Ah House, Nelson City B&B

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Stay at Ah House Bed & Breakfast We recently enjoyed a wonderful 3-night stay in the Garden Apartment at Ah House Bed & Breakfast and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The hospitality from John and Mark was second to none. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcome and were always available with helpful local recommendations and advice on places to visit and dine. The apartment was comfortable, spacious, and felt like a home away from home. Every little detail had been thoughtfully considered to ensure guests have everything they need for a relaxing stay. A delicious breakfast was provided daily, which was a fantastic way to start each morning. Excellent location 5 min walk from CBD. The quality of the accommodation, attention to detail, and genuine warmth of the hosts made our stay truly memorable. We would highly recommend Ah House Bed & Breakfast to anyone visiting the area and would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you, John and Mark, for a fantastic stay.

Ah House is a fabulous B&B. In 3 trips to New Zealand we have stayed 5 times. The owners are wonderful hosts, very accommodating, and very knowledgeable of the Nelson area and fun!! Location is 5 minutes to downtown, dining and pubs very close.

Wonderful in every aspect. We stayed in the garden rooms, a quaint sitting room and across a private deck a lovely bedroom and en-suite. Every detail has been thought carefully. The location is perfect, surrounded by the leafy inner city residential area behind the cathedral, you can see the spire and hear the bells from the deck. Restaurants, and the city is a short walk away. Mark and Johns hospitality is great, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely with a wide choice and served either in room or in the main houses dining room. Ah house deserves every award they’ve won. If you’re visiting Nelson do yourselves a favour and make Ah house your home from home.

What an oasis nestled in a quiet street in the heart of Nelson. Every detail has been thought of by the hosts Mark & John; the rooms and property are a delight to explore with art and vintage details. Breakfast was delicious with homemade granola and bread, and host of freshly cooked options to your tastes. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Fantastic location where you can be in the heart of the city in a few minutes. We stayed in the garden room which was cosy and private. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay.
