About Atlantic House (A-House)
The Atlantic House—universally known as the A-House—is one of Provincetown’s defining gay nightlife institutions. Its historic building holds three distinct experiences: the cosy, nautical Little Bar; the upstairs leather-and-denim Macho Bar; and the Big Room dance club with DJs, strong sound and a lively summer crowd. That range makes it work for a quiet drink or a full night of dancing. Unlike many Provincetown venues, it operates year-round, carrying queer history without feeling like a museum.
