We visited hoping to try some traditional regional German food, especially the Sauerbraten. Unfortunately, they had sold out, but that didn't stop us from having a fantastic experience. A huge thank you to our waitress, Nicole, who was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to recommend other traditional dishes. Thanks to her suggestions, we still got to enjoy an authentic German dining experience, and everything we ordered was delicious. The portions were also huge, so make sure you come hungry! Nicole's excellent service really made our visit memorable, and we can't thank her enough for making us feel so welcome. We'll definitely be back—and next time, we'll make sure to try the Sauerbraten!

We did call and reserved a place for three but arrived late due to public transport, still we were able to get wonderful place in the restaurant. We were then asked for drinks and later food. Our waiter was Nicole who has been very patient and nice. They serve big portions of meals so my sister took a small portion of Schnitzel. All the food we ordered were tasting delicious! They also have very yummy salad where all ingredients were fresh and their sauce is the best! It is their homemade sauce and its a must try! We did not wait long for the food. We even got some shots at the end to keep us warm which was prepared by Nicole based on what we like. We will definitely come back!

This place was an absolute gem - we were so glad to have dined here during our short stay in Dusseldorf. We had the schweinshaxe (roasted pork knuckle), which came with roasted potatoes and sauerkraut. Everything about the dish was perfect - the crackling was deliciously crispy, yet the meat within was juicy and tender. The sides were fabulous too. Definitely the best sauerkraut I've ever had! The dish was very reasonably priced with a massive portion that was more than enough for two to share (with leftovers for takeaway). We also loved the vibe. It was clearly a beloved neighbourhood establishment, where everyone seemed to know everyone else and were all happy to be there. It was busy, but the servers were communicative and friendly. All in all, one of our best meals in Germany and we would definitely recommend this restaurant for a delightfully German experience.

This place is absolutely delicious! The dishes are beautifully presented and very tasty. We didn’t have a reservation, but we managed to get a table. However, it’s better to book in advance because the place is crowded and always full of guests. My dish was a bit too salty, but still absolutely delicious.
