The sauna is extremely clean and very well maintained. The customer service is outstanding — the staff are always attentive, friendly, and ready to help with any questions about the place. They make you feel comfortable and welcome from the moment you arrive.I highly recommend visiting! It’s a safe place, well organized, and perfect to relax and enjoy with peace of mind.
My first time going and I was by myself, staff were friendly and helpful, easy enough to find your way around, I went on Sunday, weather was terrible so thought it may not be busy but it was packed. I saw the rooms being cleaned numerous times and the place appeared to be clean, I met a guy who showed me around the place, people were respectful if you just wanted to browse around, enjoyed the experience
The place is good, very friendly staffs. First time to went here, so I’m nervous but I enjoyed it by myself. It’s just funny and wild how everyone looking at me, like their eyes are telling something, ‘What’s this underage kid doing here? One of them point a finger on me while gossiping with the other one hahahaha. Not a problem I’m just chilling on my own. overall I enjoy the experience and very nice place. I’m not under18.
Wet Spa & Sauna is truly a gem in Brisbane and holds a very special place in the community. As the only gay sauna in Brisbane, it has played an incredibly important role by providing not just amazing facilities, but a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for everyone who walks through its doors. The facilities are always well maintained, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax, unwind, and enjoy the experience. The staff are friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming — they make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. What really sets Wet apart is the atmosphere. It feels safe, inclusive, and respectful. Everyone who comes here understands the space and treats each other with kindness and respect, which makes the experience even more enjoyable and reassuring.Huge credit must go to the owner for the incredible work they continue to do. Keeping this space running is no small task, and for many people, Wet is not “just a sauna” — it’s a safe place where guys can explore, connect, relax, and truly be themselves without fear or judgement. That alone makes it invaluable to the community.Wet Spa & Sauna is more than a venue — it’s a sanctuary, a community space, and a reminder of how important inclusive, well-run spaces like this are. Highly recommended and deeply appreciated.Below response is for the review left by Sweet Dreams Person:Mate I was personally present at the venue during the time referenced, and this review does not reflect what I witnessed. There was no physical assault, no intoxicated or aggressive behaviour, and the environment remained calm and respectful throughout. What occurred was purely a simple misunderstanding, which was handled appropriately. Staff were attentive and professional, and guest safety was not ignored or compromised. The claims made here are misleading.
Very clean , and enjoyable play spaces. I was there on a Tuesday afternoon , 3:30-7. It was getting busier as I was leaving. Lots of bears. Overall friendly staff and other guests. I’d love to see this place on a busy weekend night . I’d visit again if ever in Melbourne .
During my visit today, I was physically assaulted by an intoxicated regular customer in one of the rooms. The most shocking part was the staff's reaction. I explicitly complained about the individual's behavior, but nothing was done to remove the person or de-escalate the situation. They prioritized a 'regular' over the safety of other guests. Proceed with extreme caution.
I find some of the reviews about this facility and their service outrageous, especially considering that I have personally seen regular cleaning being carried out several times throughout the day. The facility itself is very well equipped. Unfortunately, some clients seem to have a different perception of hygiene and leave the rooms dirty after using them, expecting the staff to clean after each individual use.The receptionists have always been welcoming and kind. The steam room works really well, and I find the whole experience very relaxing. Adding a good massage service would truly be the strawberry on top of the cake.I also appreciate the discreet variety of drinks available, including some international soft drinks which I found very nice. On two occasions I tried their cakes, which were fresh, tasty, and honestly better than anything I’ve had for breakfast as a sweet treat around the area.I wholeheartedly recommend this facility. I believe we have in Brisbane a little diamond to be proud of, even when compared to what is offered in Sydney and Melbourne.
The venue is really well equipped facility wise, the layout is sound that said it hasn't really changed much. Sadly I think the owner is tired and over it, he really is lucky there is no competition. It's not just lacking any kind of creativity to entice more people to frequent the place on days that aren't Sunday. The corium event twice yearly not organized by wet, the event has sold out every time. Maybe if they offered a discounted entry fee after 6pm mon-wed people would attend. It works for venues in Sydney and Melbourne with far higher rent than here. My main reason for reviewing is after my visit today Sunday. Usually I attend later in the afternoon always busy always filthy but understandable at times with the number of people in there. Today I attended half an hour after opening the owner working, I went to the downstairs toilets on arrival filthy piss everywhere both toilets dirty smelt musty clearly hadn't been cleaned from the night before. Then to shower and 1 of the 4 soap dispensers had soap in it. Just tired lazy couldn't care less. Maybe you should sell and stop robbing the people of Brisbane a decent sauna.
Went here yesterday and the steam room stank, they only do 15 minute pass outs and they only have 5 difrent drinks to choose from. Would recommend getting more alcoholic drinks and making money off that instead of only doing 15 minute pass outs. (People could come back multiple times a day which means more fun for us and more drinks you could sell.
This was the first all male sauna I have ever been to. I went Wednesday, 2 days ago at around 5pm.Although nervious and not knowing what to expect, I had an incredible time. The Staff was really friendly, the place was clean, and I received plenty of attention from men of all ages, who on the whole were polite, friendly and repectful of my limits. Thete was around 30 guys there when I visited. Although I prefered to play out in the open, I could see the rooms were clean, each with a plentiful supply of condoms and lube.Tomorrows Saturday, so Im thinking I may head back to relive the experience!
Went for the first time On a Sunday found the entry staff one was quite rude but was no issue, found the whole place nice, I had never been to a place like this and wa sneer outs went with a mate his first time, locker room is clean, I went and cruised and enjoy it I found everyone was respectful probably because I’m an older male but with my friend who was younger he told them no and it was no, enjoy the private room wirh my friend and others found the only issue is if you don’t lock the door immidiately guys try to barge in to join you, but the pa was nice snd the steam room, only issue is I found people grabbing my towel abut the staff replaced them and it wasn’t an issue, the bar is cheap as well if you want to go judt to cuddle up and watch a movie, all in all thank you WET I have already started to promote it to my mates and friends we may all come In a group who doesn’t love an orgy
I don’t understand why people just give 1 star. This place is underrated. 3.5 star is not fair for the boss. This place is clean, and everything should be good enough. I don’t think the customer service is bad
free towels and there's a short 15 minute time out which was good, The worker there told us to tell them if anyone was annoying or harassing us which felt very welcoming, cool environment overall
It’s not the best place if your going to start comparing with SYD, MEL, it’s the best we have and that’s a shame, about reviews the positive ones are more than likely staff or friends of staff in the Latin community going by the names, the negative reviews are likely people who didn’t score, however you can go there make you own judgement, or put $30 in a Pokie and see what if’s the best reward for you
What rubbish it was $30 for that cmon really felt uncomfortable the place had used condoms in the showers , cum on the floors dirty shitty paper towels every where place just smelt like sewage, the swimming pool had used condoms floating in it there were fights in the dark rooms il never be going back there again
Tried to report someone spreading stis but Josh at the front door didn’t care and also make sure you use a fake name cause they don’t care for privacy at allApparently the owner is called Greg so email him if you have any question.. this is the Josh that had had an attitude and didn’t ask for any proof of age of people going in and the cars parked outside
I recommend going in a group, going alone is kind of nerve racking, I went alone once, got groped by some of the older men there (talking about grey to white haired individuals) but when I was walking around in my pup hood, some seem interested and one asked to give me headpats which I was okay with, I tend to update this review after each time I come to the spa
Came to visit from Melbourne where I’m very familiar with the Wet Sauna; this one just doesn’t compare. It was a Wednesday night and I had to wait at the front door to be let in, only for the venue to be empty. I expected there to be a bar and smoking area similar to all other saunas I’ve experienced in Australia and other counties, but nothing. The venue is small and I couldn’t even find the cruising area? Based on the other old reviews here, it seems like the venue hasn’t had an upgrade in a long time and is well due one - or there needs to be some more competition in Brisbane to bring the standards up. Staff were lovely though.
Mt first time going there, I actually wore my pup hood most of the time (didn't mind getting stared at) however, someone gave my bottom a light squeeze which annoyed me, I did like the place though, felt rather comfortable going there, I'd like to go again and kinda wish there were more pups there, also liked how there were some free rooms, though, a stranger tried to come into the room I was going into with some friends, we told him to go away politely, tbh, I would've given this place more stars if it hadn't been the fact that someone had grabbed me innapropriately, not saying this place is bad, just saying that some of the guys here could keep their hands to themselves and not do that to me
Great first experience better then when I visited the one in Sydney but one thing, can yall pls put on “No means No!” Signals on almost every corner?? Cos it’s kinda annoying when even after I straight up said “no” some of the guys still being pushy …
I’ve been going to WET since 2021 and absolutely love the vibe. The reception staff are always friendly, respectful, and make you feel welcome. Parking has never been an issue, which is a big plus. The pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna are all fantastic, and most of the time, you meet good, friendly people inside. Sure, occasionally you encounter someone not as pleasant, but that’s not the venue’s fault. I make it a point to visit at least once every two months, and I’ve even made some great friends there. I highly recommend WET, especially if you’re new in town and looking to meet people.
I started coming here quite often at the end of 2023. I have experienced what every day has to offer. As with most things, it can be hit and miss and depends entirely on personal preferences. Sundays are super busy early afternoon with the highest chance to find what you're looking for or at least get some good eye candy. Most recently, I've been coming during the day midweek to enjoy the actual spa amenities and destress and unwind before I return to work over the weekend. It's typically quiet, and you can stretch out and enjoy. The showers have seemed to have some water temperature issues recently, which will hopefully be resolved or at least not matter in the warmer months. There's recently been some unpleasant odours around the cruising area and steam room, and of course, in the bathroom. You do unfortunately have to deal with some creepy behaviour with people following you around, even when you give no indication of interest or straight up say "no thanks" and continue to get groped by typically older men. No means no! Maybe need some signage about body language alongside the consent signage. They have implemented a basic system to identify what you're there for. Wear your locker key around your: wrist if you Top, upper arm if you're Vers or ankle if your Btm. No way to identify Side or just relaxing. It's super frustrating arriving 30mins before they open and the carpark already being full, potentially by people visiting other businesses. Too many lazy locals driving in when theyre 5 mins away by foot or public transport.😤 thankfully i could park precariously till they opened and then went inside to ask about the 2 spots blocked by the yellow bollards and they were able to unlock one for me. 😊
Wet the sauna is the best place around to meet friendly people plus the fascilities are clean etc. There's a spa sauna steam pool plus cinema rooms plus a great lounge area with food and drinks. Wet the sauna is legal discreet and relaxing. There's someone for everyone and there's no pressure or profile needed. For me it's therapeutic as it takes the stress out of daily living. It's not just gay men who go to the sauna but also lotsa bi and straight acting men xxx 😐
Great place to go when the missus gets her hair done, stumbled on it by accident, the pool, sauna and steam room were great, the staff and patrons were very affectionate and friendly. They even have small dark rooms where you can lay down and relax!I even ran into my father in law and his son while in the spa such a small world!
A lot of the information on Google Reviews is spot on about Wet. This is the only gay sauna in Brisbane, the entry price is probably the most expensive of any gay sauna in Australia, this is because there is not competition. There is no pass out system available. Most of the private rooms are very narrow so don’t expect to cuddle up with anyone unless you are lucky to get one of the three bigger rooms. Cleanliness is not big on the agenda at this sauna, public areas are clean but the toilets appear to be only cleaned just before opening and the private rooms are not cleaned through the day - well when I have been there anyway and I stay about 4 hours. The garbage bins in the private rooms are usually overflowing with used paper towels. The staff include the owners and usually two Columbian staff who are younger. I have heard the Columbian staff do engage in sex with the paying customers when the owners are not on site. I haven’t seen this but have seen the staff checking out the dark room and checking out the private rooms.Sundays are the busiest time, with lots of gorgeous males who like to prance around looking for Mr Right, they don’t realise the other males are there for sex and not marriage proposals. If you find someone, good luck on finding a room to play in. Tuesdays are busy as it is towel free - lately it has been pretty quite compared to 3 or 4 months ago - an older crowd. Friday nights are hit or miss - towel free from 6pm. All other days are hit or miss. The pricing is $30 at all times unless you have a concession and that drops the price to $27. Parking can be very hard to get especially if there is an event on at the nearby Showgrounds.
