These Terms govern your use of the WhereIs.Gay website and mobile apps, operated by Mednesia Ltd (trading as WhereIs.Gay), Unit 11, Hove Business Centre, Fonthill Road, Hove, East Sussex, BN3 6HA, registered in England under company number 08300000.

By using our services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

WhereIs.Gay provides a directory of LGBTQ+ venues and related information for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

• Scrape, copy or republish listings without written permission
• Submit false, misleading, unlawful or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our services or systems
• Use the website or apps for an unlawful purpose

The public mobile app does not require an account. Saved places are stored on your device only and are not backed up or synced by WhereIs.Gay. They may be lost if you clear the app's data or uninstall it. Location features are optional and depend on device permissions and third-party map services.

Venue-owner accounts and listing-management tools are provided on the website, not in the public mobile app.

We work to keep venue information accurate, but cannot guarantee it is complete or current. Venues may change hours, close, move, or alter services without notice.

Check a venue's own website or social channels before making a specific trip. We are not responsible for loss, inconvenience or expense caused by reliance on directory information.

When you submit reviews, venue suggestions or other content, you confirm that:

• It is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• You own or have permission to submit it
• It does not infringe third-party rights or applicable law
• It is not defamatory, offensive or misleading

We may moderate, edit, decline or remove submitted content. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish and use it in our services and related promotion.

Our services may use or link to third parties, including mapping, reviews, venue websites and social profiles. We do not control their content, availability, terms or privacy practices, and links do not constitute an endorsement.

Ratings may combine data from Google, Yelp and user submissions. They are indicative only and may not reflect a venue's current quality or status. Approved user reviews may be published without reviewer email addresses and may be moderated or removed.

Original WhereIs.Gay text, design, logos and code belong to Mednesia Ltd or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without written permission.

Our services are provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and liability for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on our services.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

We may update these Terms. Changes take effect when posted here with a revised date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
