Adam Sauna

Nice big sauna in the centre of Rome. You may find there men of all ages and origins. Also they have installed a brand new huge sauna which is super clean and relaxing. I’m sure coming back to this gem again

My experience at this sauna was extremely disappointing, and I honestly believe the condition of this place is a public health concern. My partner and I couldn't stay for more than 30 minutes. We left with the smell of mold all over our clothes and bodies. The biggest issue is the complete lack of hygiene and maintenance. The ceiling of the steam room is covered in black mold, something that is clearly visible to anyone. This is not only unpleasant but also potentially dangerous to the health of customers. The entire place gives the impression of being neglected and abandoned. The darkroom was flooded, looking more like a shallow pool than a darkroom. On top of that, it wasn't even dark. The structure appears to be makeshift, built with lightweight partition panels that don't seem safe at all. It looks like someone could easily knock the walls down with very little force. The private cabins are old, poorly maintained, and show obvious signs of neglect. The towels smelled terrible, making the lack of hygiene even more noticeable. The bartender, a young man with black hair, showed no interest in providing good service. He barely looked us in the eye, had no patience to explain what services were available, and seemed more concerned about finishing his shift than helping customers. The receptionist was polite, but only average (around 6/10), which was not enough to make up for all the problems with the facility. Other negative points: • Bad smell throughout almost the entire venue. • The entire place urgently needs renovation. • Sauna not hot enough. • Showers only lukewarm. • Jacuzzi with very weak water pressure. • Old, poorly maintained, and improvised facilities. I also want to add something that genuinely surprised me: I cannot understand how this place has so many positive reviews. I honestly don't see how people can overlook such obvious problems. If this is considered a high-quality sauna, I can only imagine their reaction if they ever visit a truly well-maintained sauna like those in Lisbon or Brussels. The difference is enormous. Please forgive the expression, but compared to those places, Sauna Adam feels like a sewer in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. I have never been to such a degraded establishment. I am not writing this review to attack the business, but because I genuinely believe no one should be exposed to conditions like these. It is a real shame that a city like Rome has a venue in this condition. This is not just about comfort it is about hygiene, safety, and respect for customers. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The problems go far beyond appearance: the excessive mold, poor maintenance, and overall condition of the facility may put customers' health at risk. I sincerely hope this review encourages the owners to carry out a complete renovation and invest in proper hygiene and safety. Rome is an extraordinary city and deserves a sauna that lives up to its reputation by offering a clean, safe, and respectful environment for its visitors.

Easy to find the place, next to Black Hole bar Staff here are hot and friendly, but they might struggle with English so please be kind to them. It is big but mostly cruising area, there is a big sauna room and a big steam(turkish bath), resting area with 2 TV(you know what they showing) many private room, toilets and showers. I saw people review about locker but seem there is not a problem at all cos they have huge locker room than other professional sauna place. Try to find Hugo at the bar :) ❤️❤️❤️

The sauna is super easy to get to from most of Rome. It’s just a five-minute walk from the train station. Look for the Pizzeria; Adam’s right next door. Don’t let the immediate staircase scare you. Follow them down, and you’ll be at the check-in point. If you’ve never been to this sauna before, you’ll need to buy a membership. If you plan to return, don’t lose your card. This is pretty common in Europe. Make sure to know your Euro shoe size, because they have slippers, and I highly recommend you wear them. Use the small lockers for your valuables, and the bigger lockers are for your clothes, shoes, and other stuff. You’ll get two towels; I suggest leaving the fluffy one for the end of your visit. The sauna is a bit older, but it seems to be well-maintained. There’s a small smoking area, two places to sit and relax, and then there’s the fun zone. Most of the “meeting and greeting” happens in the steam area. It’s a lively place with a lot of action and fun. There’s a corridor of rooms with lockable doors. I didn’t see any condoms or lube available in the rooms. I went on a Saturday afternoon, and it was a blast. There were all sorts of people there - younger guys, older guys, bears, cubs, and even a couple of bodybuilders. Most of the people were friendly and welcoming, and I had a great time socializing with new friends. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun break from art galleries or ancient ruins. :)

Textbook definition of gets he job done. The aging of the facility is noticeable, but everything works fine. The steam room is a nice size. Membership required for €10 for a year.
