance. It shouldn't be too difficult to create a computer system that allows for booking available bungalows based on certain location criteria within the resort.Steven Lux

Great venue and staff were friendly and welcoming . Only drawback was that there was a big group of English guys who knew each other and didn’t seem particularly interested in making new friends or making anyone else feel welcome .Combine this with the fact that the owners seemed to know them all and went out of their way to greet and welcome them while hardly acknowledging us , and the effect was like being at a party you hadn’t been invited to .Accommodation was lovely and food was great .We just felt a little left out and unseen . A shame for somewhere that seems to be known for being welcoming and inclusive .Joe McCorry

Bungalows & grounds immaculate as usual. We've been coming here for 25+ years. Lunch can be provided at 1pm, not earlier. (contrary to website which claims food is available from 0900-1900)If you would like an evening meal you must go off somewhere else.This might not be an issue for most but worth bearing in mind.Pro Tip: don't rely on Glovo (local deliveroo), best to bite the bullet and venture out somewhere else.Andy Greenhalgh

So I have to admit this was my first time staying in an exclusively gay clothing optional resort. I was worried it may be sleazy and non relaxing, however not at all. Yes there are spaces to have a play if you wish (sauna, hot tub - at times) but otherwise the vibe is one of relaxation and socialising. The gardens are beautiful, food was great and the friends group we became part of met up regularly for happy hour.Would definitely stay againMoreno Intranova

Fantastic resort for the gay community. Friendly staff, clean throughout and great good served in gone restaurant. This is probably my fourth stay over the years and I'll definitely be returning next year. It is the best resort in Gran Canaria and highly recommended.Todd H.
