Went on a themed night and had a great time. Music was great and not so loud that you can't have a conversation with someone else. We enjoyed the drinks and they were not too expensive. Very friendly staff, although if they get busy don't be afraid to try and catch their attention to get service, otherwise you might wait a while! Plenty of difference spots to hang out and people watch, lots of seating options, I loved the upstairs to take a break from the action. I felt very welcome as a gay FtM. Only things to note is that I wish there was a dedicated area to dance to the music! Coat check is also cash only, not a bad thing per se but good to know if you plan on visiting.

Met some local here to hang out and shoot some pool. Overall service was great at the main bar. This is a split-level bar, with upstairs seating and multiple bar areas inside and out. I imagine during warmer months it can get pretty packed - on a random Sat afternoon it was busy but not hectic,

I have been here many times, and it is a chill place. My only question is why the same drinks cost a different amount. The price of both drinks changed by seemingly random amounts. What is that about??

Our go to in Montreal. Love sitting on the outside deck with a pint or pitcher, and watching the world go by. The nightlife is also a must hit event.

I came here with my boyfriend around 11:30 pm on August 3rd since we were visiting Montreal for a few days. We sat at the bar and waited around 20 minutes to order some drinks but found that the bartender was actively avoiding us while serving several customers who came in after we did. The behaviour definitely felt off and the only reason we can think as to why is that we weren’t speaking french. We ended up going to Bar Renard and had a much better time there. Definitely would recommend against visiting if you’re coming from out of province.
