About Sling Bar

The SLING stands for the combination of entertainment and eroticism . A cruising lounge of international standard : a state-of-the-art, computer-controlled light bar, clear, clean air even when the restaurant is full; clean sanitary facilities; neutral, friendly crew at the bar; Trance, techno and house sound throughout the entire area. Sling has catapulted the cruising bars out of the dim corner and arranged them into a bar that awakens endlessly pleasant erotic fantasies. Free WIFI internet is available throughout the SLING's opening hours . Specially developed and made for the sling: “What you see is what you get”... the urinal with the glass wall . An important part of the male body is visible, never the face - but always with an automatic washing system for the glass screen. In which other cinema can you get to know the main actor of a thrilling film immediately after the performance and also experience and admire all the other exhibits of the event up close? Our parties Sunday afternoon ( Naked/Naked Mask ) meeting point for attractive Viennese and Vienna tourists!

I was a bit hesitant to visit after reading all the negative reviews, but I’m glad I gave Sling a try. Yes, the card payment policy (only for purchases of €10 or more) is a bit inconvenient, especially if you’re from a card-only country like me, but the rule is clearly posted throughout the place. I'm a guest, so I adjust to the house rules. If you don't like the house rules, why even bother going?!? The bartender working on January 26th was super friendly, funny, and spoke great English. He seemed to connect well with both new and frequent guests, and he made me feel welcome. The ground floor, including the toilet, was clean and well maintained. I liked that there were lockers available for €1, which made it easy to store stuff securely. The basement is a cruising area and it’s very dark, so it’s hard to judge cleanliness, but everything seemed in order. The only downside for me in the basement was the blue UV light, which was a bit harsh on my eyes. Otherwise, I enjoyed my time and had some hot action with other guests down there. It was a Monday evening, so the venue wasn’t too crowded. Overall, I’d definitely come back the next time I’m in Vienna!

Awful place. You’re greated by a grumpy rude old man who only wants you to spend your money on drinks. Should have given heed to all the negative comments here and not have wasted my time bothering going there. Stay away from this place!

After reading the recent negative reviews, I’m honestly not surprised. This bar hasn’t changed at all since my experience here in December 2024. The way customers are treated—especially gay customers—is absolutely unacceptable. As gay men or LGBTQ+ people in general , we deal with enough discrimination in our daily lives. Bars like this should be safe spaces, not places where we feel disrespected, targeted, or singled out. The behaviour I experienced here was completely uncalled for. What goes around comes around. If this bar continues treating people like this, the backlash will only grow. You can’t operate this way forever without consequences. This bar left a scar on me that I will never forget. I sincerely hope my review prevents the same from happening to someone else. I’ve already heard from others in the community who feel the same way, and we’re sharing our experiences with one another to make sure people are aware. When multiple people have consistent negative experiences, it becomes obvious that real change is needed. We deserve safe and respectful spaces, and if this bar cannot provide that, the LGBTQ+ community will continue speaking up publicly. Our voices matter.

I was just there and new customers arrived. They were accused by the bartender of ordering drinks that they did not order, then forced to pay for the drinks that they did not order in order to get their jackets back, and then they left after paying €16 for nothing. The bartender was pretty cute, but I guess he was under a lot of pressure from his boss standing across from him.
