AiiRO Cafe is easily one of the best bars in Nichome! The staff are so friendly and the cocktail list is fantastic, you can get all the classics as well as some creative cocktails unique to this bar. It’s a great bar to start your night out in Nichome. I’m often travelljng solo and I love how easy it is to meet other travellers and locals here. Make sure you check it out if you’re visiting Tokyo!

Aiiro is literaly the perfect place to spend the whole night or just start your journey in Tokyo's gay town ! The drinks are pretty cheap (especially if you like beer, you can drink as much as you want for 3 hours for only 1000 Yen). The staff is very friendly and can speak english. The customers (both japanese and foreigners) are welcoming, so feel free to chat with everyone as they might guide you through the area and make your trip here even better !!!!

Well, my husband and I finally made it here. With its famous rainbow Torii gate, this mostly open space is inarguably the most visible gay bar in Shinjuku Ni Chome, Ground Zero for all things gay in Tokyo. On previous visits, the space was overflowing with customers out onto the sidewalk, so we bypassed it in favor of lots of other choices nearby. This time, however, we had finished our hearty ramen bowls at Michelin-starred Soba House Konjiki-Hototogisu just across Shinjuku-Dori. AiiRO had barely opened at 6PM, and regulars had already started to gather. The chief bartender was a nice guy, and we briefly chatted about the most outrageous things he had seen in the area. My husband got the ¥800 Tequila Sunrise. I must've felt like a Karen and went for the provocatively named ¥1,100 White Girl Wasted. It had amaretto, vodka, and who knows what else. We snatched a table out front, and I almost became Old Man Wasted. But hey, it was just the shank of the evening, and that's where AiiRO belonged on our itinerary. It's the ideal spot to kick start an evening of unintended debauchery in Shinjuku Ni Chome. COCKTAILS - 4 stars...good kick to their libations AMBIANCE - 4 stars...quite a view of the colorful street activity SERVICE - 4.5 stars...really friendly American expat bartender TOTAL - 4 stars...yep, start your night here

Greatest gay place in Tokio. Such a great experience! They have a very good dj, and the atmosphere is unique. We discovered the place by chance. We’ll come back for sure 👌

Absolutely my favourite bar in Shinjuku 2(Ni)-chome!! "The Beer Blast"- All you can drink beer that they do from 6 to 9pm costs only 1000yen!!! They sure have varieties of drinks as well. Staffs are very friendly and this is the bar I go first every time I go back to Tokyo, Japan.
